Chapter 4 A little Help From My Bestie

"You don't look like someone having a headache," Erica asked looking carefully at her.

"You hiding something so spill it out" she added "it's nothing I can handle stuff by myself but will need you to join me in the evening when am going out"

Kiara informed her and looked at her "Ummm... if only I will be free at the time you gonna leave" Erica answered getting up from the sofa ...

Erica playfully suggests that Kiara give her a massage instead, but Kiara declines, saying she's not a therapist.

Despite the teasing, they both know they can count on each other for a little help when needed.

Erica stood there laughing because she knew Kiara was going to give her a cheeky answer at the end.

she walk out of the study room also and joined Kiara at the dining table who was already having her meal. " how far with you and your family issues"

Erica suddenly breaks the silence after having a fill " As usual.. mom is pressuring me and it annoying me to the core. I just hate everything right now and I don't think I will like to see my mom else she gonna give me lots of headaches" ...

she replied putting some food into her mouth "why don't you tell your mom not to raise that issue again beside you ain't even dating and talkless of it you don't even believe in love so what's the point"

Erica said "hah... I wonder if there's someone who can break your cold heart and get you doing things you ain't supposed to do all in the name of love"

she added and giggled "Erica so you can say this to my face," Kiara asked her with a smile on her face " And who are you? I can say whatever I want to your face"...

she retorted then Kiara glanced at her and started laughing " oh you've known me too well so now you ain't scared of me anymore huh"

Kiara said with amusement " And who said am scared of you in the first place? you can make your face like a volcano going to erupt but I will still not get scared of you because those faces won't do anything to me" Erica added and both of them laughed.

"I forgot you've known me since high school so how can you be scared of me now" Kiara replied and stood up from the table " Gonna get some shower wanna join me," she asked her and Erica nodded.

Both of them went to Kiara's room and had a quick shower and returned to the living room to continue their chat.

later in the evening, Kiara got prepared and ready to go back to the bar.

she sat in one of her cars waiting for Erica to join her so that they can leave but Erica kept herself indoors still dressing... She, later on, came out of the room and joined Kiara who was already outside waiting for her " sorry I kept you waiting" she apologize immediately she sat in the car " Why, are you going to show yourself at the bar that why you kept yourself in the room dressing up?"

Kiara teases her and started the engine of the car " oh please... do you think am like you?" Erica asked her and laughed " You such a bitch with no sense trust me" Kiara replied and increase her speed " why drive so fast.

Do you want me to give you a heart attack?" Erica screamed out because of the speed Kiara was driving with " You gonna kill me if you don't slow down young lady..." Erica scolded but Kiara ignored her and kept driving.

she knew Erica doesn't like it when she drives at top speed so she intentionally drove fast to see how she would react to it...

" you look cute anytime you look like this" Kiara teases her again then Erica hits her hard on the shoulder " I hate you " she yelled at Kiara " I know hun... then am gonna kill you at this moment," she said with a smirked on her face.

As soon as she said those words to her, she increased her speed again and Erica started screaming out of the car

"I'm gonna die if someone doesn't rescue me from this bitch"

Kiara started laughing and teased her at the same time "I hate you so much" Erica yelled at her again " I love you babydoll"...

within a few minutes later, they arrived at the bar and Kiara reduced the speed before parking the car outside " I will never go out with you again... gosh you almost killed me with that speed of yours" Erica exclaimed after getting out of the car.

she looked around the environment they were in and wondered if that was the place Kiara got drunk at last night.

" No wait is this the place you got drunk yesterday?" she asked her looking amazed " yeah. cool right," she asked her " hell no... I wouldn't come here in the first place if I had known the place is like this," she said, " why?"

Kiara asked again "it's too local" she spilled out "Well... I won't bring you here next time so please just manage for today" Kiara replied and led the way to the bar and Erica followed from behind...
