"If I push you here on the balcony? How far will your death go?" I replied which made him laugh even more.
He shook his head before leaning his head on his hand on the table. Then look at me with a critical look. "'Don't change the subject, so what? Is it amazing?"
"You're really annoying Dale."
"Come on, only the two of us will know."
I gasped and chose to remain silent. Every time I remember that night I don't know if I will be annoyed or what.
Anyway, after that we drank more but only for a while because it was very uncomfortable for me not wearing panties even though his jacket covered my legs. I expected Dale to tell others what he saw, but he has only given a deceptive look all night so far.
Richard kept his promise to take me home and made sure that I would not be spied on. In fact, it's fair because he tore my panties to think that he still has it until now.
I just don't know what he's doing with that. Who knows... if it's really just a souvenir or maybe he's already doing something there. Don't just do rituals because I'll hit him hard on his balls.
"Sis..." Dale called me.
I opened the book just next to me. "Why don't you ask him? I'm busy, as you can see."
I'd rather just read a book than talk to this woman-minded man.
"Why? Is he not good--" he couldn't finish what he was saying when I threw him the book he caught right away.
"Another question FRANCIS, I'm not just throwing books at you." I emphasized his second name as a threat that I was no longer happy with what he was saying, which was not really the case. He knew we were at school, but his mouth just couldn't stop talking shits.
"Okay... okay... I'll ask you next time." He kindly returned the book I had picked up.
It's your fault Richard. And it's even more my fault because I agreed. Damn!

"It's late," I whispered when I saw the clock here inside the library.
There is a quiz tomorrow so I chose to review in the library rather than at home. Subconsciously, I can concentrate when I study here. When I'm at home, there are a lot of distractions even when I'm alone.
I arranged my belongings and picked up the book to put back on the bookshelf I had sourced from. If you will ask where the woman-minded I am always with is. He left early because he said he was drowsy. That was better than with him because he didn't stop asking me questions that were really annoying to listen to.
"Oh, you're still here," said one of the librarians at the library in shock.
I smiled. "Ah, yes, I'm leaving too. I'll just return this book," I replied shyly.
"All right. Hurry up because we're going to close the library for a few minutes."
I only nodded at him and hurried to the far end of the library.
"Okay... done, I just need to---" I stopped walking when I saw Sir Castriel leaning just next to the bookshelf where I put the book.
He was wearing his glasses while folding his arms and looking at me carefully. I swallowed as he left the incline and started walking in my direction. Based on the look he gives, it's very serious and I can't see any other emotions.
His face is so dark that I get a little nervous. This is the only time I see how serious he is because every time I see him, he always wears his pure and innocent smile.
"Sir do you--" I held my tote bag tightly as he covered my lips with his mouth. It was as if I had lost my breath when he leaned me against the back of the large bookshelf where no one could see us.
The way he kissed me was not violent and even less gentle. It's like it's between the two that makes my mind go blank and can't choose the right action to do. Whether I push him or let him because whether I admit it or not, I like what's happening again.
"Sir..." I muttered sharply as he moved his kiss behind my ear. I even let go of the tote bag I was holding when he pressed his body to mine.
I closed my eyes tightly before daring to push him away. I poured all my strength to take him away because it was wrong, very wrong. "I'll go first," I still said respectfully even though I was surprised by what happened.
'What is this again Miriana?! You should be angry!'
I picked up the tote bag I had left behind and was about to leave, when he stopped me from blocking my way. I even looked into his eyes as we were so close to each other. Little by little, his usual smile that I see began to appear on his lips. My heartbeat quickened as he quickly kissed me on the lips before returning his serious gaze.
"I hate seeing you with other guys, Miriana," he whispered, enough for just the two of us to hear.
I stared into his eyes even more because I didn't know what to answer. My brain is closed to think of an answer because in the first place, I shouldn't be in this situation.
"And I especially don't want to see you being kissed by another man."
I frowned at what he said. "What do you mean?"
He pulled himself away so I could breathe properly. But he still didn't let me get away because he was still blocking the only way out behind the shelf.
"At the bar..." he said first which made my forehead furrow even more.
At the bar?
"You are there?" I asked as I was able to realize his point.
"Yes. And I'm disgusted to see you kissing another guy. I know I have no right to be angry. But I can't bear to see you having fun making out with that guy."
I was caught in my head by what I heard from him. If he was there and saw me kissing Richard, don't tell me he also knows what happened behind that curtain?
"Are you following me?" I annoyingly asked that made him become silent. "Why can't you speak, Sir? Are you following me?" I said again as he just stared at me.
He wiped his face then turned his back on me. "Yes, I followed you because I want to apologize for what I did that night. And to make things clear by admitting my feelings in the office. But ..." he turned to me after he said that. And even in the dark, I could see the sadness in his eyes. "... I saw you kissing another man. I wanted to take you away from him that night especially when you closed the curtain of your table. I already know what you're going to do because--"
I gave him a loud slap for everything I heard. I never thought that this is the attitude of the man I admire. Not because I'm ashamed he saw what happened that night at the bar, but because he's already beyond his limit that he should not be crossing.
