Chapter 4 Samuel Fisher, a Gentleman

The cold voice of Samuel Fisher scared Angela Cole.

The girl looked up at the man, an apparently frightened look in her eyes.

The traces of tears upon the girls' face made Samuel's heart skip a beat and reminded him of the flowers in the rain he witnessed last night.

With his brows furrowed, Samuel thought he had to see the woman out as early as possible.

He had a feeling that she might change his life trajectory if he did not do so.

"Are you afraid that your father will chastise you for not completing the task? Or are you worried that I'll trip your father up?"

Samuel thought that the former possibility had a higher chance to be true. The girl's father had been ruthless to her, so she had no reason to care that much about him.

"Go back to your father and tell him that everything will go on in line with normal procedures. Instead of spending his time and energy on dirty tricks, he shall improve his ability so as to stand out in fair competition!"

Angela shook her head lightly, pressed her hand against the door, and then stood up.

This was clearly not what her father wanted. If she went back like this, the orphanage would definitely be torn down.

The girl then slowly approached Samuel, her body tightening up, and her heart pounding violently.

Samuel was surprised to see her walking towards him.

The man kept motionless. After glancing at him, Angela opened her arms and placed them gently around his waist.

The girl's little hands gradually encircled Samuel's sturdy, slender waist.

She lowered her eyes and pressed half of her small face against the man's muscular chest.

Her tears immediately dampened Samuel's chest, which had just been dried by the towel.

Involuntarily, the man's chest became hot, and the look in his eyes grew deep.

It was the girl's purity and innocence that aroused his lust and destroyed his strong self-control with just a few simple actions and no words.

He narrowed his eyes and concealed his emotion in the unfathomable expression.

"I've given you the chance to leave, but you didn't use it. From now on, you have no right to say no to me!"

With that, he abruptly picked the girl up, threw her into the bed in her screams, and then pressed towards her.

He aggressively tore Angela's blouse up.

Then his violent kisses landed upon the woman's mouth. Angela shut her lids tightly in shock, her body shaking and tears falling from the corners of her eyes.

Samuel instantly tasted the salty tears and felt remorse as he looked down at the girl beneath him, wondering if she was an adult or not.

He sat up, picked the towel up from the floor to wrap himself, sat on the edge of the bed, and lit a cigarette to smoke.

Noticing that the man had stopped his movements, Angela slowly opened her eyes to see the scene.

With tears hanging upon her cheeks, she blankly stared at Samuel's straight back.

In the darkened, quiet room, Samuel finished one cigarette and was about to pull out a second when Angela reached out her hand to grab him by the wrist.

Samuel froze and turned to look at the girl. Angela bit her lower lip, closed her eyes, and said decisively, "I... can, but please... be gentle on me."

With that, she shyly drooped her face, revealing two reddened ears.

Looking at the girl's adorable performance, Samuel somehow felt less frustrated.

With a soft chuckle, he took her in his arms and covered both of them with the blanket while she was staring at him in fear.

He covered her pretty eyes with his broad palms and whispered, "Sleep well. I won't touch you."
