Chapter four.

"Aaron, I'm scared," Elizabeth muttered.

"With what would happen to Lola? , Momma is going to die if she finds out about this" Elizabeth said and wiped away her tears.

"Beth, I hate seeing you like this," Aaron said sadly and held her face.

"I hate seeing myself like this, I hate my love being like this,Aaron it's hard, my life has always been hard, never, never have I ever had it easy in life, I've struggled through the hate from my own mother, from my sister and I'm now surrounded with much more problems because I can't watch even those who don't seem to love me die, we know how much a heart transplant costs, she was r*ped too, what if she needs therapy, where is all the money going to come from?!!! "Elizabeth yelled and banged her fists on the chair in frustration.

"I can help you," Aaron said and she smiled.

"Don't tell such a joke, it's expensive" She muttered and he understood what she meant.

"Beth, I'm sorry about this," Aaron muttered and held her hand.

She smiled and tapped his hand.

"It's okay, don't pity my situation, Lola will be fine" Elizabeth muttered holding back fresh tears that were threatening to drop.

"Beth, I'm so sorry" Aaron said and tears fell from his eyes.

"Are you kidding me?" Elizabeth sniffed.

"You are the man here, why are you crying?" She scolded and slapped his head playfully.

"It hurts me to see you like this, you are like my rock" Aaron cried and hugged her arm.

"Oh Beth, when I say I love you I mean it" Aaron muttered and placed his chin on her shoulder.

"Funny you" Elizabeth managed to smile, he made her face him and he hugged her properly.

"You don't have to be scared of anything, I am always here for you" Aaron smiled, she wanted to pull away from the hug but he held her tighter..

Elizabeth sighed and a tear trickled from eye to her lips.

Ying's house ***

"Good evening Momma" Elizabeth said and Mirabel turned off the television and faced her..

"Where is your sister?" Mirabel asked, ignoring her greeting.

"Erm... er.. erm..." Elizabeth stuttered and scratched her hair.

"Why are you stammering?" Mirabel yelled.

"Lola, is in the hospital" She dropped the bombshell.

Mirabel sprang up.

"What?!!!"

She was unsure if to tell her the truth but there was no point in lying.

"I found her badly beaten up... and... and... r*ped" Elizabeth stammered.

Mirabel almost fainted on the spot.

"The doctor also said she had been diagnosed with a hole in her heart," Elizabeth said in one breath.

That was the main bombshell, Mirabel touched her heart and fainted, she fell on the couch.Elizabeth's eyes widened.

"Momma!!!" Elizabeth yelled and rushed to her.

"Momma" She shook her.

"Momma" She yelled and Mirabel's eyes flung open.

She grabbed Elizabeth's arms.

"Who has a hole in the heart?, Who was r*ped?!!" Mirabel yelled, not believing what has heard.

"Lola... Momma" Elizabeth replied, Mirabel landed a slap on her face and sat up. She began hitting Elizabeth.

"Not my Lola!!!" She screamed in tears. She continued hitting Elizabeth, she didn't stop her either.

"Momma" Mirabel muttered with her face covered. Mirabel suddenly stopped and burst into loud tears.

"My Lola!!" Mirabel screamed as hot tears streamed down her face. Elizabeth pulled her into a hug.

"It can't be my Lola!!" She yelled in tears.

Tan's Mansion **

Kim sat in his room, in front of his study table, his eyes glued to his laptop,his large room is well furnished a, a master bed by the side of his study table, the walls painted gold, the window panes are golden as well, the luxurious curtains are golden brown, the room isn't to too bright only the lampstand on the table that produces the light presently on the room.

There is a knock on the door.

"Come in," Kim muttered and pressed his laptop.

"Hi, son," Mrs Tan smiled.

"Mrs Tan , what do you want?" Kim asked defensively without facing her.

"Son, can't I come to say hi anymore" Mrs Tan smiled.

She walked to him and raised her hand and placed it on his hair.

"Don't touch me, I don't wanna get itchy!!" Kim warned.

Mrs Tan retracted her hand immediately,she always forgets she has a son who is allergic to touch.

"Sorry" She muttered.

"Mrs Tan, leave, I'm busy" He said coldly.

"Do you want anything?" She asked, he turned to her and glared at her.

"Okay, I'm leaving, don't murder with your eyes"Mrs Tan said shifted backwards.

" Have a goodnight son, love you "Mrs Tan smiled and blew him a kiss. She walked out of this room and shut the door quietly.

"Arg!, always distracting "He muttered and rolled his eyes.

Town's hospital ***

It was morning and Elizabeth and Mirabel had to sleep in the hospital. She insisted on going to the hospital and Elizabeth couldn't refuse, for peace to reign she just couldn't.

" Momma, I'm leaving" Elizabeth muttered and stood to her feet.

"Leaving to where?"

"I've got to go to school," Elizabeth replied.

"Are you that heartless?!!!" Mirabel yelled and almost all eyes in the hospital reception turned to them.

"Momma, I've done nothing," Elizabeth replied.

