Chapter 9 ON BOARD

"You take care of the condo, okay? Don't even think about inviting men there; I'll kill you if I hear the news," Allison threateningly said to Shanell. They are now at the pier, where Allison can already see the 2GO ferry she was going to ride in a little while.

Shanell drove her there because she insisted on doing so.

"What are you saying, girl? I don't even think of doing that. I know my face is thick, but I'm still responsible," Shanell answered as they both took off their seatbelts and exited the car.

They went straight to the back of the car to get Allison's things.

"Break a leg, girl. When you get to Coron, show them your hidden charm!" Shanell told Ameria as she closed the door of her car from the back and faced her. Allison couldn't help but laugh at what her friend said.

"It's still 15 hours before I get to Coron. Don't you think you're too excited about it?" Allison answered while laughing a little.

"Well, technically speaking, I'm really excited. I'm just excited for you!"

"Whatever! I guess your faith in Coron is so big, and you didn't think of how enormous the ship is."

"What do you mean?" Shanell asked.

"I mean, I can probably meet a man right away on the ship, right? So I don't have to wait until I get to Coron," Allison jokingly replied to Shanell, which was followed by a chuckle. They both laughed and ended their conversation right then and there because Allison was getting closer to the ship.

The 2GO staff immediately approached Allison to check her ticket and show her where she should go.

When the staff said she had to go straight when she entered to get to the front desk, Allison immediately thanked him and left.

Allison followed the staff's instructions to go straight until she soon saw the front desk he was referring to. She waited to approach the front desk because other passengers were ahead of her, so she had to line up. It looked like there were a lot of passengers in line because of the amount of luggage they were carrying, but according to Allison's count, there were only five people ahead of her.

ALMOST ALL the female staff of 2Go were full of broad smiles as they stared at their VIP passenger while he was talking to the senior supervisor. Their eyes were blessed because they were able to observe the erotic features and handsome face of River Santillan

River was seriously talking to the senior supervisor of 2Go, who even personally accompanied him to his VIP stateroom. Even though he was the only one among his friends going to Coron Palawan, he couldn't do anything else to take the VIP room because that was what was written on the ticket given to him by Fiona and Carlos. River thought his friend Ashton would be with him, but it's not what happened.

While River was talking to Anthony, the senior supervisor, he had no idea that almost all the female staff were fantasizing about him. Who wouldn't be captivated by his charisma, good looks, and Adonis-like body? In his sky blue polo shirt that fits him quite well, his biceps which are obviously abundant in the gym, are getting noticeable, making the knees of the women who see him tremble even more. Add to that was his men's perfume that can make your underwear fall off.

"The honor is all mine and on my whole 2GO family, Mr. Santillan. We hope that the next time you come back here, we will serve your entire family," Anthony spoke happily to him and extended his right hand; River quickly accepted it and then smiled.

The Santillan family is also well known by large companies like 2GO because they are one of the patrons of CTechno Appliances products they use throughout the ship.

"Your support to CTechno Appliances will reach my Dad," River spoke respectfully. That was their last conversation until the staff finally said goodbye, and that's when he finally entered his room.

The first thing that caught his eye were the two empty beds covered with white and brown sheets and the two pillows. The ambiance is very relaxing to the point that his eyes become sleepy. The color of the wall doesn't hurt the eyes, and even though it's still sunny outside, the whole room is dark because of the curtain covering the window itself. That room is just like in a hotel; it has its own bathroom with a mini bathtub, the room is air-conditioned, and there is also room service in case he doesn't want to leave the room. It has its own charging area, television, and personal refrigerator, which is different from the other rooms since he's a VIP.

He unbuttoned the first three buttons of his polo shirt before finally sitting on his bed. The room feels empty. Maybe it's because he occupies two beds, even though he's alone.

He also removed the silver Rolex he was wearing. After taking off the watch, he collapsed on his bed. He didn't plan to do anything inside the fifteen hours of the voyage except maybe when he wanted to go around outside.

Allison quickly put down her luggage when she got to the room where she would stay for about fifteen hours. There were already a lot of people in that room because she was only in the Mega Value room- meaning she didn't have her own room that belonged to her. At least she is thankful that she has her bed in her space. Even though Allison knows she is not used to being with many people in the same room, especially people she doesn't know personally, she can't do anything. The room is air-conditioned, there is a TV mounted in the middle of the wall, and there are ten double bunk beds, so if you count, nineteen people can be with her in that room. There is also a standard toilet and bath.

Allison estimated that only twelve were in that room, and she was the one at the end near the door. She was also thankful because she was in the lower part of the bed and didn't have to go upstairs.

Some other passengers smiled at her, others just looked at her and ignored her, and others barely noticed her arrival because they were just focused on watching.

She puts her two bags next to her bed and a backpack, where her personal belongings are placed, such as a cell phone, wallet, a little makeup, toiletries, and food. While in the handbag she was carrying were her clothes and the swimwear Shanell had bought for her.

After that, she took out her phone to take pictures inside that room.

Even though taking pictures is okay, Allison can't help but feel shy, especially since she doesn't know the people in the room.

'Geez! Do I have to do this? To take pictures around? Damn! I'm not used to this.' Allison couldn't help but rant those words to herself, especially when she thought she had to go around the whole ship to take pictures.

After Allison took out her phone and opened it, she saw the warning notification on the screen that the battery was low and needed to be charged.

Shit! She curses herself. Why didn't I charge my phone last night before I went to bed? You're so stupid, Allison!

The Mega Value Room has a different charging line, and she has to go out to find the charging area, where she has to pay five pesos every ten minutes.

Because of that, Allison was forced to stand up and take the wallet from her bag before she finally left the room. She was annoyed with herself because she still had to charge her phone even though she wanted to rest.

She just kept walking down the hallway to find the charging area. Allison didn't pay attention to the other passengers she walked passed by because she was busy looking for five pesos inside her wallet until suddenly, something hit her right shoulder, causing her to drop her purse.
