that I fall across the ground, on my back and jumped on top of me.
"Stop fighting and you might actually
enjoy this, Bitch!" he said kissing my neck and licking my face,
"Louis! Let me go!" I cried out but one nearby, those who nearby
were to drank to do anything.
"Know one can hear you, so just shut
up!" He covering my mouth with is hand, I kick my legs but he was
stronger than me, and I slowly began to fade away. This so is it he
gonna have his way with me tears were rolling down my cheeks, but
just when I began to loss hope, I saw a shadow figure, "let her go
you bastard!" he cried as he grabbed the guy that was top of me by
the neck and dragged him off me, he through him to the ground, and
began to punched him, until he stopped moving, I was still laying on
the ground, he walked to me, he breathing heavily, I was so scared.
"Are you okay?" he asked helping me
up. I just hugged him crying, "It's okay am here now, I shouldn't
have left you alone." he said anger in his voice.
"Can you take home, please." I said
in a soft voice. We walked to his car, he was still holding me closer
to him. We got the restaurant, where I had left my car, I got out
his, he walked me to my car where I had packed it.
"Am sorry." he said hold both my
hands. I just removed them from his, "It's not your fault." I
said not looking at him. I got into my car and drove off, and I just
left him standing there. I got home and pulled up in the drive way, I
looked at my phone and it was 8pm, I walked in, could hear voice
coming from the living room, when they heard me coming, "Jennet!"
Mom said standing up.
"Where have you been? I have been
calling your cell." she said worriedly. "I went to see a friend."
I said not face them. My walked over to me grabbed me face.
"What happened to your face? Did
someone hit you?" Mom asked with concern looking at me. Dad got up
walked over to us looked at me.
"Um.. I..um.., I fell." I said
stuttering. They just stared at me suspiciously, not convinced.
"Honey tell me who did this to you."
Dad said angrily, holding my face up. "Don't worry dad, its
nothing." I said assuredly.
"No! You have to tell us, right now."
Mom said with authority.
"Mom! It fine, am gonna go up to take
a shower." I said as I walked to my room.
I went straight into the shower, I
couldn't get the get image of him toughing me, out of my mind, I
stayed in the shower for half an hour, I walked out of the shower
and I put on my nightgown, and I just through myself on the bed,
moments later, I heard a knock on the door, I didn't answer but then
I heard it again, I knew this was not gonna stop.
"Jennet honey, it's mom open up."
she said softly. I knew she would let me off so easily, after a few
of her knocks, I opened and she walked in, she sat on the side of my
bed.
"What really happened?" she asked
looking at me. I wasn't used to lying to my parents, I just laid my
head on her laps, and I told her what happened, I also told her about
Louis, but I left out the revenge part and the fact that his
responsible for Sophie.
"Please don't tell dad." I said.
She looked at for a second, and sighed, "Listen honey, I know your
just starting to like boys but you've to be careful with them, they
can be...." she said looking at me, I just groaned for some reason
she always find a way to make me feel better.
"Go and eat your food before it gets
cold." Mom said getting up. I woke up to my alarm clock, I pick it
up and throw it a cross the room in frustration, and go back to
sleep, but minutes later, I was brought back to reality by the buzz
on my phone, it was text. Check it and it was from Louis.
"Good morning sunshine, how you
feeling?" He asked, I wasn't in the mood to reply, but I received
another one.
"C'mon, April I just want to know how
your feeling, please say something." he said, it was becoming
annoying.
I walked downstairs, and everyone was
sitting, well almost everyone, it didn't feel the same without
Sophie, the more I thought about her, the big the pain I grew.
My brother was already seated so was my
dad, "Morning Dad." I said as, I gave him a kiss on the cheek,
"Morning honey." he said not looking at me, he was busy on the
phone, probably looking for donor, I sat next to Jack.
"Whats up bro." I said. "So how
did your date go?" he whispered in my ear. "It wasn't a date."
I said defensively, he just looked at me with a smirk, "aah..."
