Chapter 7 ch 7; the lycan king

Elisabeth's POV It was so early that morning when it was time for us to be sent away, sent away from where I have known all my life, where I have grown. As I looked back I realized I might never actually see it again, I immediately picked myself up, I don't think I even want to be subjected to the emotional trauma I have been put into.

It was early and cold too, the omegas allowed me to at least hold onto one blanket, and then the clothes that Christy had packed were still with her, she had all her belongings, which is fine because she had prepared all to go start in a new place even though I don't still agree with her. I looked back at the pack walls as we were being driven away, to remind myself that I was not missing out on anything and that I would prefer to go missing than come back there, yes I know, I was feeling mixed emotions, my eyes were watering, but I was not going to allow the tears flow, there is no point in crying now, everything was already happening, I'm going to face even a bigger problem when I get to the Lycan King's . . . "What are you thinking? " Christy asked me, breaking into my thoughts, I didn't know she had been holding my hands. "Nothing," I said and she didn't pry further. "Okay. I don't worry everything is going to be fine, everything is not as bad as it seems, maybe this is just a way of avoiding a really bad experience. He does not deserve you, I have seen the way he treats you, a Luna should not be treated that way " "Christy, thank you very much for what you have said, truly I appreciate it but you keep calling me Luna, I am not a Luna anymore, that has been stripped away from me, " I told her, I wanted her not to feel like she was obliged to call me Luna. The omegas in the cars with us looked at us for a few minutes, made glances between themselves, and continued on with their driving, not saying a word. "I see it, I know it, You are my Luna, and You will always be my Luna," she said again not minding my warning, I was not sure what she said she saw, but I didn't want to ask her, in case she starts to tell me why she has to call me Luna when I am not one anymore, "Okay Christy, I have heard, you can call me however you want. Now get all the sleep you can get before we leave all the privileges behind, we have a long journey ahead of us " Of course, I didn't know how many hours or minutes it would take for us to be there, but a good nap can never be a bad idea, and she seemed really tired. "No, don't worry, I will pass on that. . . " She started to say. "Don't say anything, just listen to me " "Okay, I will just sleep a little bit then " Just as Christy got herself comfortable on the car rest, I closed my eyes for a little sleep too, no matter what the future holds, I want to be able to face it head-on with a lot of energy. . . . " Come on out both of you, " The one Beta who had followed us from the pack said waking us from our sleep, he had not said anything throughout the ride and it was a good thing, and at least none of them disturbed us when we were sleeping. My eyes snapped open wide and I looked around trying to understand where we were, and if we have gotten to our destination. I and Christy stepped down from the vehicle to see the amazing view in front of us, the place was huge, and more graciously, it was endowed, I have never seen anything like it, and for the first few seconds, my eyes were glued to it... " Get moving please, we don't have all the time in the world, " The Beta said, I couldn't get his name. At least he said please. " Where are we going? " Not that I was not told, I was told but it didn't seem like the right place, what I had in mind was that the Lycan King's place was just going to be like a place where I have to just put up with. No, I didn't think it would be shabby or anything, I just didn't think it would be this beautiful. " I thought you have been told, this is the Lycan King's kingdom " He snapped at me. At least he didn't think I was a dummy. We started to go inside the building, and inside was even more beautiful, whoever had been given the job to decorate the place is a lifesaver, I somehow feel relief now. " Welcome, I see that you have had a really stress-free journey " A really beautiful lady walked up to us, how would she know? " Beta Ava " The Beta that had followed us greeted the lady. " Beta Diego " She greeted back, without even acknowledging me " You can go back now, I will handle the rest. Tell your Alpha we have received them successfully " By ' Them ' she meant me, the slave. " Okay, the rest will come in due time. Please let the Lycan King know we have bought the slaves " " I already told you I will handle it, The Lycan King need not bother about such things as this " After she has said her piece, she face me and Christy and said " Come, follow me " then started to move away from us. I didn't even want to know how that might have affected the Beta that came with us, and he didn't wait around to sob. But that was not important, my life was in the hands of all the werewolves in the pack now. " Hold on! " I said, she looked back at me as if she had not heard correctly. " What? " " Where are you taking us? " " And why do you ask me? You are no longer of your own free will, do you know why you are here? " She said, coming straight to stand right in front of me. " You just told the ones who brought us to leave, why are they leaving when we are not even in front of the Lycan King yet " Christy was telling me to keep quiet but I was obviously not willing to listen to her. " Because I am in charge of you, The Lycan King won't be bothered about slaves like you " " I am not a . . . " I started to say when I stopped myself short. She doesn't know who I was before I know where I am being taken or before I have seen the old and crazy king who finds pleasure in buying and killing slaves. " I am not going anywhere with you until you show me to the Lycan King, In fact, I refuse " Of course, I refuse, how else was I to know if I am just not being taken to the back of somewhere, where I am killed and forgotten, No! my story would not end here, I have so many things to prove, in fact, I still have an act of revenge to carry out, and Adrian and Linda would not have the last laugh. Christy came next to me smiling and she seem content with what I had just done, I squeezed the older woman's hands and I shared a smile with her. But I wonder if my actions just now were the right ones. We walked for about five minutes, leading to a private home, so beautifully made and I noticed I was not even as afraid, something inside of me just erased the fear I had walking there, Maybe it was the beautiful view that was around me. I have heard so many rumors about this place, and they were not good stories. The things I see now were far from what I have heard them to be. I looked around, and guards seemed to be everywhere, they looked so focused and unrelenting. Even the families, men or women that I had seen earlier didn't look like they would be friendly. There was a huge chandelier in the center of the room and I could still see doors probably leading to some rooms at every corner of the private room. " What are you doing here, I thought I told you not to disturb me " I heard a man speak with a fresh deep voice as he came inside the room, I could feel a sweet sensation coming from him, I turned to see the person who had spoken, It was not the Lycan King, but I was not disappointed, it was someone young and someone with a very beautiful and sexy voice. He was looking like six foot five compared to my five foot five height, his hair is pure white and long, looked very natural on his broad shoulders and I could feel his hard and lean figure under his clothes. The beautiful man stood in front of the Beta that had come to pick us up, I think I remember that she was called Ava. "You would not believe what just happened, I met someone who challenged me today, " Beta Ava said as she pointed at me, giving him a full audience. Then she said to me and Christy " There is something you should know, Just as you have entered this pack, you are never going out. Well, except you are let go and that happens so rarely " She said as a matter of fact. What does that mean, the lady sure knows how to scare someone. "Sir . . . " I was trying to get his name, maybe his title, to be able to communicate with him better, but he just looked at me, not saying anything, I just took the clue that he was not going to tell me so I continued. " Sir, I promise you I was not challenging her, I was just asking where we were being taken to, in fact, I wish to see the Lycan King now. Where is he? I can work, I can be a great asset to his park, and since he is old, he would need one more young and one more middle age woman in his pack, I don't want him to kill me please, I have so much I want to do, I have a lot of things to prove " " I don't think the Lycan King needs any more people to work for him, we have enough hands already, " The fine man said, I appreciate his answer but I'd like it better if I was speaking to the Lycan King myself, maybe I will be able to tell him the reason why I was here in the first place, maybe he would show me and my companion mercy. I could see that the Beta Ava was just smiling non stop but I just couldn't place my head on what was making her giggle. " Please don't talk for him, let me convince him myself " "Then do. I am listening " he said putting his hands on his chest. "What? " I didn't understand what he meant. "He is the Lycan King Sweetheart "
