Chapter 3 Disgust And Hatred

I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I smiled. "Really? He's good?"

They started to get dressed, and I felt a little relief.

"Are you two done?"

"Yes, Mom. If only you'd seen it. Damn, Noah is getting better-"

"Of course he is, sweetie. My secretary is on leave, and we only have one maid here...." That was me. "I decided to bring Celeste to the party," Jade continued.

At this moment, I turned to Noah to see his reaction.

"Why? What if people will recognize-"

"Of course, they will. She was once the daughter of a well-known tycoon. If ever they ask why she just showed up this time, let's tell them that she studied and works abroad and just wanted a low-key life."

I wanted to laugh at that thought.

"Just go. I don't belong to the outside world. This is my world, and I should only stay here."

"Enough. I need her. We will be staying there for three days."

"What?" It's Noah again. "But bringing her will create a scene-"

"I disagree with this. What if she escapes?"

I frowned and waited for Jade's reply.

"Just bring cuffs and gags. If she does reckless things, we will tie her in our suite," Jade replied, then she turned to me. "Fixed your things, and you must do something with your bruises on the face."

Is she joking?

"I don't know how to use makeup, so I don't have one."

"I could help!" Liza uttered.

Jade just smiled at her soon-to-be daughter-in-law. She arched her brow and let out a devilish chuckle. "Oh, stupid me. Well, just get dressed-"

"I'm afraid I don't have a dress that suits me for a party," I cut in. And I breathed in relief when she didn't point to that. If so, her palm will land on my cheek again.

When I glanced at Liza, she rolled her eyes at me and lingered her arms into Noah's. "Just take a shower. After that, go to our room," Liza said and turned to Jade, "Leave her to me, Mom. I'll handle this bitch," she added.

Jade smiled widely and even clapped her hands like an idiot. "Oh, you're a savior, Liza," Jade uttered and turned to meet my gaze, "Do what Liza said, understood?"

I nodded and arched my brow when I met Noah's stare.

"Don't even think of escaping, woman," he warned.

After that, the three demons left.
