Hez don't find the words a bit harsh, but he was shocked to heard this man spoke lenghty than ever. He blinked from time to time as the wind makes them invisible and undetectable to any trapped that may consume them. This version of Alpha with him was a bit amusing, but then that makes it strange to the extreme
For Hez, changes is the beginning of something dread.
On the other hand, Raj don't bother the silence and the look of strange coming from Hez. He felt it by himself, remembering how that woman getting excited by the thought of knowing Hez, and.that makes him feel as if his heart was beaten to the pulp.
Hez, though, in silence was soon reminded on his own mistake, then he shuddered. Determination with eyes, he cooly said, "I'll achieve it this time..."
"But I can say she's not just ordinary," Raj thought, glancing for the last time to where the woman stood, face blank and as if not notice their disappearance. "Finding the village in just a day is not what I've expected when spared her life. Hez was right, this woman was...something."
Raj put everything behind as he looked.away, thought about Hez statement about his purpose of having wander this whole time. He has a Luna to search, and the...curse to lifted about!
"But what I worry about..." Hez finally comes to his senses and realized the look of the Alpha, a look that he know very-well. A look of dedication and determination, even means to say that he has to put aside a personal desire. Hez let the wind carry its function, as his cooly voice said, "It is because of her, why they show up once again, and trying to threatened this Village. Was it because they thought...that she is...related to the Alpha?"
The Alpha couldn't help but find the wording far from the position of this person. But he doesn't say anything, nor have a violent reaction to what was it was he heard. Hez was an important as the Village was for him. Perhaps, the version of this Hez as of this moment was the version he has familiar with...and was longing.
But then, after that event of that night of a bloody flood in this very place, everything have change...
And so Raj knows where this strange version of Hez came from, and he has no stand to stop him feeling the situation and even...poiting some fingers to others just to makes the situation easy to grasp with. Raj reminded to what happened since in the Curse Mountain, and he deeply sighed. The very reason they shouldn't let Outsider roam in their teritory was to prevent something or event that may lead the peace and the safety of everyone to risk.
"Was it a mistake...?" Yet, the Alpha's eyes shone with strange light as he remember why on that very day he was on the guard of the Curse Mountain. "Or was it a part of someone's...long awaited scheme...?"
Suddenly, a bloody night cross his mind. And the return of those wicked to the extreme shaken him to rage. How can he forget them?
Those bloody of the eyes creatures has been his main purpose of living. And yet, years of following traces of them, Raj was being played by them. Sure enough, those bloody eyes creatures were the reason of the tragedy that happen to his loving parents, a mystery of that night that he sure to unveil sooner or later. But the safety of his Luna was the main ingredients to have a final say to the events that the Alpha was very aware that soon unfolded.
"Now that I makes my appearance..." he thought. "They sure to makes their move...on the Bloody Moonight..."
Soon after, Raj materialized in the front near of the rotted house build of stone. He was greeted by the old woman who dress in white, stood straight in the entrance while eyes seriously stated something like: Why someone like you visited in a daylight, Exalted One?
As the wind moves around, ornament fill the air and the old woman creep her lips to smile. But her eyes was as vicius as those eyes that bloody to the extreme. Yet, those eyes appeared to be a color of the sky and the Alpha saw such that after blinking his eyes.
"I may say you haven't find what you searching for. Am I right, Exalted One?" stated as emphasis the curiousity in voice, but for some unknown reason, a certainty. "Though that expected, you know, the Curse Mountain distant her will to its people, especially to someone like you who has a bloodline that was strengthened the sealed of the Mountain itself, bounding it to never rise to prominence." There a hint of malice to the voice that was spoken, as if giving a like of which a meds of realization to the Alpha alone.
However, Raj been disturb inside to even let himself beaffected. Yes, he may couldn't focus his attention to what the old woman have said, but his eyes focus on observing everything that appeared on the old woman, her evey moves of lips and every glittered of gaze. He has the reason to not fully trust this old woman but he makes sure to not voice out this very thing.
"You know, the mountain..." He told her everything, from the strangest of elements surround the mountain to what happened after that, in exemption to the appearance of one particular woman. Through out the time, he make sure that he, himself, was comfortable at the sight of her guarded ornamental house. It never be a question why someone as old as this woman kept something hidden and afford to defend her stoned-house from anyone, even the natural laws of the jungle. But there's rumor that the old woman have change because of what happen few thousand years ago. Since that freaking night, she isolated from everyone in the village and only to a specialize ocassion can be seen but never heard from her.
"If you cannot find her, was that a mere humiliation on your part, Exalted One?" the old woman asked with seemingly wicked, but her voice cover that which clad with worry and care. "Perhaps there's no use of me anymore, don't you think? I'm as useless as those Council who only goal is to continue the bloodline of your kind. So...don't bother on visiting me from time to time."
Raj glance to the Village with a sighed. The whole Village was undeniably surrounded with fog as of this moment. It as if was frozen by this fog, and the Alpha barely avoid this fog to fully enter the first time he left the Village. Naturally, from afar, he can do the task of overseeing the border of his land, but then that very day, a particular old woman just uttered something that makes his judgement to keep aside for a moment.
"I didn't sense what I'm looking about," he said without much appeared to be worried, but infact, was calm. "And you know what I discover as I assume that I can finally have chance to met her?"
The old woman viciousness cowed. "W-what...do you discover?"
Raj smiled, feeling great to himself to finally cowed an old woman that full on herself. "I discovered... that a words are sometimes a fraud that shouldn't be taking seriously. Don't you think so?"
"Just like that moment of...a thousand years ago..." he continued, glancing at the old woman with uttered seriousness. He was reminded to how this old woman suggest that he has to undergo training, hence made him far away from his parents at that very moment.
"Because of believing that you can make change," he added with dismay in his voice and as the thought align with what happen yesterday and to his regretted past, his voice becoming vicious and fericious to the extreme. "I blinded by the weakness of your appearances, and forget that a vicious nature can be sometimes covered with a rag of helplessness."
"What...are you talking about?"
Raj wasn't at all sure, so he continued, much to the grasp that he received. "You could have not sacrificing the safety of everyone just to make the protector's bloodline to be save! How can you be different to the Council?"
More dismayed as ever, and as ig for the first time, he dared question the old woman's neutral stand. "What's your reason for living in silence? Why survive alone when... you can save them from death on that bloody night?!"
