Chapter 3 personal assistant

Regan looked fresh with his wet hair. He was only wearing white training pants and was bare-chested, showing his six-pack body. He walked to the corner table, then he poured whiskey from the bottle into a small glass.

He sipped the whiskey slowly, then he walked towards the window of his spacious room. He took another sip of his whiskey with his sharp eyes staring out the window at the twinkling lights and passing vehicles.

His memory returned to two days ago when he broke into a woman's house. And it turns out that woman is one of the employees in his office.

Regan smiled a little.

"My little cat, it turns out that our second meeting will be this soon," Regan muttered.

"I won't let you go..." Regan smiled mysteriously with her sharp gaze.

"Hah, why did I suddenly sneeze and get goosebumps?" she muttered. "Just make it scary." Angela immediately lay down on the bed and pulled the covers up to her chest.

Angela went into her division and covered her head with the bag she was carrying. Earlier she got a message from Rosie that today their director, Pak Danial, will control their division.

Without Angel noticing, Regan was standing not far behind her because she had just received a call. she watched and smiled a little when he saw Angel walking sneakily and peeking behind a door that had a small window. With sure steps and without a sound, Regan walked up to Angel who was still peeking inside.

"Hey, suspicious person. Do you intend to steal in the finance division?" Regan whispered making Angel scream in surprise.

Angel immediately turned around and her body swayed until her back hit the door behind her when she saw Regan's figure in front of her. The figure he had avoided from the start.

"Y-you?"

Regan smiled mysteriously. "Hello my naughty little cat," he called making Angel shudder.

"Do you think I don't know if you keep avoiding me? Do you think I'm that stupid that you can trick me, eh?" Regan exclaimed in a tone full of intimidation.

"W-what do you mean, Mister Director? Mmm maybe you have the wrong person," Angela exclaimed stupidly.

'Unlucky! What am I saying? It's obvious he knows my face,' Angela thought.

"Is that so?" Regan raised an eyebrow.

"I-I have to go!" Angela wanted to run away but unfortunately, Regan grabbed her arm.

"Tending to run away after trying to trick me, and make me look stupid, eh?" Regan exclaimed. "Now come with me."

"Uuugh, why? Where to?" cried Angela with wide eyes. "No, don't fire me! I'm sorry," Angela cried, pressing her palms together in front of her face.

"Apologize for-?"

" hmmm because that night I accused you of being a thief. And I'm avoiding you because I don't want to get fired. I need this job, please don't fire me," Angela cried out with a pitiful look.

Seeing Angela like that made Regan even more excited and wanted to tease her even more. Regan's watchful eyes knew that Nickolas and the Finance Manager were walking towards his place.

"Well, then we will discuss this matter later in a closed place. Now you can go back to your room," Regan called out releasing his hold on Angela.

"Good morning sir." Greet the finance manager while glancing at Angela who was bowing her head. "Ah, this is one of the employees in this division, her name is Angela."

Regan only gave a small nod and asked Nickolas as well as Adam who was the Finance Manager to follow her to leave that place.

Angela raised her head as the men left.

"Damn, it!" grumbled. "Looks like after this my day will be messed up." He could only rub his face in exasperation.

Angela just came out of her office. He was walking towards the bus stop as usual. But only a few meters away from her office, the sound of a car horn was so disturbing that Angela stopped her steps and turned to the source of the sound where a luxury sports car stopped not far from her.

He could see who the master was in the car. It was the Director Mr. Daniel or Regan. Angela walked to the car door where the glass of the car had been rolled down.

"Erm what's wrong sir?" asked Angel bending his body so he could see Regan's handsome face.

"Get on," his command sounded irresistible.

Angel looked right and left and she immediately climbed into the car without saying anything else.

"We'll discuss the matter of firing earlier," Regan said in a calm tone, making Angel's heart flutter.

'Oh my, I have to be unemployed anyway,' she thought.

Regan takes Angel to a restaurant. They sat down opposite each other and ordered their food.

"So how?" asked Angel impatiently with Regan's decision.

"Do you really need this job?" Regan asked, still teasing Angel. Yet how could he fire his employees for no apparent reason?

"Yes. I'm not like Mr. Danial, who has no shortage of living expenses, and work like this, means a lot to me," said Angel.

Regan seemed to catch his breath and sat back so relaxed and comfortable. "Okay, I'm not going to fire you because of your mistake that was rude to me a few days ago. But I have a little offer for you," Regan called out.

"W-what is that?" asked Angel.

"Are you planning on taking on a part-time job?" he asked.

"Side job?"

"Yes, with a large salary. I can give it to you," Regan exclaimed. "You just say how much salary you want. I can give it to you," Regan said, mentioning several names that managed to make Angel's eyes widen.

"But what kind of job do you offer? You didn't ask me to deceive people or kill someone, right?" cried Angel with a look of horror making Regan chuckle, and that made Angel fixate on him.

'How could God create a man as handsome and perfect as this? even when he laughs it's so melodious and so charming,' thought Angel.

"It's an easy job. You just need to be ready when I call you and ask you to come," Regan exclaimed.

"Just that?"

"Yes. How? Easy, right?"

Angel pondered for a moment. "Yeah, it's easy but it's too fishy," cried Angel.

"What's fishy? I won't do anything to you. I'm just asking for your help with some work that I might not be able to do alone," Regan exclaimed.

"Oh, like a personal assistant," said Angel.

"You could say like that. How you want?" she asked.

"Yes, what else can I do? Can I refuse, "cried Angel shrugging his shoulders.

"Smart ." Regan smiled mysteriously.
