Chapter 5 Defenseless

Wizel 's heart was beating wildly in his chest. He could smell the thick smoke around him. His heart was beating wildly as he tried to make sense of the scene around him. But he couldn't see anything. After a moment, he saw the room illuminated by a light, and he wished he could go back and let it stop.

He saw the packing plant on fire. He fell to his knees when he heard several screams from inside the house. He looked at it frantically, and through the glass, he saw several figures. He felt his heart racing as he tried to stand up, but he was weak. As he tried to say what it was, he felt a whisper in his ear. He didn't want to think about it because she was trying not to be bothered by it all, and he let out a sigh from her lips and tried to walk towards it. He gasped as he hid it and tried to calm himself down.

Thinking of this, Wizel let out a sigh from his lips, trying to calm himself down. He heard his name called from inside the house and felt his body tense up as he realized it was his brother. He just felt panicked and wanted to run over. He struggled again and shook his head.

He heard a voice calling behind him, but he didn't want it to reach him. He shook his head at the thought when he tried again, but had no luck. He watches as the house begins to collapse in front of him, and she's trapped as he discovers there's nothing he can do about it. He watched the fire engulf everything before he knew it. He watched it rush towards him.

Suddenly, he was jolted awake by a scream coming from his mouth.

Wizel was drenched in sweat, moaning and sitting up slowly on the bed. When he opened his eyes, he stroked his face with one hand. As he frantically turned his face towards her, he heard a whimper beside him. he thinks. His heart beat faster just thinking about it. He panted heavily, trying not to think too much about it.

"Xavier. It hurts," she said, and he could hear her heartbeat. He panicked as he reached for the light switch next to him. He opened his eyes wide, watching the image of blood scrambled between her thoughts as she closed them, and tried to focus on the baby's heartbeat. babies. Tell me they're all right. She cried. At that moment, he moved quickly and took her in his arms. He didn't want to know what would happen if she didn't come.

Wizel didn't want to be blamed for more deaths. He has to get through it. As he walked out of the room, he felt his heart beating wildly in his chest. She must be fine. When he felt like he had lost control of the wolf, he wanted to change, but he knew he couldn't, he had to stay strong for her. When they finally stopped in the form of a therapy clinic where he burst through the door, he was relieved to see the shocked expression on his fascia and he ran to the front desk.

"I need everyone here right now. If you let them die, I'll kill you all without hesitation," he growled, watching them stare at him, obviously, he said It's not a threat, it's a promise.

He watched them rush over before letting him put her on the stretcher.

"We need to let her in. You better stay here." The therapist spoke, and he wanted to say something to reiterate, but he didn't say it. Instead, he nodded at them. It was too early; he couldn't risk losing them; they were his life and he didn't.

Not sure what he would do if they were gone. He watched her being pushed away and they were pulled into the theater room. He stood outside for hours as he couldn't help but recall the moment he got it.

Wizel's father was right, he was too weak to take care of them. After what felt like hours, he saw the door being pulled open and the demon, one of the top healers, come out of the room. He watched the look on his face, and he knew it couldn't possibly mean anything good.

"What is it?" he asked, watching him hesitate before biting his lip lightly.

"I don't know how to tell you this. But she's weak. She's bleeding profusely.

At this rate, baby b is barely sustaining life, and baby a is barely getting enough oxygen. "It was as if Xavier's heart had been ripped open," he said.

"Okay then, fix her. Fix it. You're not going to like what happens when she dies." He growled.

When Wizel let out a sigh, he swallowed in response. "That's all the things we've done that we can't do anymore. The next best thing is the trickier thing," he says, and Xavier snaps up.

"What is it?" he asked, taking a breath.

"You need the help of witches. Only they can help."
