Chapter 3 Still Cares For Me

I lay down on the ground while crying. That's when I realised my bp is already not normal and If I keep crying like this then it can harm my baby.

I wiped my tears and stood up from the ground and went to bed. I kept my hand on my belly.

"I was so happy when I came to know about your existence but your father changed everything. I can't even blame him when I was the one who kept him in the dark. Even my wolf, Alice, also died because of me" I mumbled to my baby and again tears rolled from my eyes.

I was remembering the moment I spent with him. That's when someone knocked on the door. I wiped my tears and stood up from bed to open the door. Stefan was standing there.

"Were you crying?" He asked as soon as he saw my face.

"No.. why would I cry?" I mumbled and again sat on the bed.

"I know that I'm not your real brother but I consider you my sister. you believe it or not, I came to know when you are lying and when you're telling the truth" He sighed and sat beside me. I hugged him and started crying in his arms like a little sister.

"You're scaring me Aana.. please say what happened?" He asked. I broke the hug and wiped my tears.

"Recalled something from your past?" he asked. I didn't reply to anything as I know that there is no benefit to lying to me. He knew me so well that he would easily catch me.

"Don't cry... it's not good for your baby and what will baby think that his mother is a crying baby"

"I'm not a cry baby" I scoffed.

"ya... I can see that" he teased me. I smiled at his word. he knew how to change my mood. We were talking only when someone knocked on the door and when I turned to look at that person and my smile vanished.

"Aaron... why you're standing there come inside" Stefan offered him. I was just staring at him and he didn't even look at me for once.

"He was not the same person Aana, who used to love you, who cared for you, who ignored the whole world for you. He changed into someone. He is not yours anymore." I reminded myself and turned my face to the other side.

"I'm sorry to disturb you but there are some expenses where funds are used majorly and I wanted to know about that in detail," Aaron said looking at Stefan.

"You don't need to be sorry... In fact, you did right that you came here. Aana only prepared that account sheet and also She manages the expenses of the NGO. Aunt Jennifer must have told you that she is the reason behind the growth of our business"

"yeah.. she told me about miss. Aana." He said and looked at my side. "You're doing a great job" he passed me a casual smile where I was devastated at his behaviour.

"Let me call Ivanna. she also wanted to know about the details" he said.

"You stay here. I will call her" Stefan said and left before Aaron could say something. I again look towards Aaron who finally looks at my side.

"Aaron you" Before I could say something to him, his phone started ringing. He didn't say anything and went to the side to take the call...

"I want to talk to you," I said while entering his room.

"you're my love Aana, you don't need to take permission," Aaron muttered, closing his laptop and file.

"Huh?" I was stunned at how easily he confessed his feelings for me. He chuckled and kept his hand on my cheeks. I closed my eyes.

"Say what you want to?"

"I" before I could say anything his phone started ringing. He looked at the screen and then at me.

"No worry... you can take the call. I know you're working on an important project" He smiled at my words and cut the call.

"Nothing is more important than you," he winked. I blushed and bowed my eyes shyly. "and by chance if I would have attained this call then Alex would have killed me" He chuckled.

I came into the present when I heard his angry voice. He was lashing out at his employee for some reason. my eyes get moist remembering those moments but I controlled them.

"How could you trust your friend with your presentation John? what if he stole your idea" he screamed again. I closed my eyes and clutched the bedsheet tightly. He knew that I got afraid when someone screamed or yelled in front of me.

I picked up the water jug to pour water into the glass but my hands were shivering. The jug was about to slip from my hand when another handheld it for me. I look at my side, finding Aaron looking at me while talking on the phone.

"Your loved one stabs you in the back and you're expecting that your friend will be faithful to you," He said that on call but I felt like he was pointing at me.

He filled the water glass for me and then kept the jug on the table and again went to the side to talk but this time was talking calmly on the phone.

I picked up the glass to drink the water but his words kept roaming in my mind. He still hates me. I deserve this, after all, I did wrong with him. I kept that glass back on the table and a tear rolled down my eyes.

The more I try not to cry, the more tears fall from my eyes. I was about to wipe my tears. That's when I felt and hand on my cheeks wiping my tears. I look up and find Aaron staring at me.

"Aaron"

"Stop crying... your bp was high that time. Do you want it to rise again?" He grunted. A smile came to my face. He still cares for me.

"Aaron... I'm sorry... I'm sorry. I know, I shouldn't do that with you" I mumbled holding his hand but he detached his hand from mine.

"Miss Aana... I'm sorry but I didn't get what you're talking" He mumbled and moved back. I look at him astonishingly. Before I could say something, I heard the voice of Stefan and Ivanna talking about something. I immediately wiped my tears.

"Aana" Stefan called my name. I look towards him and then at Ivanna.

"They had a few doubts on the account. please clear them and also Ivanna wanted to know about the raw material. Give her all the details. Till then I will visit mom if she needs any help" Stefan said. I nodded and he left to meet his mom, Jennifer.

"Please have a seat" I offered Ivanna and Aaron. I clear all their doubts and give them every detail about expenses and raw materials. I was trying my best to act professionally in front of him while he kept staring at me all the time, making me nervous. I don't know what he is thinking. He had no expression on his face.

"So I hope everything is clear now," I said and looked at Aaron and then Ivanna.

"Yeah, everything is a clear miss. Aana. I was not good at knowing people's true colours but I'm good at understanding business. Don't worry" Aaron said. I hold the file tightly in my hand to control my emotion and look at him.

"dinner is ready" I heard Stefan's voice. I turned and looked at the door side. He smiled and entered the room.

"Work can wait but food, No.. let's have dinner" He smiled.

"you three go. I will join in a while" I muttered and went inside the washroom. I splashed water on my face.

"Why did we meet again? why? I don't know till then I can handle his hatred. I can't break like this in front of him. He hates me then. I'm ready to face his hatred but I will not break down. I will stay strong... for me and my baby I have to be strong." I thought and wiped my face with a towel.

I came out of the washroom. That's when my eyes went to Aaron's mobile. He forgot his mobile in the room and It was ringing continuously showing the name PA on display. I picked up the call and told him to call afterwards. I turned to go out. That's when I collided with a heavy chest and was about to fall to the ground but two strong arms held me in place.

"Aaron," I exclaimed. He made me stand properly but still, he was standing close to me. I moved back to maintain a distance but he also took a step toward me.

I kept moving back until the wall came behind me.

"Aaron, what are you doing?" I asked nervously, clutching his shirt in my both palms.

"Why did you pick my call?" He asked. I looked at him, finding his eyes were on my lips.

"Your phone" Before I could complete he started kissing my lips. My eyes widened at his sudden move. He was chewing my lower lip and then he bit on it suddenly.

"Aaron" I moaned and he got the chance to enter my mouth. He was kissing me deeply and passionately. I closed my eyes and encircled my hand around his neck, losing all my sense in his arms and kiss...
