Chapter 9 Hurry up,guys

There were no secrets in Shawnclud village, everyone in the village knew Stella's situation in the Judd family, but knowing was just knowing, after all, it was a family matter.

However, Daniel was born with a benevolent nature and always sympathized with this little girl.

So he simply reached out and carried Stella's basket onto his body, smiling in a simple way, "This is a bit heavy for you, I have a lot of strength and I will help you carry it back."

Stella wanted to resign, but Daniel was so stubborn that he did not return the basket to her, so Stella could only follow him down the mountain with empty hands.

At the foot of the mountain, Tammy and Molly were still waiting.

The two of them whispered, laughed and played, waiting for Stella to give them a share of pigweed, which was commonplace in the past.

Only, when they saw Stella and Daniel appear together, both of them froze for a moment.

Especially Molly, her little face was stiff.

"Brother Daniel, how did you get down with Stella?"

Molly asked timidly in her voice, her gaze not daring to fall on Daniel's strong body.

"Stella cut the pigweed and I helped her carry it in passing, are you guys going back here too?"

Daniel scanned their empty baskets and frowned without trace.

"Oops, how come Sister Tammy and Sister Molly haven't even mowed the pigweed yet? It's going to be dark for a while, aren't you going back?"

Stella asked puzzledly, with some worry in his tone, "If we go back late, Grandparents will be worried."

She didn't have the slightest intention of sharing the grass with them, and Tammy blanched.

"Stella, you're not, not...."

"I'm not what?"

Stella looked completely incomprehensible, and was in a good mood to wave her hand with them, "Then I'll go back first, and Sister Tammy should also hurry up ,if grandma get angry, tings will be terrible!"

Tammy's body gave a shiver, of course she knew!

In grandma's eyes, she was only a little better than Stella, but she was also a girl, a girl who had no status in the Judd family as an outsider to marry off.

Watching Stella and Daniel walk further and further away, Molly was about to burst into tears.

"Sister Tammy, what's going on! Why doesn't she listen to you at all? What can I do now? My mother would have scolded me too!"

Molly glared at Tammy hatefully, picked up the basket, and remedially hurriedly went to casually cut a little to make good on the job.

Tammy bit her lip deadly as she stared in the direction Stella had left.

In the past, no matter what she said, Stella would listen to her, even if she was scolded herself, she would give herself the pigweed she cut, how came it suddenly changed now?

But thinking of the wooden stick that grandma used to use, Tammy still held back her anger and also hurriedly went to mow the grass.

........

"Stella, the baskets are right here for you."

Daniel placed the baskets on his shoulders in front of the Judd's door, and before Stella could speak, some one came out from inside.

Susan's thin lips spat melon seed rind, ''Yo, isn't this Daniel? Stella's basket still needs you to carry it back, what is your relationship with her."

The words that came out of her mouth straightly caused Daniel's face to flush red.

"I'm just passing by, Little Sister Stella mows so much grass, she can't carry it."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, you are kind enough to take pity on our girl, why don't you look at yourself and see who you are?Daniel,it is time for your mom to find a wife for you."

The green veins on the back of Daniel's hand burst out, he was only doing a small favor, did the elders of the Judd family even say such things?

Stella laughed coldly in her heart, the Judd family people were just so mean, so no one would dare to be nice to her for fear of getting smeared with flesh.
