Chapter 6 Found Out

Tina did not stare up at the road as she walked, not until she heard the familiar voice calling her name, "Tina." And she raised her head up and saw Patrick standing in front of her.

Bittered, angered, and resentful, Tina wanted to run past him, but Patrick quickly caught her by her arm and held her back to himself to stop her from running away, as the day had fully broken and he did not mind the passersby staring at them.

"Am sorry," Patrick apologized to her ears again as he pulled Tina closer into a hug, but she sobbed to his chest, as she wanted to get away from him, as she hit on his chest to let go of her.

"No. Come with me, let me take you home to your village," Patrick said to her, and he endured Tina hitting on his chest as she cried, and some onlookers wondered whom the sweet romantic couples were they were seeing at that early hour of the day.

Tina finally calmed, and she pulled away from Patrick, realizing that she was sobbing to his chest, but Patrick still held her hand closely, and he walked with her to his car before he finally let go of her hand, and he helped her sit in the second front seat of his car, and he said to Tina, "I know your village junction, and I will take you there."

Tina didn't respond as she sobbed and watched Patrick shut the side door. And

Patrick walked back to his driver's seat and got into his car, as he knew that he would be late to his work office, but he still wanted to be sure Tina got home safely.

Patrick started his car's engine, and he drove off to Tina's village junction, while Tina continued sobbing in his car, not staring up at the road nor giving him any direction either.

Sharon and Prisca finally returned home to Patrick's house from their nightclubbing, and the security gateman informed Sharon, "Boss is not home, as he has left to work."

"Okay, how about the lady?" Sharon asked him about Tina, and the gateman replied, "She also left earlier too, before the boss left."

"Okay," Sharon said, and she didn't want to ask any further, as she was too tired after staying up the whole night and partying and later sleeping with a rich guy that she met at the club. She finally walked towards the house door with Prisca while she unlocked the door as she had a spare key with her, and she got into the house with Prisca, as her two previous friends had both gone back to their houses, except for Prisca, who asked her, "What did the security man say about Tina?."

"I'm tired, Prisca. He said that Tina has already left." Sharon lazily replied, feeling sleepy, but Prisca asked again, "With your brother?."

"No Prisca. The gateman said that Tina left earlier than Patrick left," Sharon answered, while Prisca sighed, "Okay. better that way."

Prisca couldn't hide the fact that she was jealous of Patrick liking Tina over her, as she didn't even want to go out with Sharon the previous night before and leave Tina all alone with Patrick. But with the hot gist that Sharon and her two friends were discussing about the new club, Prisca couldn't resist the urge to visit there too with them and to probably meet with a new handsome man too, as she knew that Patrick never even took her relationship with him seriously. Instead, he kept on asking Tina.

Tina, Tina, all the time from her, and even given her gifts to send to Tina. So she would help him talk to Tina on his behalf and also bring Tina over to his place whenever she was coming over to visit his house.

Even the last time, Patrick had given her $20,000 in cash just so she could bring Tina along with her, and she had told him that "Tina didn't accept, as she didn't like associating with guys." And she had spoken to Tina about considering dating Patrick, but Tina refused and told her that she didn't need a boyfriend. She didn't want to lose her pride to a mere boyfriend, but she wanted to keep it for her husband and gift it to him as a wedding gift on their wedding night.

Prisca remembered that she even went on telling Tina that it was a waste of her keeping her virginity because the so-called husband in the future wouldn't also be a virgin. So what was so special about Tina keeping hers when she could've at least explored the fun at this new adult age of theirs? But Tina was still adamant, as she told her that it was her decision and her mother wouldn't be happy with her if she found out that she has a boyfriend.

Prisca sighed and decided to stop bothering Tina about Patrick again, but she rather kept on collecting gifts from Patrick, and she claimed that she would help him talk to Tina on his behalf without bothering to tell Tina anything about Patrick again. As she remembered, even when she had told Tina to follow her to Sharon's house, she never brought up the topic of Patrick wanting her because she had long told Tina that she was now dating Patrick by herself. And that made Tina less worried about following her to Patrick's house; even though Tina didn't know the place, they were going to be outside their village, the nearby town, and more likely Patrick's house too.

