Chapter 2 Disappointed

Calvin was emotionally worried for his son's health.

Sunil... His wife only amplified the entire truama.

How could she humiliate and hurt him?

Obviously a punch from him would have silenced her for good, but he held his pain.

"My mother warned me about marrying you but I disobeyed her and brought myself really down to make myself cheap to marry an ungrateful bastard like you! If not for your good looks and skin pleasure... I never really loved you." She confesses to Calvin.

"You are being so heartless, don't you even care about Austin's life?" He added

"Don't look at me with those eyes!" She warns.

"You threw my things out Sunil, this has been your plan all along! you're a really wicked and heartless mother." Calvin said without Caring about how she felt at all.

He wanted it to hurt her! like he felt inside.

"It seems like you don't know who you are insulting, I will make you suffer! how dare you say such nonsense to me!" She shouts before she spat over him and Calvin laughs in frustration.

"You deserve all the insults you got!" Calvin said as their drama began to attract attention.

"It is not my fault that I married a nobody! a useless poor man!" Sunil abuses him.

"oh really?" He asked back..

"Throwing your things out is a joke, our marriage is broken henceforth and you will sign the divorce papers!" She fires, shocking Calvin, he still had feelings for the goblin he called a wife.

"Seriously... So now you want to break up! You want to scatter our family, you want a divorce right." He asked back as his eyes watered.

"I don't care... If you want a divorce...Sure! I will sign your divorce when Austin is fine." Calvin said before he turned away from her, walking out of the place.

"This isn't the firsts time kids die" She said from behind him Calvin was surprised with shock.

She just literally expressed her wickedness.

"You're a selfish, lost mother!" Calvin fires back.

"Austin is your son, isn't it?" He asked, turning back to see her looking at him, up and down mockingly.

"I really distaste poor idiots!" She abuses him.

Calvin controlled his ruthlessness.

"I don't think you're mentally stable now... Because your selfishness has ruined our home! I gave you money every fucking week for Austin's health and you ate every penny I worked for, till my boy is now suffering and struggling with Cancer... it won't go well with you!" Calvin curses in pain.

"The least you can do is to take care of Austin now!" Calvin said he leaves the hospital.

Being an assassin in his past lifestyle allowed him some contacts that could help raise the money so he decided to call his best friend.

"Hello Andrew." He said trying to sound okay.

"This one you called today, I hope all is well?" Andrew asked Calvin whose eyes were now really reddened due to the amount of pain he was going through.

"There's fire on my head man! My son was diagnosed with Cancer, I need you to please lend me some cash, I promise to pay back.." Calvin said to him as he prayed.

"What bill was tagged to his treatment?" Andrew asked Calvin who feared to call the actual amount.

"They said..." He said.

"They asked for half a million!" He rushes his words.

"Damn! That's a lot." Andrew exclaims.

"Andrew! I know you and what you are capable of, that's why I called, I am ready to do anything to save my son, just help me." Calvin pleased.

"You would do anything I tell you?" Andrew said.

"You can use me as you wish, please." He begged.

"I have these smooth deal for you and you can get commissioned 750,000 dollars to do some transport work." Andrew said to him and Calvin's eyes opened widely as he waited for his next words.

"Come over first, we can't discuss over the phone." Andrew said whilst Calvin stormed into his apartment, trying to catch on his breath.

"Have some water." Andrew gave him a glass me

"Give me information Andrew, my child's life is in high danger now?" Calvin asked, waiting.

"It's an illicit transport work, if you can deliver this box to the mafia in the state's central city, he will pay you $750,000 dollars for it, at least the hospital can commence treating your child." he said to him as Calvin grabbed the box of cocaine.

"I would be here waiting on the recovery of your child, and watch out too, the said location is a lonely town." He replies to him.

"Sure! so What is in this box?" He asked.

"It is a box full of Cocainenium." He said to Calvin as He turned back facing him, to see Calvin's hand shaking, the content of the box was worth billions.

"What? Are you scared?" Andrew asked.

"Andrew, this deal is worth billions, why is my share less than a million dollars?" He asked.

"I guess you aren't interested." Andrew said, attempting to collect the box.

"I guess you want your son dead?" Andrew asked him back as Calvin punched the table.

He knew he had been cheated but getting the sum of $750,000 dollars was worth it.

"I don't want my son dead." Calvin says back to a Mr. Andrew who now carries an evil smile.

"Good! Then go for it!" Andrew initiates Calvin.

Calvin's panic immediately vanished as confidence engulfed his liver and bones... He would rather die than to fail his son at the hospital.

"Where's the place?" Calvin asked as he equipped himself with a gun for his protection.

"Head to the central city arena, you will be found by the Scottish and Russian Mafia's there."

Calvin knew Mr. Andrew wasn't worth believing in because he showed him characters that proved he wasn't in his favour, but he was ready to still risk his life for his dying child.

Calvin was up to place his life on the table.

Without anything hindering him, he opened the entrance door and ran off from his friend's apartment with the box held tightly to himself.

He kept running straight headed by Foot to the central city Arena... He had no cash and no vehicle to ensure his activity was fast but he wasn't a weak man so he ran further non stop to the place.

Good thing Calvin was a fast runner and full of fuel to ensure his son doesn't die.

Calvin rushed with his hair jiggling from left to right as he recalled all the hardship he went through as tears skipped through his eyes too.

He knew Austin's life rested on his strength.
