"Their gaze!" Chelsea replied briefly.
Captain Murdock walked towards his room, leaving everyone in the central room. Evan followed him from behind along with the guards.
In the control room, there were only Chelsea, Arva, and Livie, accompanied by the camera surveillance crew. They chatted and got to know each other. "Hi, I'm Arva, and who are you?" Arva greeted Chelsea warmly.
"Chelsea, a surgeon," Chelsea replied briefly. "By the way, who are you?" Chelsea asked in return.
"I'm Arva, an amateur researcher," Arva answered with a playful tone, laughing. Chelsea turned and asked again, "Are you the one who created that formula?" with great curiosity.
"Yeah, that's right," Arva casually replied.
They engaged in an exciting conversation, sharing stories about their professions and how they ended up there. Livie, being the youngest, could only stare in astonishment as she listened to their conversation.
"So, you really discovered the right formula to control werewolf emotions?" Chelsea was interested in Arva's recent discovery.
"Yes, although its success hasn't been tested yet. But during the laboratory trials, everything went smoothly," Arva tried to provide details about her discovery.
Chelsea looked at Livie, who seemed confused. "How did you end up here?" Chelsea asked kindly but with a look of surprise.
"My parents were killed by wolves... um... human-like creatures that resemble wolves. Then this sister," Livie pointed towards Arva, "and a soldier brought me here," Livie answered with a trembling and nervous voice.
"Don't worry, as long as you're with me, you'll be safe," Chelsea tried to reassure Livie.
Shortly after, Captain Murdock emerged from his room. Evan signaled to Chelsea and Arva to take Livie to a special room for her safety. After Livie entered and felt secure, they gathered in the central room.
"We will recruit people and train them to become hunters. We're short on personnel to fight against the large number of werewolves, and we'll try using our new weapons," Captain Murdock issued his orders.
"You mean the weapons with ammunition mixed with Arva's formula?" Chelsea asked with a serious expression.
"Yes, we'll give it a try. If it succeeds, it will be a significant victory, and you will become heroes," the captain motivated them.
The troops, under Captain Murdock's leadership, prepared themselves with their new weapons. Evan appeared to be the most meticulous and serious in his preparations. Chelsea admired Evan's dedication. Suddenly, the captain, who had been observing Chelsea all this time, approached and patted her shoulder. "He's our most reliable member, like a killing machine for us," the captain exclaimed. Chelsea, taken aback, responded with a sweet smile.
"So, our goal in hunting werewolves is to disable and control them?" Chelsea continued with a few questions.
"Yes, if we can control them, there would be no need to kill them," the captain calmly replied.
"But I want to kill them!" Chelsea began to show her anger, as she still sought revenge for the deaths of her parents.
Captain Murdock looked at Chelsea's face. "Are you sure? You need to equip yourself before going into battle," the captain advised.
"I will do anything to seek revenge," Chelsea spoke passionately.
"Then, all of you will train with volunteers who want to become werewolf hunters," the captain replied and left Arva and Chelsea.
In the Forest
Luna was seen sitting alone, gazing at the sky in the middle of the grassy field. Ariel appeared from behind and sat next to her.
"What are you thinking?" Ariel initiated the conversation.
"I feel like life is stagnant, no changes. Every day is just about killing, with no satisfaction," Luna expressed her restlessness.
"That's been bothering me too, it feels the same as what you just asked," Ariel commented on Luna's opinion.
"Ariel, do you truly want a change in your life?" Luna asked curiously.
"Yes, Luna. I hope we can live side by side with humans, and we can learn from them about their way of life, and vice versa," Ariel was so obsessed with his desire to live in peace without any warfare.
"I feel the same way, I want life to be colorful, not monotonous like this," Luna replied in a flat tone.
Ariel was surprised by Luna's answer and looked at her beautiful face. "Is there something else that made you change your mind?" Ariel asked.
Luna remained silent, then she stood up and smiled as she said, "I don't know, but I want to marry a human." Luna ran off after expressing her desire.
Ariel fell silent, then he smiled and chased after Luna. While running, Ariel asked Luna again, "What made you think about marrying a human?"
"I don't want to have a child who becomes a killer like me!" Luna answered while speeding up her run. Ariel leaped and caught Luna, who was running fast, and they tumbled on the grass.
"Am I not handsome enough to captivate you and become your husband?" Ariel teased Luna.
"You're handsome, Ariel. But I don't feel anything more than just being true friends," Luna replied softly.
Ariel smiled, "In that case, let's make our dreams come true, Luna. Let's escape from here and try to integrate with humans." Ariel presented an absurd idea to Luna.
Luna fell silent. "It's not that easy, Ariel. Humans won't easily believe in creatures like us, especially when we're currently sounding the war drums." Luna lowered her head.
Ariel remained silent, agreeing with Luna's opinion. Perhaps humans would kill him the moment they first met, Ariel thought to himself.
Finally, Ariel and Luna were at the edge of a high valley, with a breathtaking view of the moon. They spent time together there.
