Chapter 2 Episode Two

It's been more than a week and the environment was more peaceful than ever. Rose had forgotten about the strange adventure she had with unknown personalities. She doubted if they were really after her as she seems to be living her Normal life . To her it seems like a prank.

"Hey watch it!!" someone from behind screamed at her. Rose hurriedly walking to her car which she parked wrongly at the gates of a shopping mall.

Guess she wasn't watching very well.

"I'm so sorry Master, I didn't really see you coming" she smiled at the man before walking away.

Rose has stolen the man's wallet during that incident. Of course it's enjoyable doing things you really love. She smiled before entering her car.

Surprisingly, a police van pulled up in front of her.

"Excuse me are you Miss Rose"an officer questioned showing her his badge. Rose suspected something wasn't right she noticed the stern look on the cops face.

"Yes how can I help you?" she managed to speak as she was shivering already buh before she could finish she was handcuffed immediately.

"You are under arrest for theft and murder of Mr Rogers. You've the right for an attorney and if cannot afford an attorney,one will be provided for you"

"Get your fucking hands off me!! I didn't commit any fucking crime! I don't fucking know Mr Rogers! she yelled angrily dragging her feet but to no avail she was dragged and stoned inside the back seat of the van besides two officers.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law" an officer spoke before driving to the station leaving her car at the Mall.

"This is a f**king set up!! I'm not a thief neither did I kill anyone!"Rose wouldn't stop screaming till they got to the station.

Unfortunately,the man she bumped into at the Mall had been killed and his wallet was found with her.

She was kept in the interrogation room by an officer while she awaits questioning.

"I'm being set up!!" she fumed.

She didn't know how she's gonna defend her self as everything had turned against her. She suspected that this incident might be linked to the mysterious unknown lady buh she wasn't really sure.

Rose stared at the glass door separating her from the cops. She could see the cops discussing within themselves.

She pulled her face down so she wouldn't break down in fear.

After several minutes, the door was finally opened and a young man in black suit and dark glasses walked in to her.

"I'm innocent!! I didn't kill anyone" Rose spoke while shivering in fear.

"It's hard to believe dear buh you'll have to prove your innocence" the man spoke quietly to her.

He stared at the cops with him and signaled them with his eyes. Immediately they shut down the camera and left the room.

"That's strange!! Who are you?? you aren't a cop" rose gave him a suspicious look.

He adjusted the chair and sat softly.

"I was really imagining what's gonna happen if your mom heard you're in jail for murder. Do you have any idea of it??" the man asked Rose.

"Mr Man don't include my Mom in our f**king conversation. She knows am not a killer and besides I didn't kill anyone"Rose replied in fury.

"Then get yourself out of the police custody"the man mimicked her.

"If you're here to make jest of me then get the f**k out of here before I strangle you"

"It's alright you aren't a murderer not a thief and you really want to leave her before things turned worse. I can put and end to this mess only if you decide to bend the knee"he said and Rose knew that he was working for the mysterious lady. Indeed she'd reach the climax and there's no turning back.

"You've a minute to decide your fate and you gonna choose wisely"he chortled.

Rose was dumbfounded. she kept staring at the man while thinking critically about the decision to take.

"I've got no choice" she sighed.

"I accept your proposal. I'll do it!!" she concluded in working for them.

The strange man smirked at her.

"Congratulations Rose!! I look forward to working with you too" he turned and left the room.

Immediately a cop walked in with the keys to the handcuffs.

"You are a free woman now" he spoke while he unlocked her hands.

Rose took a deep breath.

"Indeed that's a relief" she responded to the officer.

"You can go home and have a rest. Remember to take the key to your car on the stairs. Have a nice day"the cop took the handcuffs and walked away.

"I'm going be meeting the monster soon" she cursed Tylor as she boarded a cab to the Mall to get her car.

Rose almost had an accident while driving crazily back home. She almost got smashed by a trailer. Seems driving wasn't the best option for her at the moment,she quietly parked the car at a park while trying to relax her mind a bit.

She walked to the grocery store to pick up few things for her mom and little Ciara.

Her eyes were dizzy and she couldn't see clearly.

Immediately, a screeching sound came from behind as she almost fainted. She fell to the ground as the car stopped in front of her.

"Hey fool!! if you want to die then go over to the bridge and jump"the angry driver said to rose who was still on the ground.

She sluggishly stood up and spat on the floor.

"Hey what's going on??" a voice from the car yelled as the driver rushed back to the car.

"am sorry Master a lady jumped in front of the car"

"Is she hurt??"

"I can't really tell Master"the driver responded.

"Take care of this mess immediately and get me out of here" the voice commanded.

The driver immediately rushed to Rose who was still standing in front of the car.

"Take this,go treat yourself" he brought out an envelope and gave to her.

Rose eyes shone on seeing the envelope. She quickly took it as if nothing had happened to her earlier. Indeed the dizziness disappeared immediately.

"How much is this??" rose questioned the angry driver.

"That's $60k so get the f**k out of my way now" the driver responded.

Rose smiled at him.

"Thanks a lot you've made my day"she jumped in joy.

The driver shook his head and returned to the car. Meanwhile his boss was observing the scene.

"Sorry for the delay master" the driver softly pleaded.

"Get me out of here now" he said while looking at Rose in disdain.

Rose jogged happily to her car forgetting about what happened at the station.

She gently put the envelope in her bag and drove home.

She stopped by a street to get some ice cream and pancakes for Ciara and also bought some food from an eatery for her mom.

"Am home!!" rose called out the moment she stepped into her house.

"Aunty Rose.." little Ciara wouldn't stop yelling in happiness.

Mrs Emily ran from the kitchen on hearing the voice of Rose.

