Chapter 2 Taking life as it is

Stephanie had met Dave during her internship at Babcock company, Dave helped Stephanie get settled during her internship he took lots of efforts in showing her arround with ease . Stephanie had thought so much about her settling down and yes she was grateful that Dave helped her in settling down all thanks to him her first day wasn't such a bad day she concluded on her way home , she decided to visit her friend rose At her coffee shop and get a cup for herself. Rose had been her friend from high school and yes rose was more than just a friend she was her sister .

Rose didn't go to college because she had no interest in school and found it rather boring she ventured into coffee making and here she was happily married with kids , Stephanie stood by the door watching her dear friend passionately making coffee for her customers she was so sorry to abruptly cut her peace short she walked over to rose and brought her back to reality , rose was so surprised to see her on workdays because Stephanie always visited during weekends . Rose smiled and gave one of the waiters the coffee tray and took a sit with her friend who had turned her sister , they chatted lightly and Stephanie sipped her coffee talking about her day at her internship office . Rose teased Stephanie about Dave and how she had fell for him stephanie stared wondering whether it could be true but she believed it was far from the truth she just laughed it off . Stephanie was so sorry to go home too soon she bided her friend goodbye and drifted away lost in thoughts she got home hung her jackets and showered , Stephanie thought about Dave kindness and she finally concluded to Avoid all this unhealthy thoughts she got out from the shower changed swiftly to her nighties she made popcorn next and settled on a classic movie . Her thoughts suddenly drove her to her mother , if only she was alive today it would be fun . Her mother had passed away 6 months back due to cancer her dad also died 3 years back during one of his work routine at the army she was left with only herself and she missed her mother so much Thursday nights like this was her mother's favorite night as they will both watch classical movies and drink and drive into the night with so much enthusiasm she felt lonely soon enough she shoved the thoughts aside and yes sleep finally came .
