"What the what now?" Veronica asked him.
"Did he say something?". Abby asked, folding her arms.
"I bet he did". Veronica replied.
"Let's go, leave the freak alone". Blake murmured uninterested.
He turned and was about to leave but bumped into a girl, one of their classmates precisely.
Her books dropped.
"The fuck's wrong with you huh? Are you blind?!". He yelled at her, startling her.
"I...I...I'm sorry...I...I.. didn't see you". She stammered out of fear.
"Go clean your glasses then". He pushed her roughly out of his way and she fell to the floor.
Her glasses cracked.
She took them off and rubbed her eyes which were now becoming misty.
"What's up Clark Kent? Omigosh are you crying?". Abby asked in a mocking tone.
"It...it's Emily Kent". The student replied innocently, sniffing in.
"What's wrong crybaby? Did he hurt you?". Veronica asked with a pout.
Emily Kent ignored them while she tried to examine her cracked glasses with her hands as she couldn't see well without them.
"Don't ignore her...she's talking to you bitch!". Abby suddenly grabbed her hair and yanked her up, making her wince in pain.
"No... please...I'm sorry...just leave me alone". Emily cried.
"She said to leave her alone, let her go, it's not like she did anything wrong...He was the one who bumped into her and he's supposed to apologize". Bobby blurted out in her aid, pointing at Blake.
Abby and Veronica bursted out laughing.
"Look who's tryna play the hero". Abby scoffed and clapped her hands, letting go of the innocent girl.
"Bravo..bravo".
"What did you say?". Blake asked, inching closer to him.
"You bumped into her". Bobby replied nonchalantly, earning a scoff from him.
"Motherf*cker! How dare you?!". He grabbed his collar tightly and glared back at his face.
"You're a newbie so I'll just let this slide like nothing happened...you should know better than to mess with me".
He released his grip on him and stuffed his hands in his pockets then walked away.
"We're not done yet!". Abby casted him a threatening look and ran after Blake. Veronica also followed.
"Thank you for standing up for me". The girl who got her glasses cracked said timidly as she lowered her head in front of Bobby.
"You're the transfer student right? I'm Emily Kent".
"I'm Bobby". He murmured and left to avoid further discussions.
"You..." Her voice trailed off when she heard his footsteps heading away from her direction.
"You can have my lunch". She finished her statement when he was gone and sighed.

Bobby entered into history class and walked to his seat.
He stopped in his tracks when he was halfway there and looked towards Abby's.
The empty seat she had kept from him was no longer empty and on it sat the owner of it.
Their so called dead class monitor.
Stephanie Myers was trying to communicate with Abby but the latter didn't seem to hear her nor see her.
Then she looked around the class and finally her gaze met his.
He quickly looked away, pretending not to have seen her, then proceeded to his seat.
The history teacher walked in.
He sat down with a deep breath and stole a glance at Abby's direction.
Stephanie was no longer beside her.
He squinted his eyes and shook his head off the thought that he saw something like that.
He looked again to verify her absence and he sighed in relief.
"I'm imagining things". He murmured.
"Are you looking for me?". A voice asked all of a sudden, startling him and he turned to the direction it came from.
There, beside him stood Stephanie Myers, in her white flowing gown.
He fell off his chair with a short scream.
Everyone turned to look him, even the history teacher diverted his attention to him.
"So, you can see me?". Her pale face lit up a little and she smiled.
"Are you alright?". The history teacher asked while he shook his head.
He actually shook his head replying to Stephanie's ghost but the teacher thought he was replying him.
"No..I can't...I can't see you". He said quickly.
"You can't see me?". The history teacher asked.
"I'm sorry...I wasn't talking to you...I was talking to h..." He didn't finish his statement as soon as he remembered he was the only one who could see her.
"I was talking to...her". He pointed randomly at anyone in class.
Emily Kent scrunched up her face in confusion as his finger pointed at her.
"Get up and sit right". The history teacher ordered.
"Oh c'mon... don't lie to me, you can see me right?". Stephanie persisted.
"Shut up and leave me alone!" He yelled.
The whole class gasped.
He looked around and they stared at him with scorn....he then realized what happened.
"No...no..no....I wasn't talking to you sir". He quickly apologized to the teacher who was becoming furious.
"Behave yourself or you're gonna end up in detention young man". The history teacher said.
"Look at me! Look at me...hey...you can see me...I know you can see me...". Stephanie was like a pest, waving frantically at him.
"I said shut up!!". He yelled, hitting his palm on his desk.
The class went dead quiet.
"That's it... detention now!!". The history teacher ordered angrily.
"You're ordering your teacher to shut up...what kind of manners? Is that why you were transferred from your former school?".
"I'm really sorry sir...but I wasn't talking to you, please believe me...I wouldn't dare talk to you in that manner". Bobby pleaded.
"Just leave the class". The teacher muttered.
"Answer me Bobby Adams!". Stephanie ordered with folded arms.
"Go to hell!". He clenched his fist.
There was a coupla snickers everywhere in the class.
"No! I wasn't talking to you sir". Bobby stood up and tried to defend himself.
"Come with me to my office... this class is over!". The history teacher said amid gritted teeth as he stormed out of the class.
Bobby fell back to his seat and exhaled deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"Thanks for ruining my day". He murmured.
"I knew it! You can see me". Stephanie sounded excited.
The rest of the students stared at Bobby with puzzled looks and bewilderment.
