Chapter 5 Tailor made

The next day Luke Is wearing his casual clothes, standing outside of a small tailor shop, with two suited up mannequins in the shop window, by the looks of It, the shop seems of plentiful style. Luke pushing the gold handle down, the sign to let customers know whether It Is 'open' or 'closed', swings with the door opening, walking in.

Luke closing the door behind himself. The first thing he also yourself will notice is a noise that resembles a chirping bird, as he looks at the elderly grey bushy haired fella, even his mustache is grey, but it is twirled at each end, behind the counter, over his shoulder is a doorway, with the light on but can't see anything of Interest within. He must be wearing a suit which he has tailored for himself. There is the shops stock scattered around on mannequins, or just suit jackets hanging up ready to be sold. To the elderly fella's left, two dark brown leather sofas facing each other, a glass coffee tablein the middle separating them, some magazines stacked neatly In a pile on its right side, two top hat cup coasters one on each side of the coffee table.

The elderly fella says asking "Hello sir, how are you doing on this lovely sunny day?"

Luke walking deeper into this establishment, walking up to the counter.

Luke responds asking "It is a lovely day, I am well, are you? I also got left this key by my grandfather?"

His old eyes twinkle with joy, from behind his half lensed glasses as he smiles at Luke, he proceeds too take his glasses off, folding a temple arm with the other hooking them in his chest pocket, while closing his sales record book, with his black fountain pen acting as his bookmark, he grabs his carved wooden cane, walking around his shops wooden cash registers counter, talking of tills he has one of them antique gold cash register.

The elder fella responds saying "I am very well, thanks for asking young man, I have been waiting for you, but you know sorry to hear of your grandads passing. A fine man always gave me good business."

Luke responds asking "Was he? Tell me more as I have never met him."

The elderly fella responds saying "My name is Mr Ernest Devise, that key is for a suit that your grandfather, had me tailor for you."

Luke responds asking "How did he know what my size I was going to be."

Mr Devise responds saying "Well with such intelligence, I will tell you what he told me, as long as he isn't a fat man, he will be this size, he designed a mannequin on what size you will be, by what I can remember he isn't wrong."

Mr Devise changes his view by stepping a couple of steps to the left, lining said suited mannequin in the background with Luke.

Luke looks over his shoulder seeing the mannequin.

He asks "Is that the suit?"

Ernest responds saying "No my dear boy, it has been put away, it has its own box, a very nice box if I might say so myself."

Luke asks "Did you make the box?"

He nods after takes the key from Luke, Mr Devise walking back around the counter.

Ernest carries on saying to ask "That however is themannequin. Would you like a hot beverage my dear boy?"

While he pulls a oak box off from one of the counter's shelves.

Luke responds saying "Yes please, I will have a tea with two sugars."

He places It on the counter, it has a metal plaque family crest in the middle of the oak box, while Mr Devise is unlocking the box with the key that Luke gave him. He calls to someone that is in the back room "Can you make two cups of tea please Miss Hem? Mr Luke will have his like mine my dear lady!"

The noise of a bird chirping suddenly stops, a young lady with tied up blond hair, pokes her head around the doorway, beautiful lips painted with red lipstick, Luke stuck looking at her beautiful blue eyes, which lock onto Luke's eyes, a smile covers her face, as she responds saying "Sure can Mr Devise."

She disappears back into the small room, you can hear running water, filling the kettle up, that is clicked on, warming the water within.

Earnest says "Thank you dear."

He carries on saying "Come here my dear boy, you have to open It."

Luke joins Ernest on the other side of the counter, he takes a look in the side room on his way around. Seeing Miss Hem wearing a ladies dark grey skirt suit with dark grey heels, beautiful legs up to her ass, she is putting the tea bags into three posh cups that are sitting on their sets saucers. Luke turns his attention to the large oak box.

Mr Devise says "That is your family crest, a crest your grandfather was proud of."

Luke rubs his hand over his family's crest, after lifts the box's lid up to reveal the chosen suit for him to try on.

Luke steps out of a changing room, which are situated at the shops back, there are two side by side, Luke turns the rooms light off, you know because electricity isn't cheep. He steps out closing the espresso oak door, the same colour as the one beside. Mr Devise Is sitting on the sofa, with his back to his shops entrance.

Luke responds saying "I look nice, scrub up alright, considering I don't really wear suits."

Luke walks towards him while Ernest takes a sip from his tea, placing it back on his coaster.

As he says "Your grandfather had a good eye for measurements."

Luke says "Come on now, you did make It as well."

Luke picking his tea, slurping his tea, noticing this slurping of his tea like a common man, is starting to wind Ernest up, him being prim to proper. Luke goes to do it again, Mr Devise standing to walk over to Luke, Ernest is quick to interrupt him by saying "Look at them shoes, they are beautiful, black with a red tint, it matches the black with red pinstripes suit perfectly, my boy I have been waiting for ages to see this suit."

Luke says "It is nice also comfy but I will need another suit when this one needs to be washed, you don't have to make it I will take what you have got already made."

"Oh no you don't wash this suit, you have it dry cleaned I will give you a card for an excellent one. Come with me my boy, I will show you what suits I have got in your size."

As Mr Devise stops admiring his handy work, as he turns, walking near the front of his shop, with Luke following.

Luke says "Something that will go with these shoes, they are comfy mate, like tailored to my feet."

Luke has a quiet slurp of his tea.

Within a dim lit room, a badly beaten man swinging upside down with zip tied ankles also wrists. The guys nose has been broken, some skin around his torso has been sliced off, some slices have been seared like a chef cooking a steak, to stop them bleeding everywhere. A chunk from under his right eye has been sliced off, a puddle of blood on the dirty cold concrete ground dripping from the bloody man, thanks to the handiwork of Mr Carver, which is standing beside the tied up guy, in the victims basement. Mr Carver cleans his blade on the outside of this guys leg, blood seeps in to his jeans, you would think there is some duct tape over his mouth but there isn't, you make of that what you will.

Mr Carver requests the information he needs again, but the in pain panting man keeps his silence. Well that is until Flames puts a blue bottled blow torch In his face, torching his cheek as the flame, starts sizzling away the skin, melting away, The guy of course loudly expressing his pain from the burning he is feeling.

He shouts out "Okay, I will talk!"

Flames stops like a kid that is annoyed he has to stop something he finds fun.

Luke is his normal clothes, Mr Devise is standing the other side of the counter, placing two suits in a bag.

Luke shouts through to the other room "See you later Miss!"

Mr Devise says "Yeah alright lover boy, put your tongue back in your mouth."

Miss Hem shouts back "Bye Sir!"

Luke smiles at Ernest, which cracks a smile.

Luke says asking "I can see why grandad liked you, so you know what this other key is for."

As he holds it up but Mr Deviseis quick to take it from Luke's fingertips, as he examines the key closer, after gives it back.

While responding asking "Not sure, is there a clue?"

Luke responds saying "I will have to re-read the letter that Grandad left me."

He takes the bag of suits from Ernests offering hand.

Luke says "Anyway thank you kind sir."

Mr Devise responds saying "Anytime my boy, have a good day."

They shake hands after Luke goes to walk out, as a stocky white fella, dressed in a black tracksuit looks like he likes a scrap. He holds the door open for Luke while saying "There you go old chap."

Luke nods after responds "Thank you, sir."

Luke walks out of the suit tailoring shop turning right, onto the cobblestone pathway, leading both ways with shops also restaurants either side.
