Chapter 7 Cool down, Luna

I saw as Abby's eyes turned black and she let off a low growl. I noticed her claws extending. I don't think I have ever seen an Alpha female so angry; her wolf was out in full force and she was on the verge of shifting.

"You're telling me that someone in my pack betrayed me?", She asked, slowly standing to her feet.

Dante, ask the alpha for comfortable clothes for her and grab some shorts for us and towels. Get a backpack as well.

We are taking her for a run.

On it.

"Everyone out now!!" I scream at the room. Her emotions are getting stronger by the minute, the scent of it coating the room

Running towards her, I kneel in front of her, grabbing her arms.

I hear Dante speaking to the Alpha, hearing the door close after it.

"Her wolf's name is Storm". Dante told me, before running out to get the things I asked.

"Luca, I think you should go for now. We will calm her down first", Dante said, giving Luca a chance to run.

"Storm, listen to me, we need you to calm down."

She huffed, snarling her canines at me

"No, Storm. Focus. I know you are angry, but listen to me, we are going to the lake. A long nice run and a swim will calm you down."

She huffed again but agreed by nodding.

Dante came in, holding a white backpack.

"Let's shift"

We heard the ripping of clothes, and turn around to see Abby's wolf in front of us.

I was taken aback by her shimmering pure white fur. I came closer to touch her, unable to stop myself by the mesmerizing and mysterious look of the fur that look like ice spikes.

She nodded again with her head in my arms, looking allowing us to follow her lead, jumping out of the window. I shifted into Chaos and jumped out, landing with my paws right next to her.

Dante, being the smartass that he is, threw the backpack out and shifted mid-air, catching the bag with his mouth.

After stretching our paws, we looked at Storm and she took off into a full speed run, allowing is to follow her.

I gave over full control to Chaos, letting him enjoy the run.

An hour later running with Storm and Dante through the woods and over the mountains, we stopped at this beautiful lake at the base of a mountain.

The view was breathtaking as the sky started toturn a light yellow, getting ready for the sunset.

The lake was shaped like a heart, and the water looked dark but you can smell the clean water from up above where we are standing.

Even though I have no idea where we are, the little hideout looks secluded and away from any human towns, perfect for a wolf to let off some steam. The mountains surrounding it will also hide the size of a few wolves.

An idea popped into my head. I linked Dante to let him know what is going to happen, telling him to stay where he is.

She won't see me since I am right behind her.

I want to do something, but I know she is going to be mad at me.

I just have this perfect opportunity and I won't let it slip through my fingers.

I went as far as I possibly could and pushed Storm over the hill.

Because of our huge size difference, she basically went flying up in the air and straight into the water.

When she finally emerged from the water, she was back in human form.

We quickly shifted and put on swimming shorts while she was underneath.

"What the fuck Arkyn? Are you crazy?, Abby screamed, snarling at us.

"I was never sane to begin with. You cooled down yet?" Dante asks while I'm laughing trying to get her bikini and towel out of the bag.

"Well, yes, kind of," she answers, "The long run already cooled me down, even though you two idiots decided to push me into the water."

"Atleast we are hot idiots." Dante answered with a cocky tone.

"Doesn't take away the fact that both of you are still idiots", She laughed at us.

"Here is your bikini Abby, we will turn around so you can get dressed and then we will join you in the water."

Turning both of us around, we stared at the mountains while waiting for Abby.

"Thank you guys, I um," she said while getting dressed, "I really needed that run. Storm hasn't been run that far in a long time. We usually just run with training in the mornings. I'm done, you guys can turn around."

"I love your wolf's name by the way" I tell her, while we step into the water.

Suprisingly enough, it is a little warm, and I haven't swam in a long time. The lukewarm water feels good on my skin.

"Thanks. What are your wolves's names?"

"Mine is Chaos" i tell her,

"And mine is Phoenix", Dante answered.

"I like their names. And they're colouring is unique. I have never seen a fire red wolf Alpha before, much less a black Alpha wolf with white paws and blue eyes.

I was taken aback by her sudden statement. I looked at Dante and he had the same reaction as me.

We didn't tell anyone we were Alphas, we even have things in our system to suppress the alpha scent. We are still strong but it was supposed to hide the scent.

"How did you know?" Dante ask while the million questions went through my head as to why she can pick on our Alpha scent.

"I could smell it. I can't exactly describe what it smells like, but there is just this certain type of scent that Alpha's have. I learned that I can pick up on things like that since I gained my wolf. I'ts like it is in your blood. I can also identify Beta's, Gamma's and Omegas."

"Well, that could certainly come in handy sometimes."

"I want to ask something? If that is okay with you Abby?" I ask her, looking at her beautiful caramel eyes.

"Sure. If I can ask something first," she said with a small smile "afterwards, can you ask me anything you want. You are suppose to protect me and I guess knowing stuff will make your job easier for you."

Looking at Dante, he nodded at me, giving permission to answer anything she asks.

"Ask me what you want, Luna"

"Ugh, enough with the Luna. It's either Abby or you can come up with a nickname that you want to call me, when we are alone or with friends. Unfortunately you have to call me Luna in front of the parentals and pack members.", she said with a sarcastic tone while smiling.

It didn't escape my ears when she said the words "when we are alone".

"Do you still have some of that blue stuff? My mind is clear now and I thought that maybe if you had, we can try it on Kat,and why are two Alpha's protecting a Luna? Don't you have a pack?"

Oh my goddess. I didn't even think about the wolfsbane antidote following the panic that ensued this morning.

"Yes, ofcourse. You are a genius. It completely slipped my mind. It's in my room. We can grab it immediately when we go back, and for the second and third thing you asked, It is not going ti be answered now since you only asked for a question, not three."

She rolled her eyes at me, but I didn't miss the small smile that escaped her lips.

"Now my turn", I swam over to her and leaned in close to her ear, my hands almost touching her hips. I want to touch her so badly, but not without her permission first.

The heat radiating off her body was driving me absolutely crazy.

I couldn't take it anymore, she needs to know what both me and my wolf have been thinking since we met her.

"Why is the need for wanting to touch you driving me to the point of absolutely madness?"

I hear her gasp, looking at me curiously with those soft caramel eyes.

Abby

He doesn't see it but my lungs are desperately fighting for air after those words.

Giving me a slow wicked smile, he swims back to Dante.

Ducking underneath the water, I took a minute to compose myself.

I came up for much needed air after I got my heart beating to a steady pace.

This whole thing is making my mind spin.

"So what do you guys want for dinner tonight?
