Chapter 5 Boss sucks

Angela had just finished taking a shower. She was dressed homely and in the middle of drying her wet hair. She walked to the pantry and opened the noodle packaging in the cup. Her dinner now is boiled noodles. She was used to eating ready-to-eat food like this.

Beep beep

She turned towards the door when she heard the doorbell ring.

"Who is visiting at this time of night," she muttered.

She walked towards the door and without the slightest fear, she immediately opened the door of her house.

"You?" she screamed when she saw someone standing towering in front of his door.

"Night, you haven't slept yet?" who is none other than Regan.

"what are you doing here?" Angela asked looking at Regan who was still in his work suit.

"I want to have dinner here with you," Regan called out and just barged in without asking. Angela just looked grumpy at him.

'What else is this handsome devil going to do,' Angela thought.

"Little cat, I want to eat. Can you cook?" Regan asked taking off his jacket and draping it over the sofa that was there.

"No! I can't cook at all," Angela exclaimed with certainty.

Regan walked to the pantry and saw Angela's cup noodles.

"You eat dinner with just this?" Regan exclaimed looking at Angela with a surprised look, while Angela only showed a casual look.

"So what? I'm full just eating that, "said Angela innocently.

"Where is the nutrition? Ah, no wonder your body is straight like that," Regan said casually, making Angela's eyes widen.

"You're saying that I'm malnourished, is that it?" she exclaimed.

"You said that yourself," Regan replied.

Angela is getting excited by Regan. If only Regan wasn't her boss. He had been skinned by Angela. For now, Angel just needs to be patient.

"What do you have in the fridge?" Regan shouted walking over to the fridge.

"There isn't any. And did you come here just to rummage through my fridge and criticize the food I eat?" she exclaimed.

"I told you, I want to have dinner here," Regan shouted, opening the refrigerator, which was indeed empty. Only contains drinks.

"Don't you have a house? Why do you even want to come here? Even though there are many expensive and delicious restaurants out there. Why do you have to disturb someone's rest," Angela exclaimed at length, making Regan stare at her until their gazes drifted apart from each other.

"Because I want to have dinner with you."

Angela froze in place hearing Regan's words just now, which for some reason made her heart flutter.

What's so special about him? Why would someone like Regan Danial want to be with him?

Regan called Nickolas and asked him to bring over some vegetables and other cooking ingredients. He also asked Nickolas to order the courier who sent it there instead of Nickolas.

"What would you do? I can't cook at all. So if you're expecting a fancy dinner here, then it's just a dream!" cried Angela walking towards her pantry table and taking a seat there.

She pulled out her cup of noodles and then opened her noodles which had bloomed and didn't look good to eat anymore.

It's all because of that handsome devil. Angela thought.

"Who told you to eat this non-nutritious food," Regan shouted, pulling the cup noodles away from Angela, making him glare in annoyance.

"Has anyone ever said that you have beautiful eyes," Regan exclaimed and instantly Angela's anger disappeared somewhere. Turned into a shock and embarrassment.

"Ahem.. don't change the subject," Angela exclaimed, turning nervous. "Now please return my noodles. I'm so hungry," Angela exclaimed.

"No. You don't need to eat this food. wait a few more moments before you can eat," Regan replied, staring at his cell phone screen and fiddling with it.

Angela silently watched the handsome man in front of her. It would be a lie if Angela didn't admire the director, in fact, she really admired the handsome and perfect figure in front of her. Angela even still feels like all of this is a dream, she and the director are in the same room and feel so close and familiar. If... if only Angela had a heart, then she would immediately fall in love with her director.

"What is it?" asked Regan who was now looking at Angela with a raised eyebrow.

"No it's nothing," Angela replied.

After waiting for quite a while, finally, the courier who delivered Regan's order came. Regan casually opened the door and closed it again with a cardboard bag filled with cooking ingredients. Angela just sat there and watched Regan folding her two shirts up to her elbows.

"You cook?" Angela asked looking at Regan who was still busy folding the shirt in her hands.

"Yes."

"Seriously you want to cook?" asked Angela very surprised.

"So what? There is something wrong?" she asked.

"No. That's not it, it's quite a surprise to know you can cook," said Angela.

"Just so you know. I can do everything. So when you have a partner like you who can't cook, you won't bother anymore and always eat out," Regan replied, making Angela even more confused by the words.

Regan was wearing Angela's pink apron. But damn why does it even look macho and more handsome. Even the dashing impression had not disappeared at all.

Regan got busy chopping vegetables and preparing other cooking utensils. He looks busy and focused on his cooking. Unknowingly, Angela didn't take her eyes off the handsome figure of Regan in front of her.

What a perfect man... Angela thought.

After a long time of struggling with his cooking. Regan finally served several food menus he had cooked on the pantry table right in front of Angela. Seeing all that, Angela almost drooled. From the aroma alone, it already smells fragrant and delicious from the food.

Regan had already removed her apron and sat across from Angela.

"You're hungry, right? Then let's eat," Regan called out.

Angela and Regan started stuffing food into their mouths.

'Gosh... this is really delicious. Oh, it feels like eating food from a 5-star luxury restaurant,' Angela thought.

"What is it? What's not good?" she asked.

"Nothing," Angela replied, not wanting to praise the handsome devil.

They also enjoyed dinner together in silence.
