Everything seemed OK while Etheria was around. Ethan was not the devil he always was because he wasn't at home all the time. He must have been trying to avoid his mother. Are they not on good terms? The day she came here, I never saw them talking like how mother and son should. Even with Lucille, my husband on paper never talks about her.
"Hello, dear.." Lucille greeted me when she saw me passing on my way to my room. Etheria was in the living room and they were talking when the old woman arrived about 2 hours ago.
"Hello, Lucille."
"Get ready, we're going somewhere," she said, smiling, I got excited and rushed to the stairs and went to my room to change. Before that, I saw Etheria glancing at me. She must be curious about where we are going.
I am going to see my grandma, I know that. It was the only time that Lucille came here and would tell me to get ready. It was always like that. Because I had not seen my loving grandma for almost 2 weeks because she had been very busy lately, Lucille called me and said that she was going to find time this week.
We were in the hospital and I was with my grandma in the ICU. It appeared that she had a heart attack and the hospital called Lucille. That's why she went to the mansion to get there. I noticed that my grandma had been weaker. Every time I visit her, her condition is just getting worse. The hospital has been doing its best, and I can see that. I can't be with her all the time since it isn't allowed in the hospital either. The nurses who looked after her were very nice too. I often saw them talking to Grandma as if she was theirs.
Two hours. That's the time that I could only see the most important person in my life and we had to leave again. "Dear, we will have to go to the company first. I had an important meeting. Will that be OK with you?" Lucille asked. I didn't want to but she would only ask me a lot of questions and my reason for my objection, so I just nodded my head. I just had to be ready for Ethan's anger when he saw me.
Everyone greeted the old woman when we entered the building and they gave me a curious look. We got in the elevator and stopped on the 15th floor. I followed her when she went out and walked straight to her room. Her office, perhaps. But when she opened the door, I was shocked to see Ethan behind the office table working. He looked at us and his forehead creased when he saw me.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, looking at me.
"I have a meeting. We went somewhere and I had no time to take her home, so I brought her here instead." Lucille said, "Chloe dear, have a seat and feel at home." she told me, pointing at the couch not too far from us. It must be the receiving area in this office.
"Let her go home, grandma. I don't want my employees to see her here," he said. It's not as though I want to see him or I want to be there either.
"We will go home together," Lucille replied. "Now, Chloe, dear, have a seat and wait for me here. My meeting won't take long," she told me and left. I sat on the couch and didn't look or talk to my husband. He did the same, so I had no problem with that. I am keeping myself busy thinking about what I need to do about Grandma's condition. Lucille said that she wouldn't take long, so I guess I will have to deal with the devil's presence for the time being.
After a few minutes, I felt someone sitting beside me and there was him. Looking at me, mockingly. I don't know what I did to him that made him do to me what he was doing right now. He wasn't the first one or the only one who had been married to someone he didn't love or like, but why is he doing this?
"Since you're here, you might do your duty as my wife, right?" he asked and my eyes widened. Don't tell me he wants me to give him a BJ right here in his office. "Why do you look so shocked?" she asked as he started to unbuckle his belt, then pull down his pants. He grabbed me by my wrist and made me kneel in front of him. It was painful as my knees hit the floor. There was a carper but it wasn't enough to protect me. "Start," he said and then grabbed me by my hair.
"Someone might–" I said, trying to reason out.
"Do I look like I care?" he asked angrily. "Start, now!" he said and stressed the last word.
I had no choice but to do as he said. I didn't want to touch him, so I found support on the couch and positioned my face in front of his hard member. Why is it even hard? I don't even feel anything for him and yet he could get as hard as this? I swallowed and started to do as he wanted and, as always, he guided my head on what to do.
"Ohhh.." he moaned again,
"Hon, is Grandma Lucille here?" I stopped as the voice of a woman that I will never forget echoed inside the office. I was shocked because I didn't want anyone to see us doing this. Especially that bitch.
"Get out!!" Ethan shouted. I looked at him and he was looking at me. I thought he was talking to me, so I was about to get up but he stopped me.
"Continue," he said, then I heard the door close. I didn't see Cassidy's face because mine and Ethan's eyes were still in contact. "Continue," he repeated, and so I did after I looked away. "Look at me," he commanded. "I want you to see who you are giving head-on," he added.
"Oh... Fu**!!" he said after he released himself. I didn't like it but I had to. 'For grandma, this is for grandma.' I thought. I was still on my knees and he was smirking at me. "You had a good mouth, you know that. I was always satisfied." I didn't say anything and just glared at him.
"You don't wear clothes like this," he said after he pulled me up, which made me fall on his lap. I don't know what was wrong with my clothes. It was a baby pink off-shoulder dress and for me it was decent. He leaned forward, which made it feel like he buried his face in my neck. But what happened next was unexpected.
"Ouch!!" I cried as I held my shoulder. I felt blood and when I looked at my hand there was really real blood on it. I glared at him because it was the first time that he had done this.
