Chapter 9 RESPONSIBILITY

Mrs. Anna was enjoying a cup of warm chamomile tea. She sat down and looked at the fashion magazine given by Cassandra. Suddenly her cell phone rang. There was a call from the girl.

"Hello!" Mrs. Anna was bringing the phone closer to her right ear.

"Hello, Anna, this is Cassandra. I want to ask you something" Cassandra said on the phone.

"Yes, what?" Mrs. Anna said.

"I couldn't reach Lexi on the phone since last night, is he at home?" Cassandra asked. Sunday night, she and Lexi were supposed to meet again.

"As usual Lexi is not at home! He's always in his apartment! Maybe he's still sleeping. It might be he turned off the phone" Mrs. Anna answered. She shook his head, lest this time she lost a perfect future daughter-in-law like Cassandra.

"Oh well, I'll try to call him later. Happy weekend, Thank you Anna" Cassandra said. Lexi made her very upset.

The phone call ended.

Mrs Anna took a sip of tea from her glass. Then, she focused back to the phone screen cause there was a phone call from someone else.

"Hello, My Lady, I'm so excited! I have something to tell you!" the man said on the other side of the phone. Galih is person who trusted by of Mrs. Anna and Mr. Atmaja to spy Lexi.

"What?" Mrs. Anna asked. As a mother, she didn't want to let Lexi go. She spied her son through the maids when Lexi in the apartment and villa. About Galih, he spied when Lexi doing activities outside the home.

"It's about Mr. Lexi, Ma'am. It's been a few days he touched a girl. Last night he took the girl to spend the night in one of the family's villa"Galih said confidently.

"Really? Who's that girl?" Mrs. Anna asked. It seemed like a wrong guess, she thought Lexi was just interested in Cassandra. It turned out that her son chose to touched another woman.

"I've sent the girl's personal data to your email, Ma'am!"said Galih.

"Where is the girl now? Where's Lexi?". Mrs. Anna was curious about the figure of the girl who was close to his son. For five years, since Lexi was left by his wife, Mrs. Anna never heard about news of Lexi being close to a woman. Her son preferred to shut himself in the apartment. Even if he closed to a woman, it chosen by Mrs. Anna.

"From my investigation, the girl is still in the villa with Mr. Lexi!" Galih answered confidently.

"Keep investigating right now. I'll go to villa soon to meet them"Mrs. Anna was excited.

"Yes, Ma'am."

Mrs. Anna immediately prepared. She was so excited, for a moment so she immediately forgot about her desire to make Cassandra to be her daughter-in-law. If Lexi took the girl for the night, wouldn't Lexi be interested in her?

"Where are you going?" Mr. Atmaja asked. Sunday is the day that they usually spend at home. Sometimes some business partner come.

"Do you want to go with me?" she offered. She changed clothes then wore make-up quickly.

"Where are you going?"

"I want to meet my future daughter-in-law!" Mrs. Anna said excitedly.

Mr. Atmaja shook his head slowly and thought his wife was a little strange. It was not new for this man when he saw that his wife was thinking about wanting to have grandchild soon.

Mrs. Anna was in the car on the way to the villa. She sat in the back seat. One of her hand held on her phone. She read all the information on email she had just received. It was about the personal data of the girl who spent time with her son.

The girl was named Jessica, and grew up in an orphanage. For a moment, Mrs. Anna was stunned. Her son was not as picky as she had thought all along. She went to great lengths to find beautiful women with various promising professions, hoping that Lexi would choose one of them. It turned out that Lexi's choice fell on a young girl who had just graduated from school.

Then, Mrs. Anna focused on looking at the girl's photo. "What a sweet girl" she whispered. White skin, long hair, and tall body.

She told the driver to drive the car quickly because she couldn't wait to meet the girl.

The car arrived at villa. The car stopped in the garage next to the house. Mrs Anna immediately went downstairs and barged in villa.

"Where's Lexi!" she shouted. "Where is he!" she repeated as she walked into the living room.

"Ijah, where is Lexi?"Mrs. Anna asked.

"Mr. Lexi...," the maid stopped speak. Her face looked confused.

"Where?" Mrs. Anna snapped looking towards the maid who seemed to be hiding something.

"Mr. Lexi is still in his room".

Then, Mrs. Anna immediately stepped foot towards the top floor. Parti and the maids followed her.

"Get the duplicate key now!" Mrs. Anna said after trying to open the door that locked.

""Good Ma'am!" the maid went back downstairs and gave the key to her.

Before opening the door Mrs. Anna looked towards the maids. "Who was inside with Lexi?"

"A girl Ma'am.This morning the girl wanted to escape but Mr. Lexi brought her back into the room" the maid was being honest.

"What? Wait! Did something happen to both of them last night?" Mrs. Anna's focus is divided. One side she wants to have grandchildren soon but the other side it was scare that Lexi did something wrong.

"I don't know Ma'am" the maid answered.

"You all get out of here!" Mrs. Anna prepared to open the door.

Jessica's pajamas was open. Her neck was full of red marks by Lexi. It was too lust. It was all cause by Jessica. Her touch, her body, her scent are all there is to the girl. Like a magnet, a magnet that turned him on. Only one that he couldn't reach. It is Jessica's heart.

Yeah. Lexi is not too easy to fell in love for a woman. The only woman who got his love is his ex-wife who is now gone.

"Are you going to rape me? Why don't you just kill me!"Jessica stared in disgust.

"No! I'm not going to hurt you or get people to like you! Don't try to escape or kill yourself!"Lexi said. The more Jessica said, the more he felt excited.

The room door opened. Mrs. Anna came into the room. She found Lexi and a girl sitting on the bed as they was hiding something. The mother was present at an inopportune moment, at a time when his lust was on top.

"What are you doing, Lexi? Who taught you to act insolently like this! Mama does want grandchildren but this is not the way!" Mrs. Anna bluffed and walked closer. She stared at Lexi sharply.

Lexi was on silent. He was busy suppressing his lust. Fortunately, he had not taken off the underwear that Jessica was wearing.

"What's your name?" Mrs. Anna asked kindly.

"My name Is Jessica," the girl softly felt a little calm and secure due to the presence of Mrs. Anna.

"What did Lexi do to you?" Mrs. Anna said.

"He raped me" Jessica said with a shaky voice.

"Lexi, you're too outrageous! You could go to jail for this! You have to take responsibility! Or Mama will report you to the police!" Mrs. Anna threatened him. Lexi was just on silent.

He turned to Jessica and hugged her. "Calm down" Mrs. Anna rubbed Jessica's shoulder to make Jessica calm.

"You should marry Jessica because you've taken away of Jessica most precious thing!" The mother was strict.

Lexi felt guilty. One thing was for sure, he couldn't marry a woman he didn't love.
