Chapter 7 Six

"Sorry?" the man was taken aback by Mariya's sudden question.

Looking intently, the man soon realize who this woman in his arms. And then his eyes widened in disbelief. "How could this be happening?"

Naturally, this man was none other than Raj! The Alpha is not on the ran or being chase just like Mariya have thought af first glance. How could an Alpha ranning for his life on his own environment?

An opposite could be realized if one only see through everything. The said woods is extraordinary to the extreme. Something lurking there that trapped due to their unoriginality to the place. And there's no way out for them, they who dare to defied their own limitataions.

Nonetheless, Raj have the thought earlier that this woman in his arms lose its breathe in his mere presence. And strangely, the thought of it makes his heart unrest. But then much to his confussion, the woman suddenly open her eyes, and Raj couldn't sure enough to what this unheard phenomenon was?

Sure ly, he was certain that there's no heartbeat left to be heard and felt to this woman, and that because of this woods that he design by himself! However, those surprises are nothing compare to what the woman soon asked without blinking.

He gulp, cooly said, "Why would I need your...assistance?"

The woman who none other than the very known Mariya said, tone chilly, "Why not? You're being chasw...don't you?" Her pointed eyes glittered, and she gasped when she remembered clearly. "No, that's not it. Did I really saw someone being chase?"

While Mariya pondered things silenty, a man show up suddenly with a bang. "I take care of everything, Alp-" before he could finish his wording, his eyes widened. "That's..."

The Alpha Raj glance to the new arrival Hez and stood with expression of uttered confidence. "If you finish the job, that's fine."

Behind the tallest trees, corpse laying down and blood is everywhere. Yet, to Mariya's perspective, the surrounding is such a breathtaking to the extreme. Obviously, she was awed, as if everything around her was a beauty that new to her feels.

However looking to the new arrival man, Mariya has a strange looks on her face. She has the strange feeling that a sudden appearance of the man feels so unreal. Yet, Mariya manage to contain herself, she feel it naturally, the new arrival man barely manage to keep its aura and that barely slipped of part, Mariya has a strange expression to that.

"Have we...meet before?" was the question that Mariya uttered without knowing it.

On the other hand, Raj has unsighty expression. He feel as if he was being taken lightly by the woman. And that makes him strange inside, as if the arrival of this Hez was much more important the he was. Wasn't she ask him just now, and yet not waiting to his reply? A gall of this woman!

However, Hez glance at him as if the question supposedly for him. As if who this woman have meet was this very man that he adore but strangely act differently since what happened that day when he decide to let something to be spared. An unexpected thing that sowed an unexpected event, such as this at the very moment.

The sudden appearance of this woman makes the task harder than

ever. Now that he has a clear view of it was, he realize the strange thing. How comes he doesn't sense familiarity on her, as if she was different to the woman she saw fell to that very moment. Or perhaps, how comes she can alter her aura and makes it unfamiliar?

Whatever it is, Hez has a strange premonition that the Alpha, indeed, makes a mistake that day. This woman was not no way ordinary. She was a mysterious and a head ache to the extreme!

The Alpha heard him spoke through his mind: 'I told you, it's wrong to butt on Outsider business!'

After doing so, Hez look back at the woman, expression clad with authority and a highly being that no one could encounter that easily.

"You're thinking highly of your self, Miss, " Hez told the woman, and explained farther when an strange expression appear to her face, taken aback by what appear to be an uttered arrogance. "I'm a private person and I never met anyone without reason. You're lucky by the way."

"What...does it even mean?" Mariya couldn't believe she has to trust this man and has to wore an expression that was confuse but awed to the extreme. "By chance...are you powerful?"

"I guarantee you!" Raj exclaimed and appeared to be out of patience.

But a single look of this woman makes the smile to appear in his lips, making his whole vicius-looking face to appear to be innocent-looking one. "And well, I thought to not accept your offer."

Hez looked at him as if he said something alien to the ears. The Alpha shrugged it out and says, "Well, if you don't know, Powerful to the ectreme Exaulted being, this woman offer her assistance to me. And I just turned it down. Happy?"

Hez don't know what to say. Is he looking to the Alpha or a carbon copy? What the hell is happening here?

Yet, the Alpha doesn't explain his sudden change of tone, and the strange expression and emotion that shown to the both who heard him spoke. Hez was one thing on the context, however Mariya has the expression of desbelieving. She has the strange feeling that something is amass.

It turned out, Mariya has the stronger feeling that the man he had offered some assistance was, in fact, the one who has the highest position between of this man. But hearing those words uttered, she couldn't tell exactly, but the feeling of comfortability rise to feel his heart with ease. Was this place supposed dangerous to the extreme? Yet, Mariya has a realization, and she couldn't believe the essence of it.

Because that realization may proven that this world was not at all filled only by the wicked. And then she thought about the good samaritan that the soul's reader did. So perhaps, her knowledge of this world is not enough, and the reason why she was at lost for words. But her mind wondered, "Is this not a place to...find justice?"

While Mariya was deep on thought, the men leave, and Hez pursued, trying to say something. "This place was dangerous to the extreme. Even if one will help those on needs; one has to consider that the danger is always on the side."

Hearing those, the Alpha sighed. "What I'm even thinking?" he thought but the reluctanct to part overwhelm him. "But then again, Hez was right. The danger will never cease, it may good not to be seen with me to lessen the danger that not just this place bring, but the world itself."
