Chapter 9 Elias feel

Elias was shocked when he heard what Robert said. He couldn't believe Robert was from the nation that was burnt and her citizens taken into captive. He don't know the name of the nation but he heard about it and that is why Elon ruler have asked them to guard their bothers against the enemies. A nation wiped out in just one night with no single soul left in it. He can't even imagine that happening to his nation.

And what does he mean by the gods wants something from him which he is not willing to do? Elias was so curious that he has a lot of questions in his mind that needs answers. Questions Like, who wipe out the nation? What is the name of the nation? What does the gods want from the only surviver that he is not willing to do?

" That is so sad. Why will someone wipe a full nation out and take her citizens into captivity? "Elias ask after sighing countless times. He has this habit of sighing when he is at loss of words but needs answers so don't get mad at him when he sighs like a frustrated cat.

" Taste for power" Robert reply and Elias became somehow confused. Taste for power, what does that have to do with a nation being wiped out?

" What does that have to do with a nation being wiped out? " Elias ask as he focus all his attention on Robert who was looking into nothingness. His eyes looks dark and deep with a slight of burning flame in them. Deep inside those eyes is loneliness. Vengeance filled his heart as the scene of him carrying his father headless and lifeless body in his hand play in his head. The flashes of how his father was beheaded flash across his mind. Even if he was not there when the incident happened, he can still imagine it . His thought became messy and he tightened his grip around the apple in his hand.

" Taste for power. Having Dominion over other nations. Never satisfied with the power he has. Seeking for more powers and taking people into captive as slaves. Always want to be the superior. That is taste for power" Robert said with a deep cold masculine voice without battling an eyelid. Elias shuddered and flinch at the the deep cold voice that sounds like the voice of a demon. Elias got lost in Robert voice Midway that he didn't even hear Robert last three sentences.

" What is the name of your nation" Elias asked after he composed himself. He wants to know that nation that was wiped out in one night and where the cold Robert comes from.

"Jingle nation. A nation who was ruled by my father sir Louis for the past decades" Robert said and Elias was shocked. His mother is sir Louis half sister and got married to Arthur of Elon nation where she had him and that basically means he is Robert half cousin.

" You mean sir Louis the ruler of jingle nation is your father?" Elias ask to be sure of what he heard.

" Yes. Is anything wrong with that?" Robert reply with his own question and Elias don't even know how to react. He don't Know if he should stand up and jump around or act as if he doesn't care.

" No no no no! Nothing is wrong with it, I just want to sure I heard you well" Elias with a smile on his face. He said it, Robert think differently from others.

"I'm sure you heard well now and why are you grinning like a ..?" Robert asked and swallow the other word when he saw Elias grinning from ear to ear which is unlike him.

" What! Am I grinning? I'm just happy I found a relative" Elias said and Robert raise his brows up slightly.

' what did he mean by he found a relative?' he asked himself silently.

" Did you find a relative when you went out today?" Robert ask as he put a log of wood in the fire .

" No you are my relative" Elias reply with a sigh. He know he will have to explain everything to Robert. He never thought he will find a relative in this lifetime, except he got married and have kids then they will be his relative and family since his mother and father has already passed away.

" I don't understand. We barely know each other, so how did we end up as relatives all of a sudden?" Robert asked as he felt like Elias is talking rubbish. Maybe he might have eaten too much of wild fruits and he now take strangers as relatives.

" Yes we barely know each other but we are somehow related" Elias reply as he didn't know where to start from.

" I will take that as the result of the wild fruits you ate, so you are acting wild and weird. " Robert reply and took another apple from the bag. Since there is nothing good to eat,he just have to eat the wild fruits as well.

" No wait I'm serious. It's not the result of the wild fruits and beside I have been eating wild fruits for years. So don't think I'm saying this because I ate too much of wild fruits" Elias reply almost immediately. He really don't feel good when Robert said he is referring to him as a relative because of the wild fruits he ate. He has been eating wild fruits since he lost his mother and no one has ever told him he is acting weird because of the wild fruits he eats. Besides, it's the wild fruits that sharpen his mind.
