Chapter 5 Caught in Trouble

"Sorry, I'm sorry..." Alice apologized immediately.

She raised her eyes and saw a man in a fashionable outfit. His dashing face looked sullen.

Danny Bowman studied in the film directing department. Even those rich kids kept a distance from this lone wolf.

No one dared to mess with the son of the Bowman family, the richest and most powerful clan in Lakeland City. In a sense, they were the local overlord.

Not everyone in the college knew about his background.

"Tell me your name." Danny croaked.

Alice found his white silk shirt stained with paste from her pancake...

In shock, she apologized again, "I'm really sorry! I'll pay for the laundry..."

Danny demanded indifferently, "My shirt is stained, and I don't want it anymore. You'll buy it."

Her heart raced instantly as it meant the loss of her board wages for this month.

Ten minutes later, Danny led her to the parking lot and took out a shopping bag from the backseat of a Ferrari.

He produced the receipt, handed it to Alice, and spoke coldly, "I bought it yesterday, and this is the receipt. Alipay transfer is acceptable."

He moved one step closer, and Alice cringed in reflex. With a bang, she hit the car door. There was no retreat for her.

The man wall-banged her naturally and curled up his lips, "That's okay. Be my girlfriend, you don't need to pay."

"What?" Alice was confounded.

He lowered his lips to her ear and whispered, "Be my girlfriend."

Before she could react, glaring light flashed by, and two masked men in black scurried away.

Candid camera!

Danny grabbed her hand and demanded, "Get in the car!"

"Why?"

"Go put on a show with me. Play it well, you don't need to pay for the shirt." He answered with a straight face.
