Chapter 4 Run Away From Home

It was eight o'clock in the evening, an hour before Shane's Restaurant closed. Driving his car, Ed Shane started to drive towards his restaurant.

The black car was driving at a fairly high speed. Moreover, the streets at night are not so crowded. Normally, Ed Shane would be at his restaurant in fifteen minutes, but now it only took Ed Shane nine minutes.

Ed Shane rushed into the restaurant. He passed the tables that were still full of diners. His restaurant is never empty.

Almost everyone feels comfortable coming to Ed Shane's Restaurant. In addition to its strategic location and safe place, Shane Restaurant also offers a variety of food with a taste that is always delicious and never fails.

"Send Ivy into my room," said Ed Shane, to one of his employees in a small whisper.

After saying this, Ed Shane immediately entered his room. A room that is not so wide, only about ten by fifteen meters.

Inside the room there is a work desk for Ed Shane, a sofa and a long table for meetings and also a relaxing room, all of which are not limited by partitions so that when entering the room everyone can immediately see what is in the room.

Ed Shane sat in his movable chair. He leaned his body there, his thoughts so much tonight.

The problem with Ivy is not over yet, now there is another problem with Lilyana. He felt that this time the world was so unfair to him.

The sound of the door opening made Ed Shane turn the chair he was sitting in. The man then looked at the door of the room which had been closed again, there was Ivy who was standing while bowing her head.

"Come here," said Ed Shane, without looking at Ivy.

Slowly, Ivy's feet moved. She walked closer to her boss.

"Sit down," said Ed Shane, ordering his mistress.

Ivy obeyed Ed Shane's words even though she was still very angry inside. But as a worker, she was reluctant to refuse orders from her superiors.

"Why are you so sure that it's my baby?" asked Ed Shane, the man glanced and moved his chin for a moment toward Ivy's still flat stomach.

Ivy did the same, looking at her stomach first for a few seconds. The woman then said, "The last few weeks, I've only had sex with you."

"I don't believe you!" said Ed Shane immediately.

"You can call Lucy if you don't believe me." Ivy said in a cold voice.

Ivy then took out her cell phone from her work uniform pocket. She turned on the cell phone and searched for the name of Lucy Malvia--the pimp who had hired her.

The sound of voice calls trying to connect with Lucy was heard. Ivy turned on the loud speaker on her cellphone so that Lucy's voice could later be heard by herself and Ed Shane.

Lucy didn't pick up the voice call from Ivy for a long time. Until after a few seconds of waiting longer, Lucy's voice came from inside Ivy's cell phone.

"Hello, what's up, Ivy?" Lucy's voice was heard with the bustling surroundings.

The sound of the music was so loud, not only that, but also the voices of people who wanted to enjoy their respective nights.

"Lucy, haven't I been rejecting anyone who wants to book me for the past few weeks?" Ivy said, immediately asking without preamble.

"Yes, what is it? I have a male official who is lonely, do you want it?" said Lucy, offering Ivy someone.

"No, Lucy. Throw it to the others." Ivy said.

"Okay, Ivy. So ... when will you start taking orders again?" asked Lucy, with a slight chuckle at the end of her sentence.

"Um, I don't know for sure." Ivy said with a little hesitation.

"Well, you just serve Mr. Ed with love first, hihihi," said Lucy, making Ivy feel a little embarrassed.

Lucy didn't know that Ed Shane was also listening to the conversation between her and Ivy. As soon as Lucy said that, Ivy glanced briefly at Ed Shane.

"I'm still working, Lucy. See you later." Ivy said, about to turn off the voice.

"All right, Ivy. See you later."

Voice calls are muted by Ivy. The woman put her cell phone back into her work uniform pocket. Ivy's eyes then turned to Ed Shane.

The man seemed silent. His mouth wasn't talking, but his mind was now so noisy.

"I'll take responsibility, Ivy," said Ed Shane.

Ed Shane's face looked quite serious talking to Ivy. It seemed that he really meant what he said.

Ivy smiled at the words her boss had said. Now her feeling so happy, finally Mr. Ed can understand her feelings.

"Are you serious, Mr. Ed?" asked Ivy, with a faint smile on her lips.

Ed Shane nodded his head. He adjusted his position and then said, "But there are some things you need to agree on, Ivy. Meet me here in the morning."

This time Ivy fell silent again, this was a little unfair to her. Ivy felt that it was not a good thing for her to agree.

While being silent, Ed Shane rose from his seat. The man immediately approached with a fairly fast movement.

Still sitting in her chair, Ivy started getting lustful attacks from Ed Shane. That man is crazy!

Ivy is trying to resist tonight. She had been reluctant to do that with Ed Shane. Moreover, there is no clarity whether he will really be responsible for the pregnancy or not.

But like the previous nights, Ed Shane's game was so hot. He would never allow Ivy to calm down or let out a single breath.

"What's wrong with you and Ed, Lily?" asked Gladwin, his voice so soft.

While Lilyana just shook her head while continuing to cry. She didn't know what to do anymore.

On the other hand, she still loves her husband so much, but she also doesn't want it if she doesn't get Ed Shane's loving attention and affection every day. Lilyana was completely confused about what course of action she should choose. Survive or choose to let go?

"I want to go away for a while, Dad," said Lilyana, who then took her cell phone.

"Where are you going Lily? Do you need me to accompany you?" asked Gladwin.

Lilyana shook her head, her tears had subsided a bit. The woman then said, "I'll ask Lucy to accompany me, Dad."

A voice call was made by Lilyana, she tried to contact her best friend when she was still in college. Several times Lucy's number could not be reached on the grounds that Lucy was on another call.

Until finally after several attempts, the voice call finally connected with Lucy.

"Hello Lucy. Can you come to the house and get me?"