"Show more skin and I will do the same to every part of your skin exposed," he warned and got up. If I had not known him, I would have thought that he was jealous. But that's far from reality and truth, so what is his deal? He entered a room and I was thankful that he didn't close it because I found out that it was a restroom. When he came out, I got in and cleaned myself.
I went back to the couch after and never looked at him. There were people who came in and out of his office but I never glanced at them either. I don't even listen to their conversation and just concentrate on looking outside the floor-to-ceiling wall of his office. Thirty minutes later, Lucille came back and asked me to go home. I got up and followed her without saying anything.
Lucille sent me home and that was the first and last time I went to his company. I will never do it again, even if Lucille pays me a million. Etheria stays there and will only leave if she goes somewhere I don't know and will be gone for a few days or weeks. The time that I thought was too slow, I never noticed that it was already a year since I lived with Ethan. And ever since that day, nothing has changed. It's Friday and I was trying to cook the menu that Cristy had taught me. She and the cook, Ramil, were together now. She learned fast, her boyfriend's presence must have motivated her. "Phone," Cristy said when she came back to me after she answered the call. There were connecting lines of the telephone in every part of the mansion so it would be easy for us to get it when it rang.
"Hello?"
"Dear," It was Lucille, "Come to the hospital now," she said in a hurry. I got scared because of the way she said it. Did something happen to Grandma?
I rushed my way to the hospital and found Lucille who was very worried. "Come here," she said and led me to the ICU where Grandma was. "I came here to visit her and was planning on coming over to the mansion to update you but everyone was gathering around her when I arrived," she added.
"Doctor," I said, and Dr. Mendex gave me a sad look.
"Please stay with her. She might leave us any time now," he said in a low voice.
A thick mist of hopelessness descended around me as the doctor's words began to sink in. As I processed the impending death of my grandma, time seemed to stop still. I felt like I was being overtaken by waves of despair and grief. I had the impression that the ground beneath me had collapsed, leaving me adrift in a sea of doubt and sadness.
Knowing that I would soon have to say goodbye to a source of strength and love in my life made my heart throb with a deep sense of loss. My mind was filled with treasured memories, and the prospect of life without her felt awful. Every conversation, every smile, and every piece of advice given would be indelible in my heart.
My shoulders were bearing a heavy load of sorrow as I traveled home. The familiar surroundings were now tinged with a bittersweet regret, making each step seem like it took an eternity. I was getting ready to face the challenging days ahead, so the trip home seemed terrifying.
The mansion was quiet and I think everyone was in a deep slumber. I went up the stairs and was heading to my bedroom when I was stopped by my wrist. I looked up and found an angry Ethan. I don't have time for him and his arrogance. I want to be alone and ready myself for what is to come with my grandma.
"Where have you been?" he asked angrily. My mind was in chaos thinking that I was going to be alone and the reason for swallowing everything that this man had put me through was going to leave me soon. Maybe because of the pain that I am feeling, I managed to talk back.
"None of your damn business." Then I turned around and opened my room door. I was shocked when he suddenly pushed me inside and angrily said,
"Not my damn business? Tell me, how many men did you have tonight?"
"I don't know what you're talking about and I don't have time for whatever you are up to. Give me space and get out of my sight!" I shouted,
"Do you think that the man you are with just now will be able to take you?" he said, now, even angrier. I don't know whose man he was talking about, but I started to feel scared because of the way he looked at me.
"Just leave me, I didn't do anything bad," I said,
"No, you slut! I am going to punish you for letting another man touch you!"
"I didn't see any man!" I shouted as I tried to get away from his grip. But without a word, he ripped my clothes and took me to my bed. "Stop it!!" I shouted and struggled. But I don't think that he could hear me since he continued what he was doing.
My panties and bra were now lying on the bed or floor, I don't know. Then I felt him bite me on my shoulder again so I screamed in pain, "What did I say about exposing your skin?" he asked, he was so angry and I thought I saw his eyes getting red. He drank but I knew that he was sober and knew exactly what he was doing. "Since you wanted to be fu**, let me do that to you. I didn't want to do this thinking how dirty you are. How many men have fu** you in the club." Is he thinking that I was a pros******? Where did he get that idea? And even if I was, I still don't deserve the kind of treatment that he was giving me.
He removed his robe and I found out that he was naked under it. My eyes widened when I realized that what he was going to do was something he had never done before and something I had never experienced. "I'll just give you a head-on, not this, Ethan please." I pleaded, for the first time I called him by his name.
"Too late, slut." He said angrily and thrust himself hard.
"Nooo..." I screamed as tears rolled down my cheeks. I felt him stiffen for a moment and then continue as he grunted. "I hate you!!" I yelled as he sped up his thrust. It was my first time and it was really painful as he forced himself on me. I will never forget this day, because from here onwards, I am going to hate him for the rest of my life.
