Chapter 2 Getting the mate

Leo got to meet with his friend Sherman, who is known to be wealthy but not to be compared with Leo. He has a beautiful and well-trained daughters, Luna and Evelyn by name, born to him by Charlene, Evelyn is married, while Luna has long had an interest in being with Liam, and always pray to spend the rest of her life with him.

She spent much of her time outside Serangoon, and because of that, neither Lynn nor Liam knew about her, while she herself got to know about Liam through her parents, who wanted to build a continue relationship with the family.

Leo got to have some talk with Sharman.

"Liam's attitude of refusing to get married and rudeness is my problem; this has given me serious concern, and I need to treat it right by myself." He spoke.

"Is that why you are so worried and almost looking more older? When it is time for him to get married, he picked one from among his girls. Remember, we also acted like him, enjoying our lives. To him, he also wants to enjoy his life, so allow him." Sharman advised him without relating to him anything about Luna's interest in his son.

Later in the night, after Leo had already left Sharman's house, Charlene thought of telling Sharman to have some marriage arrangements discussed with Leo about his son and Luna.

"Do you think he will agree to that?" He asked Charlene his wife.

"Darling, there are so many reasons for that; remember, we need to keep a very strong business connection with him, and the greatest of them all is that our daughter Luna has feelings for his son Liam. Since he has failed to get married, let his father get him a wife by we both alongside his Leo arrange marriage for him" She added.

Sharman doubted it again; he wondered how this would be made possible. The more he wondered, the more Charlene kept giving him reasons to agree to that.

"That guy is rude, and you can't tell what he will exactly do to our daughter, when she get to stay with them."

"Yes, I know that he is rude, and at the same time, I believe that he will have respect for Luna once he gets to see her as his father's wife. Although Luna will know how to play her game properly in order to Liam heart, only with that will he be told that it is an arranged marriage for him. Since Leo wants him to control the company," She added.

"You mean that Luna will agree to this? What if she refuses?" He asked again.

"Leave that to me." She told him.

On the same night, Liam didn't return home; he had gone to a party with friends, where he met Ranee, a young lady, who got to love Liam after she had heard of his wealthy background.

"Please, may I know the solution, because he needs to start working on himself?" He said. Sharman now tell him what he have come up with his wife, which when applied on Liam, will make him more of a responsible person, and with the help of his wife Charlene, they were able to speak more.

"This is a nice idea, but don't you think it will speak as child abuse for me, at age 69, to take in Luna of age 32 as my wife, even though it is an arrange marriage for my son." He asked.

"Maybe you don't want to make him the man you have ever wanted." The most used idea is what I brought up with" Charlene advised him to consider getting chosen Luna on his son behave.

"For how long will she be with me acting as my wife until she has made him fall in love with her?Also know that she won't find it easy with him at first because that boy is something else to describe, he is rude." He added.

"I know my daughter Luna, and I believe that after she has acted well, he will drag her with you without knowing that she is his wife." Charlene speaks again. Leo promised to give it a thought, and in doing so, he has to speak with his children about getting a wife. But not to an extend of disclosing to them about the arranged marriage, until Luna has finally made Liam fall in love with her. He got home, and was alone in his room, where thought of this.

"This is a nice idea, which I would have discussed with Lynn, but I am told not to do so. Meanwhile, my fear is how they will welcome Luna, Lynn and Liam won't agree to the idea of me getting wife; I will go with that, and when she is able to get his attention, I and Sharman will then explain to Liam how the whole plan came to be. That she is his arrange wife." He said to himself, to him, that's a good idea.

Getting Sharman and Evelyn to know about it, he told them how he would like to go with with idea ,she will be living with him, which will make it easier for her to get to know Liam more and be able to make Liam fall in love with her.
