Chapter 4 Part 4

Behind me, I kept hearing the voice of Jennie, a brown-haired girl with beautiful emerald eyes. The girl kept screaming, reminding me of my still not fully recovered condition.

I run, I don't care. I want to see my mother's funeral in Sicily.

As soon as I arrived, Susana was busy welcoming me. There were many people there. I wanted to break through, but suddenly my legs couldn't move. Slowly my eyes fell and I saw the vines that bound my feet. From the gap in the crowd, I saw Gisella staring intently. Her lips moved to say. Watch your boundaries.

She's a crazy girl!

It's my mother's funeral! I have every right to be around him, just like Kleand, Hars and Gisella. I'm his biological daughter. Why can't they understand that?! Even if Gisella and Must are different people.

I can only stay where I am. This numb leg still hasn't fully recovered, this weak body is the same as being unable to do anything. I'm just silent like a fool. Looking through the gaps in the crowd, the coffins began to sink into the pit. I'm lucky that I'm not too late, at least I can see the figure of the mother who is locked in the black coffin.

"Mother ...."

A warm hand touches my shoulder. The light that embraces the body in the cold. The light that I know is Sicily.

"Be happy, Lyana. Be happy, my child,"the warm, bright light whispered in my ear.

Now I sit in front of the fire, my mind wandering over the possibilities of Sicily's departure.

"Miss, drink this warm milk,"Jennie said, handing me a glass of milk. Since then she has always been the most considerate.

"Thank you."

"Lyana!"Gisella's cry surprised Jennie, who had just put away the blanket that was keeping my body warm. I'm not surprised, I don't know how I predicted all of this. Gisella entered the room with an angry face. The black dress still clung to her body. I glanced back at the fireplace for a moment.

Lazy to face Gisella's childish nature. Although she was seventeen years old. But ahe is still childish. We are seven years apart in age, but she is the childish one.

I was a little surprised when the vines began to bind my body, lifting it high until it hit the ceiling of the room.

"Ah!"I winced as the plant released thorns that began to hurt every part of my body it was wrapped around.

"I told you not to come with Mother! But you came anyway! I knew you, being weak, wouldn't be able to protect her! You jinx! Mother died because of you!"

I glared at her, "Noisy!"

My blood started to drip. But I still stared at him. Pain like this is still small. It's not much and I can still hold it well.

"Miss Gisella! Please put Miss Lyana down! This is not her fault. She's still small, she's already hurt, Miss!"Jenny begged. She kowtowed and continued to pull at Gisella's black dress. The arrogant girl didn't react and kicked Jennie hard.

Be happy, girls,' the ringing voice surprised me. Like a very bright sun beating the clouds in my heart. The bright light creates extraordinary warmth and enthusiasm. Suddenly a strong wind came and shook Gisella who was holding me.

Then the snow flew into my room. The tendrils that were wrapped around me froze and broke. Like tiny ice cubes.

I can clearly see Gisella's shocked face. She looked at me in disbelief. While my answer was just a nonchalant look and I immediately accepted Jennie's hug, who was crying for me, who was worried about me.

Jennie treated the wounds on my body. This girl continues to be kind since the border. I don't know why, but the feeling of comfort in my heart is not because of her kindness, what is there is suspicion. It feels strange that someone you've just met is suddenly nice, because there are no really good people in this world that I've always known in Sicily.

"I'm sorry, Jenny,"That's what I said to Jennie, who was concentrating on her treatment.

"I should be the one to apologize for not being able to help, Miss."

I'm speechless.

"Why are you being so nice to me, Jennie?"i asked frankly. It's not normal for me to be stuck in a long question mark.

Jenny looked at me with warm eyes. There is sincerity in them, whether you believe it or not. I smiled too.

"Jennie, you're hurt,"I stroked her arm, which had been hit by a shard of glass earlier. I channeled where and the wound healed. Jenny was surprised. Actually, I'm the same.

"No-miss, you..."

Even she was speechless. I just smiled.

"Even though everyone says you're useless because you can't use magic, you actually have healing magic?"

I just smile. This magic is rare. Lilyana Van Bearc was born with two natural powers. Water and wind, so rare healing magic blessings can be obtained. However, healing magic could be performed according to one's mana capacity. If the mana is strong, even the dead can be revived. But at the cost of your own life. Unfortunately, Lyana was unaware of this extraordinary talent. Neither were the people around her, who were unaware of it and made fun of Lyana. The same Juha with Lyana, who instead chose illegal ways to gain power.

"Did Miss hide it?"asked Jenny excitedly.

No. My strength just increased. I can't answer that. I didn't really think so myself. Besides, the sudden awakening of my power is tremendous.

"Yes, I hid it," I lied. But this power is awakened - All because of this, Mother.

"Even if Miss says it, Miss will..."

"Miss Lyana, the Lord Grand Duke is calling for you,"someone appeared in the doorway. I turned with a wry smile.

It seems the news has reached them. News like that spread quickly in the Bearc family.

"Okay."

It's not wrong to reveal this. Because I'm sure the bitter and lonely life I'm living will end after this. I don't need this shitty family, I just want money and comfort. Who cares about a family like theirs?

****

"Your power has awakened?"Cleo's cold voice greeted me. Just as I entered his office.

"Yes."

This cool guy with blond hair really pisses me off. The cold-hearted man who killed the Empress, abandoned his own child, and even tried to poison Prince Gerald. The most evil person in the story.

"Since when?"

"A month ago,"i answered casually. Of course, that was a lie, because my power had only appeared earlier. I just don't want them to know how much power I have when they know that the power that just appeared is a lot of where.

Cleo stood up from his chair and approached me, holding a colorless magic stone in his hand. Put it in front of me. Right on his desk, not far from me.

"Try it."

As soon as I touched the colorless sphere, blue and gray rays appeared. And that must have surprised her. I looked at her and saw it in her blue eyes. She was very surprised by my two nature magic.

"How is it, sir?"She asked formally.

"You have healing magic?"Cleo asked in a low voice.

"The where I have isn't enough to cure serious illnesses, but I have this magic."

"Good."

I looked at Cleo, who began to order his assistant to give me a new room, a beautiful dress, and even a maid, which I had never had before.

"What are you doing?"I asked in a cold voice.

"Giving you what you deserve."

I smiled sinisterly. Why now? Why not a long time ago? That bastard.

"Are you really a father?"i joked.
