Chapter 4 Picture of rose!

Don't care, if you don't" I replied again and was about walking out.

He grabbed me and pushed me to the wall.

"How dare you? his eyes were red.

" How dare you talk back at me? He said.

"I... I " I couldn't look him straight in the eyes..

He was just so intimidating.

But why? Not that I was afraid of him, there was something else.... I didn't understand what that was...

But I wouldn't allow him intimidate me, I look back at his eyes.

Which was extremely beautiful.

"You can't be so rude to me, I've done nothing wrong to you" I said.

"Just leave" he said, walking back to his chair.....

Her, eyes, her hair, everything reminded me of rose.

My phone ranged, it was Karl.

There was work at the company,

A new project had been signed, I had to go back to work.

I had to!

I had quit work at the company for two years.

Letting uncle Davis, take charge of the company's affair.

I was tired and weak, maybe the company could take my mind of things for a while....

I walked out, still figuring out why he hated me.

I wondered if I had done anything wrong to him.

It hurt ....I didn't know why.....

Like when you did something and you get yelled out!

Like when you did something and didn't achieve anything at the end!

A terrible and mood swing.

All your problems heaped into one, like a big heavy burden, feels like being underwater and not being able to breath.

It was extremely weird,that I felt like this whenever he yelled at me,it was!

I walked towards the living room, but ruby stopped me..

We both went to her room, after much persuasion.

Her room was beautifully decorated, with pink designs and lovely pictures.

It was really so cute!

"You are really beautiful" she said.

"Thank you" I replied.

I complimented her looks too, she was way more prettier,her hair rolled up in the latest fashion and her bright eyes and fair skin.

"You have a boyfriend? She asked.

" I don't" I replied.

" Aww, you are so so cute not to have one" she replied.

" I know,I get that a lot" I smiled.

"That's good,my brothers like you already"

She was not making plans for ........

"Your brother Skyler........."

"You like Skyler? She cut me off.

" No I don't" I replied quickly.

There was no way...I would ever like him!

" Uhmm" she replied.

" He's always so rude to me,I don't get it" I replied.

" Maybe he see's her in you" she replied.

" Who? I asked.

"Rose" she replied.

"Who's she? I asked.

" His fiance,they were about to get married"

" What happened?I asked

"She died, and he had been like that ever since" she replied.

"Grieving silently, he's so incomplete without her" she added.

"What really happened to her? I asked.

" She had an accident, a she fell off a cliff" she replied.

" Seeing me, must be so hard on him" I replied.

He wasn't that bad,he wasn't angry at me,he was angry I was reminding him of someone he loved so much.

It was torture!

" I would stop going in front of him"

" You should" she replied,I was shocked.

" He needs to forget about her, and you could help...."

" Help?, your brother would kill me,he doesn't want to see me..."

" He will get used to seeing you" she replied.

I didn't know where she was driving at.

But it wasn't going to work!

I won't be seen near him, I wouldn't go to his room ever!

But deep down,I was touched,I wanted him to heal..

Rose too would have wanted that for him, she would have wanted him to be happy.

Some humans needed to heal, everyone had their own troubles.

Some could heal, with time and determination.... others needed help.

Someone to help them heal.

I stood in the kitchen,after the little conversation with ruby.

The main door opened and a man walked in..

He should be in his forties,clean shaven and well dressed.

He frozed, when he saw me,he was shaking I observed.

"Are you okay? I asked..

I was used to it already,them all thinking I looked like rose.

" She's not rose, uncle" skyler walked down the stairs.

He hadn't taken down the handkerchief,I had tied up for him.

I was careful not to stare at it, I knew if he got me staring,he Could fling it away.

"Let's go upstairs uncle" he said leading the way.

The man looked at me,he was obviously shaken with fear.

SKYLER

"Uncle, the files of the deals and investment? I asked and he gave me,with shaky hands.

" Who's... who's she? He asked

" Daisy" I replied, taking a look through the files.

" She looks a lot like rose" he said.

" She's not rose, and she's not a ghost, no need to be scared" I replied.

" But she.....

"I don't want to talk about her,I don't want to.." I glared at him.

Opening up the files,I couldn't concentrate,her face popped in my head.

I couldn't concentrate.

I was angry at the files,at her ,my uncle and everything.

I kept the files and sipped chilled alcohol.

"I will review it later,tell me about the latest plan of the company" I said, and listened as he talked.

DAISY.

walking around the house, with Chris,I was unusually quiet.

He noticed it....

"What's wrong? He asked.

" Can you show me a picture go f rose? I asked.

He stopped....

"Why? He asked.

" I just wanted to see her" I said.

" Come with me" he said, and I followed,my hear beating wildly.

He walked to the store room, and I followed.

There was a lot of picture and art works.

"Here" he said stopping in front of a picture which was covered.

He removed the wraps, and there it was!
