Chapter 4 Brennan Woke Up

"Freya, I'm here to keep you company tonight."

The male voice was so obscene that Freya got goose bumps all over her body. She hit him with her elbow.

A muffled groan came from the darkness, and the hand on her body immediately loosened.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Freya jumped off the bed and cried for help.

But the man covered her mouth and whispered in a lustful tone, "You're feisty. I like it."

The room was pitch-black, and Freya couldn't make out the man's face.

His voice was disgusting and obscene. And it sounded familiar.

As Freya struggled to break free from the man's grasp, she flipped on the wall lamp to get a better look at him. "Keith Miller? What the hell are you doing here? Let go of me!" she demanded.

"Don't be so uptight. I'm just here to take care of you." Keith caressed her cheek with the back of his hand and leered at her.

Freya felt a surge of disgust and fear as she tried to push him away. "How dare you break into Brennan's room? Get out of here!"

"I'm just worried that you'll be lonely at night. My nephew is a vegetable and can't satisfy you. Who else is going to take care of you? Let me be your stand-in groom and give you a good time." Keith's smile turned sinister.

As he spoke, his hands began to roam over Freya's body, making her skin crawl.

In an attempt to regain her composure, Freya searched for a way to handle Keith, her heart racing in her chest.

She wriggled and yelled, "Stop it! Don't you fear that I'll call for help?"

Keith feigned remorse, releasing a deep sigh. "You can do that, but be prepared to face the consequences. If you cry for help, the entire Hayes family will know that you're nothing but a slut. Who knows if they'll decide to stop supporting the Walton family?"

How could this scoundrel use her family to blackmail her?

Being coerced into marrying Brennan was already the most traumatic experience of her life, and now Keith was cruelly reopening her wound.

Freya was filled with disgust and fury. She couldn't stand the way Keith was treating her. "I can't believe Brennan is related to a despicable man like you."

Keith responded insincerely, "Only I can satisfy you. After all, you sold yourself to the Hayes family. What difference does it make if you sleep with me?"

He leaned in and tried to smell Freya's neck, but she acted fast and slapped him across the face.

"Get away from me!" Freya screamed.

Keith stumbled backward, stunned and his lips bleeding from the force of the slap. He was taken aback by Freya's strength and courage, and his desire for her only intensified.

He roared, "Bitch, how dare you slap me?"

"How dare you speak to me like that? I'll make sure the Hayes family is alerted to your disgusting intentions!" Freya screamed as she lunged for the door.

But before she could escape, Keith seized her by the arm, throwing her violently onto the bed. He sneered at her with contempt. "You sold your body to the Hayes family. You may as well belong to me, too. I'll take you right now and make you mine. And if you tell anyone, I'll make sure you regret it for the rest of your life."

His grip tightened as he forced himself upon Freya, ignoring her cries and pleas for mercy.

Freya writhed and struggled against him, but his brute strength was overwhelming.

Her clothes were torn from her body, leaving her feeling exposed and vulnerable.

The thought of losing her virginity in such a violent and tragic way filled Freya with horror.

She could feel the tears streaming down her face and soaking into the sheets beneath her.

Her fear only ignited his lust as he roared in power, "Open your eyes and watch me as I fuck you!"

His words echoed in the room, suffocating Freya with disgust. She screamed, "I won't let you go!"

"As if you could stop me!"

To her shock, Keith abruptly halted and his face turned white as a sheet. His eyes bulged wide in terror as if he saw a ghost.

Freya was initially taken aback, but then she realized something.

She followed his line of sight and swiveled around to find Brennan, who had been comatose for a long time, staring intently at them with a gaze that carried a wordless yet oppressive weight.
