Chapter 9 The Warning

Samuel Fisher put down the wet wipe, grabbed Angela Cole's hand, and walked away without a word.

Stanley Martin was still staring at Angela's departing back.

Witnessing the changes in the man's expression, Sonia Shaw disdainfully faked a cough.

Stanley trembled all over, came back to his senses, and turned to look into Sonia's teasing eyes.

Feeling somewhat embarrassed, Stanley still could not tamp down the desire in his heart, and he asked anxiously, "Which family does that girl come from?"

Sonia cast him a glance, took a sip of her tea, and asked, "Are you having a crush on her?"

Stanley laughed and did not deny it.

There was a trace of resentment flashing across Sonia's eyes when she said, "All males are visual animals."

She put down the teacup and added indifferently, "If you want her, take your time to wait. Your turn will come when Young Master Fisher gets tired of her. She is such a beauty. Not sure you have to ability to get her."

At the words, Stanley froze and kept wondering that girl's status.

Sonia chuckled and looked at him with a sort of flirtatious expression on her face. "To get funds from Samuel Fisher, Jude Cole provided the man with his daughter. You haven't heard about such big news?"

Stanley's eyes widened in surprise, and he gulped. "Do you mean that girl is a gift to Samuel Fisher given by Jude Cole?"

Sonia nodded as a positive answer.

Evil intentions immediately appeared in Stanley's mind and spread upon his handsome face.

With his eyes narrowed, he thought of Angela's cold, reserved appearance and said, "I thought she was a young lady from some influential family. It turns out she is just a bitch."

"Bitch?" Sonia laughed disdainfully, looked at Stanley's wicked expression, and reminded with a coquettish smile, "She is still a little girl. I suggest you be cautious with your words before Young Master Fisher dumps her."

Stanley laughed sarcastically, "A little girl? Samuel Fisher must have had sex with her and changed her into a woman..."

Sonia's face instantly tensed up as she warned the man before her eyes, "I've just told you to be cautious with your words. Don't try to make fun of Samuel Fisher even behind his back."

"We both are young masters relying on our families. Why can't I make fun of him?" Stanley answered indifferently and then expressed the discontent in his heart, "I've called him Young Master Fisher for your sake. In Norlan City, he is nothing."

Sonia utterly withdrew her smile and said solemnly, "Compared to Capital City, Norlan City is nothing. Young Master Fisher is a big shot even in Capital City. No one can do anything to him. You know what? Not all people are qualified to call him Young Master Fisher. Didn't you see that he had ignored you completely just now? Stanley Martin, I am telling you, don't ever speak those words in front of me. I don't want to be implicated by you!"

Stanley's expression changed subtly.

Sonia was the young lady of the Shaw Group and a prominent figure in Norlan City. She was obviously not joking.

How mighty was Young Master Fisher?

Stanley became curious and cautious. Could he deal with such a powerful character?

Meanwhile, Samuel and Angela had walked out of the restaurant and arrived at the hotel. The girl had to trot to catch up with the man.

They entered the elevator, and the digit on the screen soon began to increase. Samuel suddenly grabbed Angela's waist, and the girl turned to look at him in surprise.

The look in the man's eyes was emotionless. However, Angela found him a bit scary at this moment.
