Chapter 5 Olivia pregnant

Olivia looked at the paper in her hand. She doesn't know what to say. She has been careful all through since Alexander. didn't want another complications. But with this paper in her hand now, it really have changed everything.

"Don't tell anyone about this until it is publicly announced by me." She said and left.

Everyone greeted her as she walked passed.

She answered some and zone out on the others. The people wandered what was wrong with their queen. Was she still missing her son.

Getting into the throne room, Olivia couldn't find Damien so she went to their Chambers.

Damien was trying to go through the plan of a new housing estate for the captured rogues from the war.

"Olive. You're back. Come see the plan for the kitchen. I told them to expand the space because you may not like it." Damien said to his wife as he felt her present wrap the room."

"Here" Olivia said and placed the paper on his desk.

Damien frowned and picked it up. The heading brought his attention.

"You're pregnant."

Olivia nodded. "I swear Damien. I was careful I just don't know how this happened."

Damien hugged his wife and shushed her. " We will figure it out."

Olivia nodded and stopped crying. She then looked at the plan to distract herself from the current problem. Damien kissed her on her forehead.

They discussed about the building plan instead and avoided the big news they received.

The next two weeks passed in blur. Olivia had accepted her fate and Damien has announced their next baby coming.

The whole pack were surprised and happy but Olivia know it's just a cover.

"I don't know what this one will turn out to be." Olivia said to Damien at their chamber.

"I'm sure she will be a werewolf just like you." Damien encouraged. He wasn't sure but he doesn't want to make Olivia worry too much.

"She? You think it will be a one specie kind" Olivia asked.

Damien nodded encouragingly. " Just don't stress yourself thinking too much. It's not good for the baby's health."

That night they made love passionately and Olivia felt all her worries melt away.

"We can't let you have this baby My Queen." One of the elders from the four clans of the powerful wolves linage.

"Why not Gregory? It's my child.". Olivia responded. After the news had spread like awildfiree, an autonomous meeting was called for the issue.

"With all due respect Olivia, this child is a forbidden affair. We only accepted the fact of Alexander's birth. You both sweard an oath not breed again. You broke it." The second clan leader Caleb answered.

"Well this happened unexpectedly stop attacking my wife." Damien defended Olivia.

After the session with the elders which didn't end so well. Damien gathered his soldiers and wanted to attack each other packs for bringing up an issue they had long gone solved and buried. Olivia quickly talked Damien out of it. She didn't want another fight break out between them.

Damien wasn't still satisfied. He told his soldiers to train and prepare for any unannounced attack on them.

The kingdom wasn't at peace. Everyone wasn't edge because of this announcement. One Saturday, Olivia was having a quiet session with the women'sn board for the kingdom's development.

She had discussed with the women about the new housing projectforf their prisoners.

Some of the women didn't like the idea that the rogue were going to live normal instead of in the prison camps. Olivia explained to them that they were still in captivity but are going to be a low ranked wolves in the kingdom.

After the meeting ended. Olivia asked a maid to bring her a camomile tea because she felt her nerves are unease from the constant shouting. Damien had traveled to the nearest pack for a pack meeting.

"Here is your tea my queen." The maid brought out Olivia from her deep thoughts.

Olivia took the tea from her and dismiss her. Sniffing in the aroma of the tea she started feeling a little better.

She gulp down it and quietly laid down.

A sharp pain pierced her lower abdomen. She ignored it. It came again this time so seriously.

Olivia started screaming. The pain was excruciating. It felt as though her inside were being scraped with a knife.

"Hold on my Queen. We're taking you to the infirmary." Someone said to her.

Olivia couldn't open her eyes to see who because of the pain. She wondered why the baby decided to come out so early.

"Call Damien." Olivia said.

"I'm on it . He is already on his way." Elijah said to Olivia. He was Damien's second in command. He had come back from his leave just in time to find Olivia writhing in pains.

Elijah knew that this complications wasn't ordinary so he took his time to access the area where he found her while she was taken to the infirmary.

His phone rang.

"Where's she?" Damien's voice demanded.

"The infirmary. I'm still at the scene I found her. There's a cup of tea here only."

" What's the content?"

" Camomile tea. It must be she's allergic to that." Elijah said. He couldn't trace any scent of anything else in the tea. Just camomile.

"Take it to the lab and check it out and get back to me immediately. Meanwhile, ask Jeff to increase the security and there should be a lockdown. No one leaves until Olivia is stable."

" Yes my king" Elijah answered and ended the call.

Damien bust through the infimary where his wife's Ward is.

"Your highness" Everyone in there greeted.

He rushed to Olivia's side. She was sleeping peacefully.

"What happened to her?" He asked without facing them.

" The queen was poisoned. I think it was an attempt to remove the baby." The infimary doctor, Mr Ridgewood answered.

Damien fumed inside. He was going to kill whoever did that.

"What about the baby?" He asked quietly.

There's a silence and Damien turned to look at them. There heads are bowed.

"The queen is stable but I don't know about the child. We have removed all the trace of silver we saw in her bloodstream. We don't know if it got into the child's own. So we're waiting for a sign of disturbance from the child so we can discuss the main step Your highness."

" And what's that step Ridgewood?" Damien asked.

" Umm..To flush the child?" He stammered.

Damien lurched towards him. " Don't you dare" he snarled at him. Baring his fangs at him.

Ridgewood was afraid of the vampire. "Or an early childbirth Your highness. These are the two options.". He quickly added.

Damien released him. " How long will it take before the child shows signs?"

" In the next one hour your highness."

"You said you found silver?"

Ridgewood nodded. " I think it was added to the camomile tea she took."

Damien looked at his wife and kissed her on the forehead. "She's in your care Ridgewood. Protect her. I'll be back."

He left immediately. He has to find out who did this to his wife and teach them a lesson they'll never forget.
