Chapter 6 A surprise

The Kidnap

Becca and Alan sat together in the cozy room, their conversations flowing effortlessly as they delved into discussions about their lives and aspirations. The air was filled with an undeniable sense of comfort and intimacy.

Feeling a pang of concern for Alan's well-being, Becca couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you hungry or something?" Her voice was laced with genuine care, wanting to ensure he was taking care of himself.

Alan chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "No, unless you want to cook me something?" he replied playfully, enjoying their banter.

Becca laughed softly, her laughter filling the room with warmth. "Alan, you are hungry... I will go cook something then," she said, a gentle smile gracing her lips. She stood up, patting his shoulder affectionately before making her way towards the kitchen.

As Becca left the room, Alan couldn't help but watch her retreating figure with a smile. His eyes traced her every movement, captivated by her beauty and grace. In that moment, he couldn't help but reflect on how fortunate he was to have her in his life.

As Becca made her way to the kitchen, she was stopped by some of the maids, "Ma'am is there any way I can help you?" one of them asked her and she chuckled, shaking her head lowly.

"No, everything is fine. I want to make breakfast for that handsome man over there." She giggled as she tapped the maid's shoulder before she walked away.

The sun spilled through the windows, casting a warm glow on the cozy kitchen. Becca took a moment to breathe in the tranquility of the morning before setting to work. She pulled out ingredients, pots, and pans, humming softly to herself as she prepared a delightful feast.

The maids around stood to watch her with smiles on their faces.

As the aroma of sizzling bacon filled the air, Becca couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. Alan had been through so much lately, his dad work has kept him up and she wanted to show him how much she cared. She imagined his smile when he walked into the kitchen and delight in his eyes to see she was gonna make him something herself.

With the breakfast almost ready, Becca heard the sound of footsteps approaching from the living room. Her heart fluttered with anticipation as she continued stirring the scrambled eggs.

Just as she was about to pour the eggs onto a plate, she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist. Startled, she let out a small gasp, but relaxed as she recognized Alan's touch. He nuzzled his face into her neck and planted a soft kiss, making her melt into his embrace.

"Beautiful, what are you making" Alan whispered, his voice filled with affection. "I can't resist getting up to such an irresistible scent."

Becca turned around, a wide grin spreading across her face. "Well, I told you to wait in the living room, it's a surprise for you," she said playfully, holding up a plate piled high with golden bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and perfectly toasted bread.

Alan's eyes widened, his smile growing even wider. "You spoil me, Becca," he chuckled, pulling her closer for another tender kiss on her lips.

As they pulled away, she crossed her hands around his neck, "I haven't had something as good as this for days now." He chuckled

"Been taking more of coffee isn't it?" she giggled and he nods his head.

They settled into the dining area, their breakfast spread out between them. They laughed and shared stories from their week, savoring each bite of the delicious meal Becca had prepared. The clinking sound of cutlery against plates filled the air as they savored this simple but meaningful moment together.

Between mouthfuls of food, Alan couldn't help but express his gratitude. "Becca, you truly have a gift for turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. This breakfast is a testament to your love and care."

Blushing slightly, Becca reached out and held Alan's hand across the table. "It's my pleasure to do things for you, Alan," she replied softly. "You deserve all the happiness and warmth in the world."

They continued to share their dreams, aspirations, and plans for the day, reveling in the simple joy of being together. The breakfast table became not just a place for nourishment but a space for connection and deeper understanding.

As they finished their meal, Becca leaned back in her chair, feeling contentment wash over her. The memory of Kai's request lingered in the back of her mind, but she knew that moments like this, shared with the person she loved, were what truly mattered.

With hearts full and bellies satisfied, Becca and Alan cleaned up the remnants of their breakfast, tackling the chores side by side

"Where are you going after now?" he asked her and she took her lower lip into her mouth to bite.

"Uhm, home..... dad.... I don't really know yet, what about you?" she replied and he sighed

"Dad needs me." He replied and she nods her head slowly

"It's fine, you should be going." She replied

"I want to spend more time with you, honestly." He replied and she giggled

"You will, just go and once you are done, you can come again." She shrugged and he walked to her to cup her cheeks.

"I promise you, I would be back for you this evening, make sure you are home okay?" he replied and kissed her lips gently before she could reply.

As he pulled away, Becca smiled at him and replied, "Yeah, don't keep me waiting."

With that being said, Alan released a heavy sigh "I should be going now then." He said and she nods her head and followed him to the door.

"My regards to your father."

"He couldn't make it, sorry about that. Dad wanted to see you too. And, I will tell him." She replied and he smiles at her

"Thanks, bye for now my love."

"Yeah, I will be joining my dad later on..."

Alan nods his head and walked to her to place one last kiss on her forehead, his plans are never to go to his dad company but something else and it is a huge surprise for Becca.