Prisca knew that Tina would have turned back home if she had known that Sharon's brother was Patrick. And it was actually Patrick's house; they were going too. But they had already trekked farther away from home before she finally stopped a bike and dragged Tina to hop in with her.

Prisca was still worried about Tina, and she was slightly jealous as she knew that Tina had slept over at Patrick's house the previous night and was also alone with Patrick. And she wondered what really happened between them the previous night. But she hoped that Patrick didn't do anything silly with Tina, as she knew Patrick to be a gentleman, after resisting her several advances towards him, for them to get intimate together.

Prisca sighed, as she was already tired after making out the previous night with a rich guy that she met at the club for just 10k cash, and she thought to rest for a while in Sharon's room before going back home to her mother's house, as she knew that her mother wouldn't even query her where she went too, and she finally walked into Sharon's bedroom to rest, as she was too tired, and she laid tirelessly on Sharon's bed and slept off.

Sharon finally got into the house, and she first went to the restroom to ease herself and wash her face before checking if Patrick had any dishes left since they had visitors the previous night. And she stepped into the kitchen and opened the pot, and to her surprise, she saw that Patrick hadn't even warmed up the past night's food. And she wondered what really happened, as to why Patrick didn't warm up the meals left before leaving to work early, as he had already left to work.

Sharon rather proceeded to heat the foods first, so they wouldn't spoil, while she made tea and bread for herself as breakfast. And

After she was through eating her breakfast, she went to check on Prisca, and she saw that Prisca was already sleeping on her bed and not even minding to shower or eat. And she decided to allow Prisca to rest because she too was tired, but she got really curious to know what happened between Patrick and Tina the previous night and to clear her doubt as to why Patrick hadn't warmed up the food left.

Sharon went to Patrick's room door, and to her surprise, she saw that the room door was slightly left ajar, making her surprised, as she knew that Patrick usually locked up his room door, but to her surprise, his room door was slightly opened and not locked. And so she pushed the room door to open, and she walked into his room, and she was shocked to see the red blood stained on the white bed, as she knew that Patrick liked using white mattresses.

Sharon was shocked out of her daze, and she immediately ran out faster to her bedroom to wake Prisca up, as she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Prisca! Prisca! Wake up!" Sharon screamed and shook on Prisca vigorously to wake up, as Prisca was still snoring on her bed.

"Prisca!" Sharon yelled again, and Prisca finally woke up and sat up on the bed as she stretched and had planned on sleeping a little before going back home to meet her mother. As she knew the type of mother that she has, her mother wouldn't even complain once she told her mother that she was at a friend's place. Her mother wouldn't even ask her if her friend was male or female, as her mother would only reply, "Okay."

Prisca stared at Sharon, who frowned, and Prisca twisted her face in irritation and asked, "What's it? Why did you wake me up, Sharon, and why're you staring at me like that?."

Sharon shook her head as she stood up from the bed and laughed out, and she clapped her two hands together and said, "You wouldn't believe it."

"Believed what?" Prisca asked her, after clearing her eyes, since she knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep again in Sharon's room, as Sharon had already disturbed her from resting and she had to prepare for home.

"What's it?" Prisca asked again, meeting Sharon's intense gaze on her, and Sharon questioned, "Why didn't you tell me that your friend was a prostitute and didn't have any self-control?. You wouldn't believe what I saw there."

Sharon shook her head, and Prisca asked her, "What did you see?."

Prisca was confused, and she wanted Sharon to go straight to the point, and Sharon said, "Some girls can pretend! Did you know that I went to my brother's room now to check up as to why Patrick left so early without even warming up the food left that he made last night before we left? Remember he was cooking?."

"Yes, I remembered," Prisca answered.

"Come and see for yourself." Sharon dragged Prisca by her right hand to stand up from the bed and to follow her to her Patrick's room.
