Chapter 4 03 - Special Guest

Early in the morning, Trisya was awakened by Layla. Trisya was sure, it was still not time to get up early as usual. She should still be able to sleep a few more minutes. Moreover, last night she stayed up late because she thought that today she would meet the main character in the novel.

"Layla, please be quiet! And wake me up as usual when it's time! I'm still sleepy now," Trisya whined.

"But, Lady, today you must prepare to meet Prince Terry," Layla said.

"Oke oke. I'll get ready later, as usual. Besides, what special thing do I have to prepare for for you to wake me up this early?" wondered Trisya.

"Of course you must dress up. You must look charming in front of the Prince, Lady," Layla explained, which made Trisya open her eyes.

"Hasn't Trisya's face been beautiful all along? Every time I look in the mirror, this face already looks beautiful, even if you don't dress it up, really," Trisya was confused.

"Of course it's different, Lady. I mean, a special kind of beautiful. Because you have an important guest to come," Layla was still arguing with Trisya. But that was her job. She had to prepare Trisya as well as possible to appear in front of the Crown Prince.

"Can this beautiful face become even more beautiful? Are you sure, Layla?"

"Of course, Lady. The other maids and I will dress you up to the best of our ability, so that His Royal Highness will be impressed with-"

"Never mind, never mind! You've mentioned his name enough already. What amazement? Even I used to look so shameful in his eyes," Trisya annoyed, remembering one of the things that kept her up at night.

"Eh?"

"You want to dress me up, right? Let's go, I'm tired of arguing," Trisya annoyed. She became angry again when she remembered Trisya's embarrassing past. 'And anyway, how handsome is Prince Terry that you're bringing down your dignity as a noble princess, Trisya? You bastard! You did it, but I have to pay for it now,' Trisya thought.

"I've prepared water for you to bathe in, Lady," Layla said with a sweet smile on her lips. Of course the girl was happy, because she had won and managed to wake up her lady.

"Oke, thank you," said Trisya. While in the bathroom, Trisya couldn't stop grumbling.

"Married what? Are all antagonists in novels that aggressive? I know, in the novel, Prince Terry is described with such a perfect physical description. And I immediately liked it when I read it. It's just that, asking him to marry you? You're the craziest antagonist I've ever known, Trisya."

"Hey, you! You'd better come back soon! You're the one who has to bear this shame! Leave me out of it!" she ranted.

After her bath, the maids helped Trisya put on one of her best dresses. "Why does it have to be pink?" she asked.

"Lady- isn't this your favorite color?" The maid who was helping Trisya reflexively asked back.

"This dress is too flashy. I don't like it. From now on, I will reduce my love for pink. So find me another dress!" Trisya pleaded.

"But more than half of your dress is pink, Lady," the maid replied.

Trisya let out a long sigh. She immediately turned to the large cupboard filled with fancy dresses that belonged to the real Trisya. 'Oh my! The taste of this child has too bad,' Trisya thought.

Finally, Trisya chose a blue dress with the simplest style and prepared to wear it.

"But, Lady, isn't that dress too simple to meet the Prince?" asked her maid.

"This is good, really. I like it," Trisya replied.

"Lady-"

"What? I want to wear this dress anyway. Didn't you say you were going to dress me up really pretty, Layla? No matter what dress I wear, I'll still look good if you manage to dress me up," Trisya cut off Layla who had just approached her.

Layla could only sigh in resignation. At first, she thought Trisya would be very enthusiastic about meeting Prince Terry. But the opposite was true. Ever since earlier, her lady seemed to be in a grumpy mood. In fact, according to the news she had heard so far, Trisya was very fond of the Crown Prince. And that was welcomed by her parents - because the Lovatta family had a very good relationship with the royal family.

As Trisya had expected, it turned out that Layla would be doing her makeup for a much longer time than usual. Not to mention that Trisya protested this and that. She didn't want to overdo it, which would only make the main male character mark her even more.

"This is enough. Wow... it took you so long to dress me up, Layla. The Prince isn't coming until noon, is he?"

"Who said that, Miss? The Prince and Young Master will be here soon. They will join us for breakfast at this residence," Layla replied with a bright smile on her face.

"WHAT?!"

***

Trisya stood between her parents, waiting for the prince's carriage in the courtyard of their castle. She turned to her parents who looked impatient. Especially the mother - Duchess Amara even openly flirted with her youngest daughter once in a while.

"Mom, Dad, why don't we wait for them in the dining room?" Trisya asked.

