"It was Wayne mum... he wrote it during our logic test" replied immediately.
She smiled as she moved towards the bed and sat down,
Moses knew what she wanted, so he moved and sat down with her.
'When did you get back?" she asked calmly holding his hands together with hers, she looked into her son's eyes and she could see a direct replica of Father Aaron.
Like I said before, Moses was surrounded in a life of complex irony. Born to a reverend father was another frustrating revelation he had from his mother at age fifteen.
Mary needed to make a life for her son, she needed him to have something better than the harsh living she had and so met with the parish lords to get support after the death of father Aaron
But none was ready to help her seeking to know the father of her child, they called the child a bastard who deserves no help from God.
She broke the bottle despite her oath to father Aaron never to let anyone know he owned the child.
She had to remarry and that was how Moses found himself in the Manson's mansion since he turned nineteen.
"I got back early mum" he replied forcing out a smile at her.
He knew her conditions and he was not ready to do anything stressing her.
She was clearly the emotional type and was not ready for the stress that Moses brought.
"How early is that early" Mary replied.
Adjusted herself calmly on the bed facing him.
"You made a new hair style" Moses said as he reached out for her ponytail admiring it in a bid to disrupt the issues of his late coming.
"Sally made this new pony tail for me last week" she added nodding her head giving him a disappointing look
"itsssss its actually beautiful... looks good on you" Moses stammered looking away
"I love you son" she said holding his face and turning it towards hers
"Love you more mum" he said weakly
"Now let me see those smile" she said as she smiles at him and tickled him
"stop it mum I'm a man now" he said jumping from the bed
"Man... man of the people" she said mockingly standing up and walking towards the door.
"Now join us for dinner in the next fifteen minutes" she added closing the door behind her.
Moses moved closer to the reading desk as he closed the door from the inside behind his mum.
He picked the sheet of paper from the desk as he made to sit, he used his hands to wipe his face to be sure of what he was seeing, he looked more confused than he was the first time.
The sheet was blank, he held it upside down turning it round but it was blank
He dropped It quietly on the table as he made for the bathroom, he needed to get his head clear
He took water from the sink and washed his face, he looked at his reflection on the mirror, he took another splash of water and applied it on his face and head as he used the hand towel to wipe his face gently.
He opened the door and made for his room and sat quietly on his chair, he picked the note and found it still empty.
He turned his face again in surprise trying to believe he actually saw nothing written there the first time.
But he remembered his mum asking him who wrote him the note.
He sat quietly as he picked the paper up.
"ooooh I think I have to listen to Wayne, I need to take a break he said resting back on his executive chair rolling it round.
That was when he saw her
Kyle Spencer was standing there close to door, he jumped off from his chair immediately and made for the window in fear
"What are you doing here!" he shouted finding his voice.
"How did you even get inside my room!" he continued trying to hide his fear
"Well not bad for a psycho" she said as she moved slowly round the room making her way to the neatly tucked bed.
"Seriously?... I'm the psycho?" Moses asked visibly angry as he found his legs working again.
He moved towards the chair as he observed her closely.
"as far as I can remember I'm not the one that ran from home placing my whole family and friends in trauma" he said aggressively
"Well I'm not the one crazy about ghosts and distancing myself from family and friends" she fired back immediately
This was more like a battle of words between two aggrieved souls.
"When last did you see your mum Kyle" Moses continued
"I know you ran out with a guy" he added harshly
she was quiet, she smiled at him and scanned the whole room with her eyes and fell back to him.
"wait how did you get here" Moses continued after the long silence
"How did you get the door open?" he continued looking puzzled
"Helooooo I remembered locking the door" he continued.
Moses kept quiet as he observed her, he has known Kyle spencer for more than two years, she was the bet student in their class since their first year
It was not possible that she had left home with a man that was never the kind of lady Kyle was, she was well presentable and a fine young woman.
Instantly, as Moses drew closer to her, he froze in disbelief, his eyes grew wide in a mixture of awe and terror, reality began to dawn before him, the odds were against him here because there was no way she could have gained entrance.
As he watched her intently, a profound sense of melancholy washed over him
She exuded an aura of sorrow bearing the weight of a prematurely extinguished existence placing her in an eternal state of unrest.
Thou she remained quiet but her presence conveyed a profound message of help in an unfinished business, beads of sweat gather on his fore head as Moses felt a sense of guilt about his former statement
He remembered seeing her in class today alone at the back sit
"What could be wrong with her? what happened to her? Why the sudden disappearance?" he asked himself standing far
He noticed the stains on her hair and cloth, the cloth looked rumbled and dirty, he noticed the scares on her body as if one who just survived a fight, it was clear that she was recently engaged in a struggle.
"what are you and how did you get here Kyle" he found his voice
"Like this" she said as she stood up and walked through the wall before his eyes
"Ahhhh!" Moses shouted as he jumped from himself in fear....
