Chapter 4 Betrayal

"Srrkhh!" Really, the taste of this alcohol is so unpleasant, it makes Minatta's throat burn, especially for people who have never tried liquor.

He was so shocked by the taste of alcohol and his body still being fondled by Bayu, Minatta was unable to control his mouth which was continuously being served alcohol.

Not knowing how many glasses Jeremy had drunk him, Minatta felt his body starting to sway and his sanity was difficult to control. This was the first time he had drunk alcohol, especially in large quantities.

Her stomach turned, and she wanted to vomit.

After the show, Jeremy finally released Minatta's jaw and stopped shovelling drinks into his mouth. The man laughed contentedly with both cheeks red, he walked back to his sofa and immediately lay down on it.

Minatta jerked his elbow against Bayu Rahardian's stomach as the man was still clutching his waist.

With what was left of his consciousness, Minatta ran to the bathroom and vomited the contents of his stomach into the sink. The alcohol he had drunk earlier was bitter and headache-inducing. Minatta realised that he was bound to get drunk, even as he felt his body falter and the objects in his vision wobble.

'Damn!' cursed Minatta blinking as he looked at himself in the glass sink. He washed his face again, then stared at his dishevelled appearance. 'I'm disappointed in you, Natt!' she muttered under her breath.

'How could you not fight back and resist them! You even drank that alcohol just because they forced you to. Weak, Minatta! Weak!' the girl shouted, slamming her bag onto the sink counter.

'I have to go home now!' Minatta quickly picked up her bag again. However, after just one step out of the toilet, her body started to wobble again. In fact, the hangover hadn't even started yet.

She didn't know who to call to pick her up and take her home. Ziana must be fast asleep at home by now, Minatta knew how strict Ziana's parents were, they wouldn't let her out in the middle of the night.

As a result, the girl ordered an online taxi.

Scratching and staggering, the girl passed people dancing on the disco floor. One hand was clutching her mobile phone, and the other was clutching the strap of her sling bag.

Minatta had no idea that walking straight could be this difficult when drunk. As soon as his body was nudged by the swaying people on the disco floor, Minatta collapsed.

'Get up, Minatta! Get up!' the girl forced after swearing harshly at the person who made her fall. 'I have to go home.'

'Hey! Minatta.' Someone from an unfamiliar bench called out to her.

'Shit! It's them again!' Minatta snorted at Bayu and his friends.

'Where are you going? Going home? What are you going home with, Dek? I've called my friend to take you home. He'll be here soon. Just wait.' Of course, Bayu was still talking in a drunken manner, but he still had his wits about him.

'No, bro!' exclaimed Minatta as she continued walking. He didn't want to get caught up with those bastard seniors again.

As he opened the glass door of the discotheque located in the basement of a building he didn't know what it was, someone who entered bumped into him and he was pushed against the wall.

'Aishh!!!' she cursed, why were there so many people to upset her tonight. What a mistake to put her through this punishment and misfortune.

'Minatta, yes?' greeted the man who had just entered.

Minatta had no idea why this man suddenly recognised him. The hallway was dimly lit and dimly lit, only the flickering disco lights flickering in and out and making his eyes sting.

'Let's go home,' the man said quickly.

'Raivin?' Finally! Minatta had recognised this man.

'Yes,' Ray replied quickly. 'Bayu called me and asked for help. He said he had a junior to take home. So that junior is you? Why are you still here at this hour?'

'Hahah!' Minatta only chuckled with increasing annoyance. How could Bayu send the very person who was the source of this misfortune, the man who had tased him earlier that morning.

'Are you drunk?' Ray watched Minatta with a concerned face. 'Gosh, how many glasses have you had?'

'One bottle? Or maybe two? Hahah.' Rest assured that Minatta was drunk.

Raivin shook his head in disbelief. He thought the girl he met this morning was an innocent girl who wouldn't dare touch liquor. 'Well, she's drinking too,' he thought.

Without further question, he carried the staggering Minatta out of the discotheque. Up the stairs to the main road.

His car was parked not far from the front of the loundry that apparently hid the discotheque in its basement.

Raivin put Minatta into the back seat with difficulty.

'Oh my! Why do I have to do this job,' Ray grumbled after sitting in front of the steering wheel. If it wasn't for the fact that he owed Bayu a favour, he wouldn't be out of the house at this time of night.

'Where's your house?' asked Raivin as he started the car.

Minatta, who was in the back seat, didn't answer. It seemed that he fell asleep as soon as his back landed on the soft backrest of the car.

'Oh my...' Raivin sighed tiredly, he had no idea where to take this girl. He wasn't from the same department as her either, so Raivin had no idea who Minatta's friendship circle was that he could ask.

While Raivin was still trying to ask Minatta where he should take her, his mobile phone suddenly rang. It turned out that his uncle who worked at one of the state-owned enterprises was texting him.

[Uncle Daniel]: Ray, Uncle has to go with the team to Bandung tonight. Maybe we can go back to the hotel tomorrow afternoon. Oh, please help me, Ray. Tonight, just take your things to the hotel.

Raivin took a short breath. OK, he'll just go to the hotel first before taking this girl home.
