Chapter 5 V

Anastasia's p.o.v

I stood at the main kitchen entrance waiting for Melissa.

I didn't take anything with me, since I didn't come here with any belongings of mine.

After about half an hour of waiting, I saw Melissa coming.

"Sorry that I am late. I was making sure everyone was asleep, so they wouldn't get suspicious." She apologized.

I shook my head.

"It's fine. Can we go now?" I eagerly asked her.

"Follow me." She instructed as she leads me to a dark passage.

She switched on the hand torch that I didn't notice was with her.

I'm sure no one knows about this place because

the passage was filled with cobwebs, and it smelled like dust.

After struggling with cobwebs for a while, she suddenly stopped.

"You have to go alone now. Just walk straight, then you take the right tunnel. It will lead you outside the estate. Good luck Anastasia." She said, hugging me.

"Thank you very much, Melisa. I will forever be grateful to you." I appreciated her.

She smiled at me.

"It's nothing. I have to go now."

"Alright. thanks, once again."

She nods before taking her leave as I continued my journey of escaping Luciano Romano's mansion.

I opened a door thinking it will lead me outside the gate but found myself in a place that looked like a forest.

I sighted two dogs barking and immediately the lights around the vicinity switched on.

Fear gripped me as so many thoughts flew in and out of me.

Have I been caught?

What will happen to me?

Some men started coming towards my direction and I started running, trying to get away before they will spot me.

I kept running, but when I saw what was up ahead, I skidded to a stop, my feet dangling off the edge.

My heart dropped to my butt when I noticed that a big rock was In front of me.

There was no other place for me to run to.

This was the only route.

I either climb the rock to go over the other side, or I get caught.

I was afraid of heights, and I felt woozy just looking at the giant stone.

The men footsteps were getting louder, indicating that they were getting closer and closer.

"Anastasia, you can do this." I whispered to myself, trying to summon courage to overcome my fear.

I took a deep breath and started to climb the giant rock.

I was already at the middle of the rock when the men arrived there.

They searched the grass around there, but obviously couldn't find me.

I looked down the rock, one misstep and I would plummet to the sharp rocks below.

I continued climbing as I held my breath with all my might.

I almost made it to the top, but I missed a step and twisted my left ankle.

"Aaahhhh!!!" I screamed as pain shot up my leg and I started to fall.

My back scraped against the rock and my arm hit the rocks, slicing it open.

I grabbed onto a jutting rock just in time as adrenaline rushed through me, making my heart race.

I looked down and gasped.

If I didn't hold on, I would die.

"You have been caught. Come down, or you won't like what will happen to you." One of the men yelled at me.

If only I didn't miss a step, I wouldn't have shouted.

My arms were aching, and I could feel my hands getting sweaty.

I gripped the rock hard, almost drawing blood from my nails.

Tears pricked my eyes and my breath was ragged and coming out in pants, burning in my chest.

"I will rather die than come down to you all." I shouted as tears slide down my face.

My feet were dangling off the rock and my fingers were cramping.

"You better come down before I shoot a bullet at you."

Fear gripped me as I sighted one of the men pulled out his gun.

I know I wanted to leave here, but I didn't plan to die so early.

The rock shifted, and a cracking sound echoed, and that was the last thing I could remember.

Luciano Romano P.o.v

"I'm happy you didn't get to choose a new girlfriend tonight, master." Melissa whispered to me as she licked my right ear.

I pushed her away from me, and she looked back at me looking annoyed.

I don't care whether she gets angry or not.

"What are you doing here? I didn't send for you." I said to her.

"Oh," she sighed.

"I just wanted to keep you company."

"I don't need your company." I said, feeling irritated with her presence.

"What do you want? Tell me, I will do it for you. Which style do you want ...." She asked so desperately as she tried to seduce me.

I pushed her away from me, and she fell off the bed.

I ran my hand on my hair, trying so much to control my anger.

"Just because you have been here for a long, doesn't mean I can't get rid of you, Melissa. Don't ever come into my room without my permission...."

"But..."

"Am I clear?" I asked as I gripped her by the neck.

She struggled to breathe and tried to remove my hand from her neck, but couldn't because I was way stronger than her.

"Ye...yes...ma...master." she managed to say.

I released my hand, and she quickly ran out of the room.

What a crázy b!tch.

What does she take me for?

A lover boy or a romance King?

Rubbish!

I hissed.

I walked over to the bed, so I could finally sleep but got interrupted by a knock on my door.

"Who the fvck is that?" I yelled out in frustration.

"I'm sorry Master Luciano, but there is an emergency, and it needs your attention urgently."

That should be Corbin, the head guard at the west wing gate.

"What is it?" I grumbled.

"One of the girls tried to escape, but we caught her."

What?

How?

Who is that b!tch that tried to run away from Luciano Romano's mansion?

"I will see you soon, but for the meantime, lock her up in the torture room and also tighten the security." Instructed him.

"Okay, sir."

This issue will be addressed tomorrow morning.

For now, let me have my goodnight rest.
