Christopher – It's Blanca, isn't it? – She nodded – So Ms. Blanca, a few days ago I had a slight accident and it was her daughter who helped me and I didn't even have the opportunity to thank her

Blanca – I thank you for you, you know what it is? Her husband is very jealous and may not understand you here, I warned him

I could be crazy, but in my eyes that woman was wanting me to go away. I felt my cell phone ring again and it was my mother this time, I ignored the call and continued to reception.

Christopher – Speaking of her husband, where is the guy? She was found in an attic, ma'am, what husband leaves his wife in an attic?

Blanca – It was for protection, they just arrived in the country. Anyway, she'll be fine, thanks for bringing her - If she fired

Christopher – Make yourself comfortable! I will stay here until the baby is born

Blanca – It should take a while, don't you want to go later?

Christopher – I have nothing important to do – I sat down

I stayed there for two hours and no news came from the girl, her mother went up to the hospital and again my cell phone started ringing, only this time it was Ivan, Sebastian's son and that's when I remembered the real reason I came to the country. I went to the hospital where Sebastian was and really, his case wasn't even because of the surgery, but a case of Alzheimer's and because of that he remembers certain things and not others

Right after resolving the matter, I went back to the hospital where Luísa was hospitalized, at that moment I thought I already had her little princess in my arms, but Blanca, her mother said that unfortunately the girl had died, because the umbilical cord was wrapped on the baby's neck

Christopher – It's not possible - I put my hands over my face - That was my fear, due to the amount of blood, I was afraid of exactly that

Blanca – She was in labor for a long time and when the baby was born, she was already born purple with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck

Christopher – I want to see Luísa, I need to thank her in some way and also say that she can count on me for whatever she needs

Her mother hesitated a bit, however, she let me see Luísa. She was still sleeping, she certainly had no idea what had happened and I wanted to be by her side at this very delicate moment.

I sat in the armchair while admiring Luísa, how life could have put us side by side in different countries and mainly for the same cause, one saving the other. I was admiring her and I believe I fell asleep admiring her so much, how does a husband treat a beautiful woman like that? She had a way of being so sweet, so affectionate, zealous... I just wanted my daughter's mother to be like that, not for me, but for my daughter who still misses her so much

I woke up with the noise at the door and when I saw the guy walking through it, I didn't believe it. What was that bastard Alessandro doing there?

Alessandro – Are you here?

Christopher – I ask you, what are you doing here?

Alessandro – Shouldn't you be in Brazil for the hospital president's meeting? What are you doing here with my wife?

Christopher – Your wife?

I had no idea that Luísa was married to that piece of shit, it's too much punishment for a woman like her to be married to a useless person like that and I never got attached to the detail of looking for her last name on the document, I just noticed on the cell phone because it said Luísa, could it be that her mother knows me and that's why she was so scared when she saw me and wanted me to go away?

Alessandro – We are going through a delicate moment Christopher, this is not the time to fight

Christopher – I'm not here for you, by the way, I didn't even know you were Luísa's husband. I'm here because you, irresponsible of her, left her locked in a cellar even though she was pregnant and with the excuse that there would be an earthquake – I laughed through my nose – Did you really think that little excuse would stick? Still the same irresponsible and mean as always Alessandro

Alessandro – Could you at least respect us at this moment, my wife has just lost our daughter

Christopher – Your fault, isn't it?

Luísa – Did I lose my daughter?

It wasn't the best time to talk about it, it was my mistake to have discussed it inside the room that Luísa could wake up to at any moment
