Chapter 4 Lyon

Julianna's POV

"I should have come sooner, Julianna..."

Lyon's voice echoed in my head all morning.

Why didn't I notice Lyon earlier, when did he fall in love with me?

Was it today?

I sat in the garden and thought of all the scenes that had happened, the movies that had been played over and over in my head, but in my previous life, I had very few memories of Lyon, even, I could feel my fear of him.

If anything, it's because I heard Gideon mention that his 25-year-old uncle had multiple personality disorders.

He seemed to have been in treatment in the United States until he was 18 years old. My heart again fainted in pain, I do not know because of the past remaining hatred or because of my tired body, I sighed, and picked up a cup to drink a strong black tea.

Now that I've been reborn, nothing like what happened that stormy night will ever happen again, and I will plan my revenge step by step, and I will send Gideon, Bella, and all the other hypocrites behind them to hell!

"The Engagement Party is a week away," I muttered to myself as I turned my head slightly and stared at the Teacup in my hand.

As long as the engagement party didn't happen, the date of my wedding with that bastard wouldn't be announced.

Breaking up with Gideon was just the beginning of my revenge, and I wanted more than just to break up with him, I wanted to drive Gideon to his death, to make him a complete disgrace to the Alexanders, to discredit Bella, let everyone know how dark inside her!

"It's still not enough..." I shook my head slowly, thinking of how I was almost defiled by those dirty men before I died in my previous life and the cold tone of Gideon's phone. I wanted them all to die!

I'm gonna kill them myself. I'm gonna kill those nasty bugs that used to drive me to my death!

"Miss Wise, we have a visitor!" Said Susan Smith, the maid, as she walked out into the yard and whispered in my ear

My thoughts were instantly drawn back to reality from painful memories and hatred.

"Who is it?" I took a deep breath and put down my teacup.

"A guest of Mr Alexander's said to be his uncle, but the man looks very young, or you want me to tell him that Mr Alexander just left, and let him go?" Susan was wary, but she was a kind person, I knew she was afraid of the bad guys coming in and hurting me.

Now, no one can hurt me!

"You mean, that guy said it was Gideon's uncle?" My heart started racing, but I managed to steady my voice so it didn't sound too shaky.

Susan nodded. I felt a little suffocated in my chest--I was so nervous!

Before I knew it, I was up and tidying up my pale blue sweater, my fingers combing through my long blond hair.

At this time in my last life, I seem to have followed Gideon to the mall to pick out shoes for tonight's party, and this time I found an excuse to stay home, not expecting Lyon to drop by!

Now that he arrived, it may be fate, then, let our meeting begin a few hours earlier!