"Of course we should welcome them here, my daughter. The one coming this time is the Crown Prince," replied Duke Gerald.

"Oke, then?"

"He is a core member of the kingdom, one of the four people we respect the most. It is only proper that we treat them with the utmost respect," the Duke replied back.

"Ah, here they are!" said the Duchess as she pointed to a magnificent-looking horse-drawn carriage, with two large horses pulling it. Beside the carriage, Trisya could see her brother - Darian smiling at her.

Trisya's face immediately turned red. She remembered what Layla had said last night. It felt like she no longer had the face to face the prince, although she admitted, she was very curious about the real form of the character described with the most perfect physical features in the world of this novel.

"Mom, can I go to the bathroom for a while?" asked Trisya. Really, she had to find a way to escape from here immediately.

"You must be very nervous, my daughter, but can you hold it for a while longer? You should at least come to greet His Majesty first. Because he must be disappointed if he doesn't see you coming to greet him," the Duchess explained so gently.

"Eh? Am I that important? There's already Mommy and Daddy," Trisya was confused.

"Aren't you His Majesty's future bride? Of course your presence here will be very important," the Duchess replied.

Trisya stiffened. Why was her mother teasing her even more? She might actually pee her pants at this rate. At first, she just wanted to go to the bathroom to escape. But after hearing Duchess's words, Trisya suddenly wanted to throw something inside her body.

"Damn, what if I wet my pants?" Trisya muttered softly.

Within seconds, the horse-drawn carriage stopped right in front of the owner of the carriage - a member of the Lovatta family. The bodyguard got down from the horse and opened the carriage. Slowly, the main character of the novel, began to appear in Trisya's eyes. And once the man got down from the carriage, Trisya was completely taken aback by his charm.

"My sister, what are you doing!" Darian immediately covered Trisya's slightly open mouth - a result of being amazed by the great presented before her.

"Huh? What's wrong with me?" confused Trisya. She hadn't fully realized that she was about to drool if Darian didn't wake her up immediately.

But, really. She had no idea that there was a human like the one in front of her. Prince Terry Isccora was indeed described as a figure with a perfect physique. However, Trisya really did not expect that even the word perfect was not even worthy to describe the man's appearance.

"Welcome, Your Royal Highness," greeted the Duke and Duchess in unison, and immediately bowed their heads.

As for Trisya, she was still mesmerized by the handsome face in front of her, to the point that she didn't realize that everyone there was now bowing respectfully to the man, except for her. And of course, that caught Prince Terry's attention. The figure that Trisya admired turned his head towards her. Making Trisya even more nervous and not knowing what to do.

"You look much healthier than I thought," Prince Terry said in a cold tone.

Trisya understood that the Prince was speaking to her. She felt that the air supply around her was getting low. Not to mention, the 'need to go to the bathroom' feeling was becoming excruciating. Trisya even had to step on her own feet because it felt like she was really 'at the end'.

"Ss- sorry, but can I go to the bathroom? I think I've been holding it in for too long, and it's very uncomfortable," Trisya said in the end.

To hell with embarrassment! She would be far more embarrassed if she wet her pants in front of everyone, especially the Prince. It was enough that the original Trisya burdened her with the shame of her request for the Prince to marry her. Don't let Trisya have another trauma that will make her even more faceless in front of a man as handsome as Prince Terry.

Trisya's words had not only caught Prince Terry's attention. But also his parents, brother, and several maids and bodyguards who were standing close to them.

"Trisya," reprimanded the Duke, as the main person in charge of this place.

"It's okay. Go on!" said Prince Terry.

And unexpectedly, Trisya took off at a gallop after that, heading for the bathroom closest to the front courtyard. Some of the maids - not to mention Layla - immediately excused themselves to follow their lady.

Meanwhile, everyone left in the courtyard seemed at a loss for words. Including the Duke and Duchess whose faces instantly turned pale, worried that their beloved daughter would get into trouble for being disrespectful in front of the Crown Prince.

"Please forgive my sister's behavior, Your Royal Highness," whispered Darian, who stood the closest to Prince Terry. Prince Terry turned his head towards his friend, and smiled meaningfully. But really, it just made the entire Lovatta Family Castle residents even more anxious. Because they all knew that all this time, the Prince did not really like the Lady of the Lovatta family. The Prince often showed his uneasiness over the disturbances of little Trisya who often openly showed her love. So, wouldn't this be an excuse for Prince Terry to give a little 'punishment' to the 'naughty girl'?
