Chapter 5 Enjoy The Night

Gladwin Hamilton still accompanies his daughter. He is afraid if something happens or to do something bad. A person who is sad usually cannot think any longer.

"Do you really not need my help? Do you really want to just go with Lucy?" asked Gladwin, the man looked so worried.

Her eyes looked red and puffy, occasionally tears would flow from the ends and with her hand Lilyana wiped the tears herself.

The woman nodded her head. She didn't want to trouble her father this time. Gladwin is good and always entertains herself, now it's time for the man to rest and Lilyana seeks entertainment to entertain herself.

The two of them sat on the terrace of the house. Lilyana waited for Lucy's arrival while Gladwin accompanied his only daughter.

After several minutes of waiting, finally a red car stopped in front of Ed Shane's house. She is Lucy Malvia, Lilyana's close friend since college.

"Take good care of her, Lucy. You know how she is now." Gladwin said, his left hand on Lucy's right shoulder.

The woman nodded her head. She then said, "Of course, trust me."

Gladwin smiled, he invited his daughter to go with her best friend. Lilyana and Lucy are really close, they often spend time together.

Before the car left, Lilyana waved to her father. Not only that, the sad woman was also seen smiling and giving a kiss bye to her father.

"Take me wherever you want, Lucy," said Lilyana, the woman spoke with eyes looking ahead.

Lucy just nodded her head. The woman then drove the car at a moderate speed. It's still nine o'clock in the evening, there shouldn't be any rush.

Twenty minutes the car drove, finally the private car stopped at a quite crowded nightclub.

Many people come because it's a cool place and they can also meet acquaintances from high society because they usually gather and enjoy long nights there.

"We've arrived," said Lucy who then got out of her car.

Followed by Lilyana, the woman had not been to nightclubs for a long time. Last time since before she got married.

"You still come here often, Lucy?" asked Lilyana.

"Of course, whenever I'm feeling down I'll come here," said Lucy, lying of course.

The two of them then stepped foot into the entertainment venue that night. Quite a number of men and women had gathered.

Some of them were dancing happily with pleasant music, some of them were sitting relaxed chatting or just enjoying liquor.

"I'm a treat," said Lucy, who then ordered some drinks.

"No, Lucy. Let's pay for it separately," said Lilyana, feeling uneasy.

"I asked, Lily. After all, it's been a long time since we've been to this place together, have we?" said Lucy, still wanting to pay for Lilyana's too.

"But, Lu--"

"No, no. You don't need to feel that you have bothered me, I don't feel bothered at all. Come on, sit down and enjoy this evening together," said Lucy, slightly pushing Lilyana's body to sit up.

"But I really don't feel comfortable with you, I'm the one who invited you to come here, I should just pay," explained Lilyana.

"I'm not bothered at all Lily. Let me pay for it for you tonight. Cheers!"

Lilyana smiled, she also took her glass and did cheers with Lucy.

As the night progresses, the entertainment conditions get busier, the music plays at a louder volume and the lights flicker to the rhythm of the music.

"More crowded than a few years ago," said Lilyana.

Had Lucy and Lily finished the bottle of liquor, they would have asked for more.

"Drink some more, Lily," said Lucy, the alcohol starting to get to her senses.

"Ahh, yes, I want to," said Lily, who had also been affected by alcohol.

Both of them returned to do cheers for the umpteenth time. The people around them were no longer ignored by the two of them, tonight the two of them really enjoyed a short night.

Towards three o'clock in the morning, Lilyana still had time to dance to the sound of the music getting louder. Several men asked her to dance and Lilyana enjoyed it.

Until finally the eyes that had been blurry looked at Lucy. It seemed that the woman was talking to someone.

Lilyana's footsteps drew closer to Lucy. A woman who was not so foreign to her eyes, but Lilyana couldn't remember who this small woman was.

"Lu--Lucy ... isn't she--"

"Calm down, she won't notice," said Lucy.

"Bu--but Ed Shane's here too." Ivy said in a slight whisper.

Lilyana couldn't hear what Lucy and the girl were talking about because the music was so loud. Before Lilyana could recognize who the small woman was, Lilyana saw someone else's presence.

A man she knew very well was also in the entertainment venue that night. She didn't think that she would meet that annoying man in her place looking for entertainment.

"What's wrong with you, Ed?! Why did you follow me here? Are you sorry you left me? Tell me, Ed!!!" said Lilyana half screaming.

The woman was angry with Ed Shane. Lilyana thought that the man's presence was to pick her up.

"He's coming with me!!!" said Ivy, who then took Ed Shane's hand.

"Who are you?! How dare you hold my husband's hand!!!" shouted Lilyana, the woman returned to her emotions.

"Ivy, stop! Don't make her angrier!" Lucy snapped.

Hearing Lucy's words, Ivy immediately let go of her grip on Ed Shane's hand quite roughly.

The woman also stepped away from Ed Shane. Looks like her superiors in the world of night prefer to defend Lilyana this time.

Feeling so annoyed with her husband's behavior, Lilyana's emotions were getting crazier. She beat her husband's body without stopping with all her might.

But Ed Shane is still trying to stay strong. He didn't falter at all even though he got a barrage of blows from his wife.

Until finally Ed Shane also got emotional because Lilyana's punches on his body never stopped. Moreover, the woman also cried making him feel so embarrassed.

Ed Shane pulled Ivy's hand, he held her hand tightly while looking at his wife. The man even raised his hand that was holding Ivy's hand to show it more classily to Lilyana.

Seeing that, Lilyana was silent for a moment. The woman looked alternately at Ed Shane and the small woman.

"I came with her!" said Ed Shane firmly.
