I moved away from my desk in the leather swivel chair I sat in and bent toward the intercom. "My office. Now." A new secretary was just hired and I was yet to learn her name and memorize it. In a few seconds, the door of my office had swung open.
"You called for me, sir?" A small but firm voice stated, making me look up. The first thing I noticed was that she was dressed decently. Good. It showed that her job was important to her. If she ever tried to misstep, I would fire her in one go. But for now, she was doing fine.
"Yes," I affirmed, running my fingers into my hair. "I need to know what else is on my schedule for the rest of the week. I need to make sure I clear all the important things before next week."
"Yes, of course, sir," she said quickly, efficiently pulling up the tablet she held in her hand and began to scroll through. "A meeting with the board is set for this afternoon and-"
"Move that to Thursday," I cut in. The board could wait. Being the CEO and the owner of Tate Enterprises came with its perks. I had more urgent appointments today, and besides there weren't any major issues to discuss at the meeting. Business was flourishing. In fact, business had been flourishing ever since I acquired the company. I had always been an independent person. Not once did I wish to live lavishly on wealth I did not work for. As soon as I was of age, I began to work. As soon as I gained enough, I moved out of the family mansion. Years later I am now one of the top businessmen in the country with an impeccable reputation. I didn't earn my wealth with my family name or money. It was all me, building from scratch, through the struggles. And it paid off in the end.
When I was stable, I offered my father a deal. I bought the company from him and turned it into an enterprise. And that was something I would never regret. I loved my job and I planned to do even more than I already had. And so far, I was loving it.
"What else?" I turned to the secretary.
"Um..." she trailed off, scrolling through. "Yes. That popular news channel requested a TV interview with you. Would you like to go ahead with it?"
I thought about it. It wouldn't be my first time appearing on live television. The media wasted no time when it came to things like that. But I had no time for it today. "Keep it on hold for now. I'll think about it. Anything else?"
"No, sir."
I nodded. Good. Now all I had to do was finish up with the emails I was sending and head down to my appointment. "Fine. You can leave," I waved her away. "Wait. What's your name, again?"
"Cecile," she replied. It seemed like a very forgettable name. But nevertheless, I would try my best. Flicking my hand in a final wave, I turned back to my computer and continued to scroll. A few minutes later, I was done replying to the emails and discussing meeting points and times. Finally, I was ready to go. As I stood from the swivel chair and straightened my jacket, the buzzing of my phone in my jacket came to my attention.
Sighing, I took out the device and reluctantly swiped right to accept. "Dad. What a surprise," I said into speaker. That wasn't true. I was expecting him to call soon. His birthday was only a few days away and he would want me to be there.
"How are you doing, son?" I heard his gritty voice say. "How is business?"
"Great, as usual. Nothing new. Is everything okay?"
He chuckled and then paused. "I only called to remind you about next week. I'm celebrating my 69th birthday. Surely, you remember. I would like you to be there. It would be nice to catch up with you. Your siblings will be there too."
There were a million things I'd rather be doing. But I couldn't tell him that. So instead I said, "Yes sure, I remember. I'll be there."
"That's my boy."
A short silence followed. My conversations with my father were always like this. After the usual pleasantries and the stated reason for the conversation, we had nothing more to talk about. I held no grudge against him, but after what happened years ago, we had slowly begun to drift apart. That mistake he had made had cost a lot of things, including our closeness. And it was something I would never forgive him for.
"I trust that you're not working yourself to the bone like before?" He asked again. I pinched the bridge of my nose in irritation, already knowing what he was going to say next. "You need personal time. Time to relax and meet nice girls. You're not getting any younger, you know."
And this right here was the reason why I was hiring an escort to join me for the birthday celebration and pose as my girlfriend. If he thinks that I am actually dating, he would get off my back. I was just going to feed him with what he wanted to see and hear. Then he would finally leave me alone.
"Ahh, I know that silence. But you know I'm right," he was saying. "All your siblings are married and settled down. It's your turn. You need a companion to complete you."
I rolled my eyes, sucking in a deep breath. "Can we talk about this later? I have business to attend to."
"Fine. But this isn't over. Go on, I'll talk to you later."
Without bading him goodbye, I hung up and tossed my phone back into my jacket. It was the same old thing each time. I couldn't wait to get this boring event out of the way so I could go back to normal again. It was bringing too much pressure and too many phone calls. Sighing, I arranged the files on my desk and tossed them into a drawer.
I checked the time. I had an appointment at the escort house in a few hours where I would get to meet the girl who was going to be posing as my girlfriend for the event. And I had nothing else to do at the office. I thought for a few seconds and then I took out my phone to dial Paolo. He was a close friend of mine who offered me girls to sleep with whenever I was in the mood. All I had to do was leave a hefty tip. I could use that right now. Today had been hell; work since morning and then the call with my father. It was all putting me in a bad mood.
Paolo picked up on the first ring and I whispered to him what I needed. He hung up when I was done and a few seconds later he sent me an address. It was a popular hotel not far from my office, so it wouldn't be a problem getting there. After that, I would head out for my appointment.
"Keep me updated," I said to my personal secretary as I walked out of the office. She quickly stood and nodded. I saw employees who were working and discussing suddenly pipe down as I walked past. Good. They're lucky I didn't catch any of them. I absolutely hated employees who were more interested in gossip than work. That was why there was a break for lunch. During that time they were free to discuss anything. But definitely not during work hours. The next person I caught would be heading straight home.
I ignored all their greetings and made my way outside. My car was already waiting outside. I hopped in and inputted the address Paolo had forwarded to me.
Ten minutes later, I arrived at the hotel. The room number was attached to the message so I slowly made my way there. The suite was spacious and colorfully lit. I could already see a young woman seated at the foot of the bed. She was clad in a red, silk robe and her blonde hair fell over her shoulder.
I felt the familiar rush of hunger, as she slipped out of the robe to reveal a luscious, curvy body. I tore off my jacket and pulled her forward with no time to waste. I didn't like to prolong this any further than it should be. It was simple. I just wanted a quick fuck.
Once she was fully undressed, I placed her on the bed, digging my fingers into her and spreading her wide. Wide enough to accommodate my strained cock. Once I was in, I began to take fast thrusts, fucking her hard until she began to scream in pleasure.