"Should I tell dad, that you brought
a girl over and you were......" I whimpering back at him. "Oh!
You wouldn't dare." he said, and I sighed looked at me with a frown
on is face. "Try me." I said looking at him. Seconds later my mom
brought plates for us, she set them on that dinner table and sat
beside dad, I prayed.
"Mom, Dad, am Sasha called me and
told me that we're writing a test this week, so I be going back to
college." I said.
"So when will you be leaving?" Dad
asked looking at me.
"This Saturday." I said. After
diner, I went back to my room, I checked on my phone and I found 5
missed call from Louis, it rang as I was holding it in my hand and
just answered it.
"What!" I yelled.
"Whoa! Chill girlfriend, where you
expecting someone else?" she asked on the other side. "Sasha!"
I said surprised.
"Yeah!" she said confused. "I
thought you were, someone else." I said in a low voice.
"His giving you a hard time?" she
asked curiously. "Who?" I asked playing dumb.
"You tell me? By the way how did your
date go?" she asked anxiously waiting for my answer.
"Well, it started off great, but it
ended terribly." I said. I told her how I almost got raped and how
I was by my foe.
"You don't say, her you ready to call
it quits, now?" she said on the other line. I wasn't ready to stop
not until, I make him feel what I was feeling.
"Not just yet." I received a
notification, that a call was waiting on the line, and this time I
checked to confirm it was really Louis, "Hi." I said cheerfully.
"Why her you avoiding me?" he said
his voice sounded so serious.
"Am not avoiding you, I was
just.....busy." I said.
"Busy aah, look April, I am sorry
about that night, I promise it will never happen again." he said
assuredly. "This time it'll just be the two of us." he asked
waiting for my response.
"I, uh, okay." I said and could
hear him, shouting on the other line. "Don't over do it." I said.
We chatted for a while.
I started to pack my things, it was a
Thursday and the date was set for Friday, I have to go on one last
date. The day came and he was waiting for at the place, I got there
and this time he was standing out side waiting for me, I left my car
home, so I took a cab, I got out of the cab, he saw me and a smile
filled is face.
"I thought you wouldn't show." he
said as he pulled me into a tight hug.
"I missed you." he said still
holding me.
"How many girls have you said that
too, Huh?" I said, and with that I changed is mood, he let me go
and stared at me fuzzily.
"Why do you always have to ruin the
moment, huh." he said and he just sighed sadly.
"Should we go?" he said and we
walked to his car, he opened the car door for me, I got in, and he
drove off, "Where are we going?" I asked.
"Do you like parties?" he asked.
"Am not really a party person, but...." I mumbled.
"Okay, I take that as a yes." he
said not looking at me, just focusing on the road. He pulled over
this beautiful white mansion that looked like the white house, we got
out the car and walked to the front door, which was made of wood, he
knocked on it, as he held my hand in his, seconds later the door
opened, and a guy who looked to be in his early twenties, stood at
the door.
"Your here?" the guy said with a
smile on his face.
"Of course." he said as they shook
hands. "Whose the beautiful miss." he asked and I blushed, "
this is April." Louis said. "Hi." I said with a half smile,
offering my hand. He took it and kissed it.
"Am Davis but you can call me Dave."
he said as he wink at me, and I just smiled shyly.
"Okay! You can lets go of her hand
now." Louis said jealously, breaking the hold between me Dave, we
walked passed Dave, was still holding my hand. "What was that?"
Louis asked with a little bit jealous on his face.
"What was what? wait a minute are you
Jealous?" I said chuckling, looking at him and he quickly looked
away, "What! Don't be funny." he said. I could see that he was, I
getting close. We reached a large open space, that was full of people
or teens. "Where is the birthday, girl!" Louis said and everyone
turned to look at him, and cheered, walked to group of his friends,
"Hey!" he said. They all seemed like nice, we were talking and it
felt like I had known them for years, a girl who was blind folded
walked out one of the room.