"You've done something, you are so selfish and self centred, thinking only about yourself" Mirabel yelled.

"Momma, I ain't got time for all this, I'm off to school" Elizabeth said and walked away.

"Take one more step and you will regret it" Mirabel yelled.

"I am going to school, you can't spank me or lock me up" Elizabeth yelled back.

Mirabel stood in slow motion and walked slowly as she stood in front of her.

"You are not going, she's your sister, you are supposed to stay here and support her" Mirabel reprimanded.

"Stay with her , for what? To be her guardian angel? Or Satan?, Momma I'm going to school, I'm in my final year and I won't jeopardise my efforts" Elizabeth ranted.

"You are heartless"

"Momma, stop saying that, you are pissing me off and making me mad!!!" Elizabeth yelled loudly.

"Since you are the one with a good heart why don't you give your heart to your best and lovely daughter Lola!!!" Elizabeth yelled, Mirabel gave her a resounding slap in her cheek that made it turn red almost immediately.

Elizabeth gasped and touched her cheek, tears welled up in her eyes.

A nurse approached them.

" Please, this is a hospital,"The nurse said.

Elizabeth stormed out of there in anger.

Stars Medical school ***

"You are here, Beth" Aaron smiled and wrapped his hand around her neck.

"Aaron I'm not in the mood" Elizabeth said coldly and threw off his hand from her shoulder.

"What's wrong, Beth?" He asked, still following her.

She increased her pace.

"What happened to your face?" He asked and touched her red cheek but she slapped his hand off.

"Aaron stop!!, I'm not in the mood" She shouted, it made him flinch.

"Don't you get it??" She yelled and walked faster to the class.

"Umph!"

"Why is she so mad?" He asked and ruffled his hair.

Elizabeth walked to a point and paused.

"Why did I even shout at him?" She muttered feeling bad already.

"He isn't reason for my problems, oh God, Lizzy!" She pouted and let out a sad sigh.

"It hurts!!" She groaned as she touched her slapped cheek and walked to the class.

She wasn't listening to anything the lecturer was saying and luckily he didn't ask any questions, the lectures weren't too much for the day and visiting the patients in the hospital wasn't included either.

After Elizabeth entered the cafeteria, Aaron was sitting alone in the cafeteria obviously not interested in his food. She walked to him and sat opposite him.

"Hi, pal!" She smiled but he gave her the silent treatment.

"I'm sorry for shouting at you, I didn't mean to" She muttered and a smile brimmed on his face.

"You are not forgiven" He pouted.

"Why?"

"I will forgive you only on one condition" He said and she threw a suspicious look at him.

"What condition?"

"Kiss me" He pouted.

"Kiss you where?" She snickered.

"Here" He touched his cheek.

She smiled and stood up a bit and stretched to kiss his cheek or so he thought.

He closed his eyes and she smirked, she stood up and slapped his face though not hard.

"Ouch!!" His eyes flickered open.

"Go kiss your ass" She stuck out her tongue.

"Let's eat my food" Aaron smiled and she nodded happily, he's mom is such a good cook.

"Excuse me" A girl said and she walked up to their table.

"Yes," Elizabeth answered.

"Are you Lizzy?" She asked and Elizabeth nodded.

"Yes she is"Aaron answered.

"This note is from Mr Jungkook," She said and gave her the note.

"Thanks" Elizabeth muttered and the girl left.

Elizabeth opened the folded paper and read its contents.

"What does it say?" Aaron asked curiously.

" It says I should meet him in the school biochemical laboratory" She replied.

"Go then, you know Mr Jungkook can be so strict" Aaron said and she nodded.

"Ya, I know," She said, feeling weird about the message.

"How is Lola doing?"

"I don't want to talk about her" Elizabeth smiled and left from there. She arrived at the biochemistry laboratory and not even a soul was there.

"Mr Jungkook," She called while looking around.

"Sir!" She called,suddenly something hit her head hard from behind. She gasped loudly and touched the back of her head in pain, the note fell from her hand. She looked at her hand and there was blood on it, she turned and saw someone she never expected.

Elizabeth couldn't keep her eyes open any longer, She passed out immediately.

Tan's enterprise ***

"Mr Tan , I told you, I don't want to get married but you keep insisting" Kim yelled.

"Keep your voice down, remember, you are still talking to your father!" Mr Tan cautioned.

"I don't care right now, you can't make decisions for me, I'm not a kid anymore, I'm above twenty five, I can make my own decisions, you can't do things for me" Kim thundered.

"Antonio, you are getting married," Mr Tan said.

Hearing the name Antonio he had to keep his cool, no one in his family calls him that, no one in the public calls him Antonio.

Hearing it from his dad, it's trouble knocking on the door.

"I'm not getting married" Kim lowered his voice.

"Either you get married" Mr Tan raised his voice.

"Or I disown you!" Mr Tan yelled seriously.

Kim's eyes widened.

"What?!!!"

Gunner's apartment**

Gunner smirked and stared at Elizabeth's unconscious body, she was stark naked.