"you look gorgeous my angel" her mom admired her facial look.

Rose hugged her mother from behind.

"why are you this happy?? is there something I need to know about"Mrs Emily couldn't help but smirked softly.

"Nothing mom, I got a surprise for you. Lemme keep Ciara's ice cream in the fridge" Rose took out what she bought and gave to her mom.

Mrs Emily stared at what she bought in surprise. She knew Rose would do everything she can to make her happy but she's not gonna be happy till she gets married.

"Beautiful angel!!" a sweet familiar voice was heard from behind.

Rose turned and yelled on seeing the person. It was Catherine, Rose cousin sister.

She came to spend holiday with them and thus rose was very happy about that.

At least she has found someone to keep her company when her mom isn't there.

She embraced her and gave her a warm kiss.

"You look so pretty now" Rose admired her body physique and facial look.

"Go freshen up dear, I'll finish things up here" Mrs Emily spoke happily.

"Okay mom I'll be down in fee minutes" she spoke as she rushed upstairs to her room.

Inside her room she took of her clothes and headed to the bathroom for a cold bath to relax her mind.

She thought of telling her mom about the money but something flashed through her mind then she remembered the marriage with Anthony Tylor.

"Fuck!!" she thought of how she's gonna tell her Mom without she suspecting her.

"Damnit!!" Rose hit the walls hardly while abusing the monster and the mysterious lady. She cursed her misfortunes buh was silenced by the ringing of her phone.

Rose quickly put on a towel and rushed out of the bathtub to picked the call.

she'd arrive before the call could disconnect as she figures out is an unknown number.

"Hello" Rose answered softly.

"A driver's gonna pick you from your location by 12pm tomorrow so get yourself prepared" the female's voice spoke without introducing herself.

"Who are you and why are you telling me this?" Rose asked already confused by what she was hearing.

"No need for introduction you're going on a date with your future husband so make sure you put on your best outfit" the lady didn't hesitate to hang the call.

"Did she just hang the call on me?" Rose was trying not to get upset.

She quickly put on her pyjamas,locked her room down and went downstairs to tell her mom about her date and future marriage.

"Hey Rosy seems your earlier today from work" Catherine caller her attention.

"Yea I had less to do" rose replied adjusting the dinning chair.

"You're looking pretty and sexy. Who's the man responsible" Rose and Catherine burst in laughter before her mom walked in from the kitchen with the dishes.

Rose gently went over to assist her mom leaving Catherine alone.

"Aunty Rose mummy wouldn't let me have my Ice cream" little Ciara cried.

"My little angel mom said no ice cream today" rose tried comforting little Ciara buh she wouldn't stop crying.

"Shut your mouth!! or I'll discipline you" Mrs Emily scolded her.

"Alright Mama I've got some pancakes for you"Rose took some pancakes from her bag and have them to her and she immediately stop crying.

Rose's Mom dished the food and served her and Catherine before siting down to eat hers. She noticed the side talks between Rose and Catherine buh she acted like nothing happened.

"Hey girls what's the bickering about?" Mrs Emily decided to ask when it was becoming more serious.

" Rose has gotten a boyfriend" Catherine told her mom while Rose was staring at her.

"Indeed!! and am not aware" Rose's mom turned to her to confirm it's really true.

"And she's going on a blind date.."Catherine interrupted again.

"Catherine!!!" Rose shouted her cousin's name. She didn't expect to get exposed unexpectedly.

Mrs Emily stared at the both of trying to understand what she just heard.

"Em.... What's it"Rose turned to her mom who's been looking at her for quite some minutes.

Mrs Emily didn't know how to react to this piece of information. She also knew her daughter to be one who hates any relationship stuffs and always overlook men but now she's going on a date.

Mrs Emily chortled with glee after a long stare.

"Congratulations baby girl!! mom is happy for you" Rose was shocked by her mom's reply. She'd thought that her mom would scold her but seems she was wrong.

"I just had the strangest feeling tonight" Rose said trying to draw Catherine attention.

"And besides, it's just a date and if he's a handsome fellow then am gonna marry him so no get should get me wrong" Rose explained while eating her food.

"Happy marriage life in advance" Catherine acted like she's congratulating her but that's not it.

"To hell with your congrats,I don't need it now besides I haven't gone yet" Rose was always found of attacking her cousin sis.

"Will you be getting married after the date"Mrs Emily asked to really be sure she's serious.

"Yes mom,as you can see am not a kid anymore and am not growing any younger so I better get settled ones and all" Rose replied her mom to make her think she's very serious.

"Finally my prayers had been answered. I couldn't really believe you can something as essential as this"Mrs Emily smirked at Rose who shook her head dramatically.

Indeed it was a thing of Joy for Mrs Emily. At last she's going to be a grandmother and her seed is multiplying.

"ohhh!!! mom don't over hype Rose we can't tell what prank she's trying to play here" Catherine responded in annoyance and jealousy.

"Hey foodie keep your mouth shut and eat your food before you get choked" Rose backfired her immediately.

"Calm down girls,you shouldn't be envious of one another. This a great news and everyone ought to be happy" Mrs Emily tried reconciling the girls while gulping down a glass of water.

"I'm not envious of anyone" Catherine replied.

"No one said you are, I'm just saying that everyone needs to be happy"Mrs Emily softly responded.

"Toast to a happy marriage life",Mrs Emily lifted her glass wine for a toast with the both girls toasting along with her.

Rose seems very happy not really because she's going for a date buh for the fact her family is united and happy pleases her more than anything and she's ready to do anything to make sure they remained happy and united.

After the supper,Rose gave her mom a hug and immediately went upstairs to sleep.
