People only saw Gloria's calm face, but they didn't know that she was crying inside.

Patrick stood out. This incomparably dazzling man almost stopped breathing, but he did not stop or berate Gloria.

Alger was also stunned by Gloria's question, but he reacted quickly and said, "The text messages on her phone were proof. How do you explain that?"

If Gloria was not involved in the incident, then how could she explain those text messages and the last few calls made to her? It was hard to believe that she was innocent.

Gloria chuckled with self-mockery, "No. It was not a coincidence. The person that planned to set me up, got herself in trouble as well. And I became the victim of this plot."

Besides Gloria, only Gabrielle and those rogues who had disappeared knew about the truth.

Unless Gloria could find those rogues, she probably would not be able to whitewash herself in this life.

Back then, Alger and Camille happened to have already aimed at Moonlight Group in her hands. If the members of Silver Spring Pack could delay Patrick's attack on her, then she would have more time to search for evidence that was helpful to her.

However, after three years, even if there were evidence, they would have vanished.

Therefore, ever since Gloria was sent to prison, she knew that even if she was released from prison, she would no longer have the right to explain herself.

Gloria had no proof to defend herself. So, she had to swallow the accusations and people's criticism.

Alger apologized to the people present. "I'm sorry. The banquet was disturbed. Sorry, everyone."

Then, people began to congratulate Daley.

Alpha Daley chuckled, looking very pleased.

Gloria's expression changed. "Daley, you took my grandfather's property. Aren't you worried that my grandfather will go after you in your dream?"

When Warren heard this, he rushed over in a rage and scolded, "Bitch! How dare you curse my father again!"

Warren rushed in front of Gloria. People's eyes widened and they thought that they were about to watch a big fight.

A figure stood in front of Gloria. It was Patrick. He looked at Warren and asked coldly, "What do you want?"

Warren stopped. He was stunned, and so were the others around him.

Today was the auction of Moonlight Group. Patrick brought Gloria here. Most people thought that Patrick brought Gloria here to humiliate her.

However, when everyone looked over, they saw Patrick's expression didn't change at all. He wrapped his arm around Gloria's shoulder and looked at Warren. "What are you gonna do even if she cursed Daley?"

"What are you gonna do?"

Patrick was so arrogant.

"Daley, what do you think?" Patrick turned his golden eyes to Alpha Daley, who was clearly mad and embarrassed, but Daley had no choice but to swallow it.

With what Patrick had said, Daley should feel lucky that he wasn't attacked by a stroke. Daley kept shaking, but in the end, he didn't say anything.

Shock flashed in Gloria's eyes. She looked up at Patrick. She didn't understand what Patrick meant.

Patrick lowered his eyes and swept his gaze over Gloria's face. He smiled at her and asked, "Gloria, what are you going to do?"

Gloria knew very well that Patrick would never be so kind, though everyone around was shocked when Patrick asked this question.

People were whispering to each other, "Is Mr. Hammond going to support her?" However, Gloria did not think that Patrick was kind enough to protect her.

Gloria closed her eyes abruptly. There were two forces in her heart pulling each other. She needed to make a decision.

Gloria knew that she had to make a decision. Patrick was forcing her to make a decision!

Though Gloria's grandfather wasn't simply indulging her, she still appreciated it. Without him, she would not have experienced so much of the world and such a hard but wonderful life.

She was grateful to her grandfather.

Suddenly, Gloria opened her eyes and she looked determined. "Mr. Hammond, may I borrow 50 million dollars?"

Patrick smiled happily. A look of admiration flashed through his eyes. If Gloria also thought that he would be so kind and help her get Moonlight Group back, then she was the real Gloria.

A voice flashed through Patrick's mind. 'No matter how much this woman has changed, she is still the same Gloria.'

If Gloria asked Patrick to help her get Moonlight Group back directly, then she really had changed into someone else.

"50 million dollars? How dare you ask so much from me? I am a businessman, not a philanthropist. Gloria, think about it carefully. What can you offer me in return? Hmm?" Patrick asked unhurriedly.

Gloria looked at the man in front of her with a complicated expression. She gritted her teeth and said, "Well, from now on, I will do anything you ask me to. Mr. Hammond."

This was equivalent to signing an indentured contract!

Patrick wanted to laugh when he heard her words, but when he saw how tense Gloria was and how nervous she looked, Patrick said quickly, "Alright, deal."

Gloria was still tense. She said, "Thank you, Mr. Hammond."

After she said that, she turned to Alger and said, "I want to take back what belongs to me. I offer 50 million."

Gloria stared at Alger, and her eyes turned cold this time.

Alger had lost his voice. He was in a difficult position. At this moment, Patrick was standing behind Gloria, but Moonlight Group had already been sold to Alpha Daley.

Alger didn't dare offend Patrick, since he had no idea about the relationship between Gloria and Patrick.

It wasn't just Alger who didn't understand. At first, everyone thought that Patrick had brought Gloria back to Carter's house to humiliate Gloria. However, they didn't expect him to stand beside Gloria when Warren was about to make a move.

Just as everyone thought that Patrick was going to stand up for Gloria, they heard Gloria ask Patrick for money.

For a moment, everyone was befuddled.

Alger was confused, but he didn't want to offend Patrick. He glanced at Alpha Daley from the corner of his eye and immediately said, "Gloria, you saw it just now. Moonlight Group has been sold to Mr. Middleton."
