Chapter 8 Seductive Plea

The agreement had already been notarized by the lawyer, so there was no going back now.

Ariana couldn't help bursting into laughter at the absurdity of this. It turned out that Theodore was no good either.

"Well, I guess we are on the same page." Ariana threw the document on the bed and looked at Theodore coldly. "To be honest, I actually had it in mind to give you all the property if you could help me. That's except for my mother's belongings."

"In case you don't know, it's up to me whether you can get those things back or not. I have ownership of all of them now." Theodore set his elbow on the armrest of his wheelchair as he spoke casually.

How shameless! Ariana's fury was threatening to explode, but she suppressed it with great effort. "I know you don't need those things. What do you want from me?"

"Beg me. Please me." Theodore glanced at her indifferently, like an arrogant and ruthless king.

Their eyes met and held. Sharp tension spiked between them.

Ariana looked away and muttered expressionlessly, "Please."

"Huh? I can't hear you. Besides, is that how to plead with someone who has what you want in his hands?" Theodore frowned with dissatisfaction; his arrogance heightened.

A gloating smile curved up Ariana's lips after a long silence.

She walked up to him slowly and went on one knee. Her red lips parted slightly. "How exactly do you want me to please you? Like this?"

With these words, she set one hand on Theodore's chest and leaned in slowly.

Theodore froze in the wheelchair. His arms which had been resting on the armrests grew stiff. His throat worked extra hard to swallow a ball of saliva.

Ariana's flowery fragrance wafted into his nose. It enveloped his senses. As her slender fingers gently fell on his shoulder, she whispered in an amorous voice, "Or like this?"

A chuckle suddenly escaped his lips. He glanced at her and quipped, "Is that all you have got?"

"Oh, you act all calm and collected, but your heart is betraying you." Ariana jabbed her index finger at Theodore's chest with an innocent yet ravishing smile on her face.

Theodore coughed to mask his slight arousal. He raised her chin with his right hand and said frivolously, "You are offering yourself, huh? Well, it would be rude to turn down such a kind offer."

His eyes were as cold as ice. They were void of lust. The entire room was dead silent. As he leaned forward, his clothes rustled.

A wicked smile appeared at the corners of Ariana's lips. In the blink of an eye, she tilted her head and bit Theodore's lower lip hard.

Theodore's eyes widened in shock. Mild pain shot to his brain. He pushed Ariana away and covered his bleeding lip. "You're a biter, huh?"

Ariana stood up. "Well, you are more of a biter than I am, aren't you?"

She spun on her heels. Afterward, she put the rest of her things in the suitcase and zipped it shut. Without sparing Theodore another glance, she wheeled the suitcase past him and walked out.

Theodore's face darkened. He controlled his wheelchair and followed her silently.

When they got to the living room, Glenda was already standing at the dining table. She was surprised to see Ariana wearing a cold expression. "What's wrong, Ariana? I was just about to inform you that lunch is ready. We prepared exactly what you asked for."

"Enjoy your meal. Something just came up, so I have to leave now," Ariana said, striding straight to the door.

Theodore looked at Ariana's back with a doting smile and said to Glenda, "She's mad at me again. I'm afraid we can't stay for lunch anymore. Thanks for your cooperation today."

The couple left without hesitation. Glenda's anger exploded as soon as they walked out the door. She roared and overturned the dining table, causing all the dishes to crash to the floor.

How dare they play her for a fool!

Meanwhile, Brielle ran after Ariana and Theodore.

"Wait!"

Ariana halted and turned around. She saw Brielle staring at Theodore with jealousy and unwillingness in her eyes. "Mr. Anderson, are you really in love with Ariana? In case you don't know, she dated Jasper for three years. I reckon that she's still crazy about him. Since Jasper chose me over her, I'm sure that she married you just to spite him. Are you going to stay married to someone who is just using you?"
