Chapter 9 I'm a Vampire

The worst situation Nathan didn't want to encounter had just happened to him , someone will soon find out what he was.

" Wake up!" He shouted waking Sam up. As soon as the latter woke up he crawled away from Nathan with fear

" What are you " Sam asked cautiously

" Are you sure you want to know? " He asked which made Sam nod his head " I'm a vampire .... i think "

For a few seconds there was awkward silence , Sam just stared at him . Nathan sighed as he thought he life was over he was sure Sam will tell people

" THAT'S SO COOL" Sam yelled in joy " How did you become one huh ? ... did you make a deal with the devil, did you rise up from the dead "

" HUH" Nathan didn't expect all this from Sam " errmm I was bitten by one guy " Nathan answered

" Cool!!!!" Sam exclaimed

Nathan now knew who this kid is he was someone who was obsessed with all fictional stuffs

" So how old are you 10,000 years?"

" No I'm 15 , I just became a vampire about 4 days ago" Nathan answered slightly annoyed

" But...... You don't look like a vampire, you're even shorter than i am " Sam asked the boy looking at him up and down "Maybe you are still a vampire Halfling "

" What's that ?" Nathan had never heard anything like that

" That means you are still kinda human and vampire at the same time you'll still evolve into a full fledged vampire " Sam explained

What Sam said made sense to Nathan when he researched about vampires all he heard was they had perfect bodies

" Come let's go home " Nathan suggested as the two boys departed and concluded to meet again tomorrow

***The next day***

Today was the last day of school this week and Nathan had explained everything to Sam about how he could sometimes read people thoughts

and how he knew something was wrong with Amy

" So you're saying Amy knows something " Sam said placing his hand on his chin

" Yeah I think" Nathan said

Sam deep down didn't want to believe Nathan because he liked Amy but this was different Nathan was special he could read thoughts

Amy walked towards the boys which made them to look away and try to act neutral

" Why are you guys acting like I'm a stranger " she giggled " Well anywhere , I heard the janitor was killed by a bear "

Nathan stared at her with curiosity , she had stopped acting weird like the last few days that means she may had misconcluded about something that had to do with a wolf

" They found bear fur on the body " She said

Nathan currently didn't know why she was behaving like her usual self again

" O......k" Nathan and Sam said

" Maybe you're theory about mutant animals was true " She concluded before walking away

The two boys walked through the passage as they continued to talk

" Nathan let's go investigate that abandoned lab down the road" Sam suggested

" Why? "Nathan asked " Don't tell me you still believe in than mutant animals theory"

" Well then what do you think is making animals go savage and kill people " Sam countered

Nathan sighed in defeat, just then a boy with blonde hair and hazel eyes walked over to them and wrapped his hands over their shoulders, a boy they both knew well Blake.

"Sup losers .. I just overhead you guys talking about mutant animals and checking out the old rusty lab " Blake said

" Soooo???" Nathan said

" I want to join you guys to investigate the lab " Blake answered

" Why will you want to do that " Sam asked cautiously, he didn't want to hang out with someone who bullied him

" Well because it's fun and challenging to break the rules " Blake excitedly answered

" We'll think about it " Sam said before dragging Nathan to a corner

" I'm sure that guy is lying " Sam declared

" Hmmm I'm not sure he's lying " Nathan said

" How are you sure " Sam asked

" I couldn't smell any dishonesty in his words " Nathan answered

" WAIT WHAT!!" Sam shouted drawing attention to himself as he face turned red " you can smell emotions too cool" he whispered

" Yeah kind of "

The two boys walked over to Blake who was currently admiring his face on a mirror

" We have made up our minds .... we are allowing you to follow us to check out the lab " Nathan said

" Ok cool let's meet by 9: 00 pm " Blake said walking away
