Chapter 6 Decision to Teach in Countryside

She felt ashamed to think about what happened yesterday!

'Why! Why couldn't I control myself?'

It wasn't Harden's fault. Someone else was behind it.

'Victoria! How did I offend you?'

She itched to kill Victoria! She kept wondering what she had done wrong!

She washed repeatedly. What was done could not be undone! She stood under cold water not to cleanse her body but to cool down!

'How could I do such a thing? What should I do? My virginity was somehow taken away by a stranger!'

'Who is he?'

She squatted, covered her head in dejection, and tried to recall the man from last night. In desperation, she pounded her thigh when something suddenly crossed her mind!

'Harden Stanley!'

She remembered the man mentioned his name when he saved her last night.

'Mm, him, Harden... we won't meet again!'

The tough girl couldn't accept what she did yesterday! Since it was her first time, she just wanted to identify the man but would not see him ever again!

After changing into her pajamas, she lay weakly on the bed, stared at the ceiling, and tried to calm down. All of sudden, a sharp pain came from her groin! What happened last night occurred to her again... but she was so tired that she drifted off to sleep.

A sudden call came in and woke her up. In drowsiness, she fumbled for the phone with her eyes closed.

She found it, picked it up without checking the caller ID, and asked feebly.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Camila, this is Paris Beck. You're still sleeping in the afternoon?"

The excited voice of the head teacher came from the other end, and she instantly sobered up.

"Ahem... Ms. Beck, what is the matter? Anything I can help?"

"Camila, I'm calling to inform you about the Teaching-in-Countryside program you signed up for. You'll start tomorrow. Have you made up your mind?"

At a loss, she faltered.

"Um..."

"Yes, ma'am, I'll go!"

She wanted to join the program, to begin with, and what happened yesterday was further pushing her away from the noisy city. Maybe she should go to a strange, quiet place and heal her trauma.

Ms. Beck replied in a brisk tone.

"Great, since you've made up your mind, remember to tell your parents about this!"

"Okay, Ms. Beck, see you tomorrow!"

"Harden, rise and shine. You are still sleeping in the afternoon?"

The hotel room was suddenly opened by a man, the owner of this newly opened bar. Patrick Glover boasted sculped features and kingly air.

He got into the room, immediately saw a mess, and associated it with theft!

"Shit! Harden, wake up! What is this?"

Harden rubbed his eyes and yawned calmly.

"Nothing, just what you saw."

Then he planned to get up and wash. As soon as he lifted the blanket, he saw a mess on the floor. As an experienced man, he certainly understood the situation and hurriedly pulled the blanket back over his body.

Patrick freaked out and widened his eyes in disbelief.

"What the hell! You did it last night? Impossible, no woman can get close to you."