"I still respect you as my professor, but you are crossing the line, Sir Castriel. You are also interfering with my privacy. One mistake is enough, but another is not acceptable to me to allow you to cross the line."
Even though I want to be angry with him completely, I only feel annoyed right now.
"I'm still your student so whatever you feel for me. Stop it because it's not right anymore. Especially what happened just now."
"Miriana..." he quickly grabbed my hand to stop me from pushing him.
Full of remorse I see in his eyes that to this day still makes my heart beat faster.
I cautiously removed my hand he was holding. "The next time this happens, I won't hesitate to tell the dean himself what you're doing. This is a warning Sir, so know your limits." I even looked at him badly before leaving that place.
I did the right thing. This is right.

Several times I blinked my eyes to see Richard inside the campus. Not because he was visiting, but because he was here as a professor.
"Wow... wow and you really chose to teach here," Dale teasingly said while looking at Richard. He even winked at me before looking back at him.
He simply smiled. "I don't have a choice. Other universities don't want to accept me as a professor. So I thought of applying here. Good thing I was accepted right away."
"Miriana's last year here will definitely be exciting. Right, Miriana?" Dale still giggled as he stared into my eyes.
I stared at him for what he wanted to convey. Please let me go back to the day he shouldn't have seen us, because he will tease me until we grow old.
"Just shut up Dale. Your voice is so annoying."
They both laughed at my answer and shook their heads to look at me. I let them talk and preferred to ignore them. Because when I pay attention to them, they will only annoy me even more.
"What a waste... you're not our professor. Maybe next semester?"
"Why? For me to pass you on?"
Dale applauded loudly. "You got my point!"
I don't really know what to do with Dale. I just don't know what the future of his life will be. It's because he's too lazy to study even though we only have one year left here at school. His family is also rich, that's why maybe he doesn't care much about education. He is still lucky because his family accepts him for who he is, so in the end? He will run his parents' business.
He's lucky that's why I envy him that much. Unlike me, I still have to work hard just to reach all my dreams in life. The same with Richard, he's also lucky that he has supportive parents, they just let him do whatever he wants. Just like today, he is a professor here at the school even though his family is very rich and he has many options for positions in their company. But in the end? He still chose to be a teacher.
Life is really unfair.
"So what? Is there something going on between you two after that night?" Dale's weak question was obviously made to me by the force of his utterance.
He should be thankful that the tables were far away here in the lounge. That's why only the three of us can hear the conversation, but maybe later someone would hear his loud mouth.
"Nothing," Richard replied simply.
"Eh? After you--"
"Francis." I cut him off and his smelly mouth that can't stop talking and talking.
He doesn't really know how to feel, does he?
"Why? The three of us know that he prefers girls over boys. So I won't be surprised if something goes on between the two of you after that night. And one more thing, both of you look good together."
"Even if the world collapses, we will never be together. So just shut up there," I said.
I heard Richard laugh but I ignored him.
"Okay, you said that, huh? If something will happen between the two of you, I will..."
"What will you do?" I said rudely.
He smiled broadly then approached me. "I'll take care of your honeymoon."
With my finger, I pushed his head away from me and shook my head. "I'll go first, there's no point in talking with you."
Like before, they just laughed so I didn't let them talk anymore. I left there, because I'm just going home. Fortunately, I don't have classes anymore so I can go home freely.
"Honeymoon? You're really crazy Dale."
Epilogue
"Take that hand off Richard."
He doesn't seem to know the word privacy. I'm out of school because I want to go home. They collaborated with each other just to annoy me which is really effective.
He removed his hand that was holding me so I faced him.
"Why did you follow me? Don't you have a class?"
He shook quickly. "I won't follow you if there is one, will I?"
"Yeah... whatever," I replied, annoyed. I looked around to see if there was a jeepney or taxi to take. But since it was afternoon and there were still classes, it seemed that only a few cars were passing by.
"Where do you want to eat?"
"I want to sleep," I answered quickly, far from what he had been asking.
I'm really sleepy so I'm not in the mood to hang out with these two.
"Then... I'll take you home first. Then tell me what you want to eat, I'll buy it for you."
I stopped looking for a car to look at him smiling now. "All right. I want pizza, chicken nuggets, pesto, burgers, milkshakes, chicken wings with lots of cheese, and seafood."
"Hmmm... do you like mussels?"
"Mussels?"
"Yes, because I want to eat it especially when it's wide open and then watery."
My brain seemed to malfunction for a while. But I also immediately understood when he smiled.
"Ouch! Miriana! That's enough! It hurts!"
I never stopped beating this idiot. His brain is so dirty!
"You're stupid! So accept it!"
"Aw! Why? I want mussels! Ouch! Don't go there! Ah!!!"
