Chapter 5 Lessons

All the members of the Logan family were sitting on the sofa in the middle of the living room with trembling hearts, they did not expect that this ethical crisis of their family was solved by Ellis Campbell, the illegitimate son of the Logan family.

Master Logan had already lost his temper once, he once again struck the ground with his cane, one by one, into the hearts of all the people, then pointed at Herbert and said in a stern voice, "Tell me, who told the media about Carolyn's incident last night?"

Herbert was frightened and hurriedly shirked his responsibility, "Grandpa, it was Julian's idea, she was angry that Carolyn threatened her with the recording."

Jason went forward and added a kick, his face was terrible, "How many times has dad said that everything we do outside must be done in the interest and decency of the Logan family, but you almost made our family the joke of the whole JIMLAND City. You are really a fool, I will beat you to death today." After saying that, Jason found a thick stick to hit Herbert, his wife's heart almost jumped to her throat, but she could not stop it, otherwise the play would be in vain.

Herbert was so scared that he held his head and kept apologizing and begging for mercy, "Dad, grandpa, I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. I swear I'll never do it again..."

Victor Logan, the old master did not say anything, Jason had to beat down one stick after another. Herbert dodged around and desperately begged for mercy. "That's enough!" Victor Logan stopped coughing and stood up on his crutches. Nick and his wife took the opportunity to run to his side to support him.

Herbert trembled like a mouse and said, "I don't dare anymore, grandpa."

After Victor Logan went upstairs, Jason's wife hurriedly held up her precious son and concerned about whether Herbert was in pain.

Jason's face was gloomy and his eyes were full of sinister, "Ellis Campbell has picked up an opportunity to show goodwill to dad for nothing. Damn it!"

In the Palmer's villa, Brendan Palmer also gave a stern lecture to his daughter Julian. They are all for the family's decency. The rich people like them love to play this game, using countless dirty tricks to maintain the family's glory, as long as the surface is bright, who cares about the darkness behind it.
