Chapter 2 Second Job

Driving away from the Dairy Queen Jason was a little irritated about the fact he was called Macy by the girl helping them. Checking his phone Jason saw that his girlfriend had sent him a chat. Face ID wasn't working so he had to type in his passcode 070403.

The message read " I'm sure it was an honest mistake" Truth be told Jason had already complained to Brooke about the short interaction he had at DQ.

"Yeah yeah, I know it just frustrates me because I don't want to be compared to her"

" Jason, I understand your frustration but she doesn't even know who you are so it shouldn't be a big deal"

"Okay fine, I'll drop it" Jason now obviously a little agitated because Brooke didn't agree with him set his phone down. He had gone for an interview the week before and was no longer looking forward to working there. But none the less DQ was a better option than the motel he worked at doing housekeeping every day and the odd time he would do dishes for them. In his eyes the management were not respectful of their employees so once he got back to town he texted his boss.

"Hey Chris, I would just like to inform you that this will be my last two weeks here, I'm moving to the town over due to the fact my mom is moving in with her boyfriend, seeing as I don't have a vehicle it won't be conviennent for me to look for rides just to work here."

"Okay thank you for letting us know. We do have options for you to stay here if you'd like."

Absolutely not, never in a million years would Jason ever want to stay there because then he'd be worked even harder than before it would be his last straw. "Sure I'll think about it." Obviously it wasn't going to be a yes but he did not want to be rude to management while he was still working there. After replying to Chris Jason turned his phone off and went to watch a movie.
