Chapter 5 THE BULLYING

Sophie's joy about making a connection was still making her feel great.She was always in a very happy mood and really hoped for her crush to ask her out.Her joy was short-lived when she arrived at school feeling all happy.on reaching her locker,it had been vandalized with mean messages and graffiti.She immediately realized it was the cruel girls she had encountered in the hall way that were behind the bullying.Sophie felt overwhelmed and scared but deep down she knew she had to face them.She gathered courage,walked upto them and confronted them.

At first the girls were surprised because they knew her to be timid and easily let things go .They tried to brush it off and make fun of her but Sophie stood firm and told them that their actions were hurtful and wrong.They felt embarrassed and were quiet till the end of school that day.Meanwhile,Sophie started to earn the respect of her peers who admired her for standing up for herself.After some passed few weeks,the set of mean girls reached out to Sophie and apologized to her and she also forgave them instantly and they became close friends from that day on and it made her really famous in the whole school.
